"Second time staying at this hotel. Again amazing location. Good price. Room was just ok. Smelled like smoke this time and something gross was on the towel. It's included in the photo. I put in the request for a room away from the elevator. They gave me the room next to the elevator shaft so you can hear it going up and down. I asked them to change rooms and they said no. Then showed them I made the request during the booking and they moved me to a better room. Only stayed one night. It was dark and quiet in the room. Bed was soft. If you're looking for a simple, budget place then this one is good. I'd stay again if I go back to Lanzhou."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from Zhenning Road Night Market and not far from the subway, making dining and getting around very convenient. The entire building belongs to Mercure, which ensures easy access to services. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were very beautiful and incredibly enthusiastic. The cleaning auntie was also very warm and helpful; she even brought my washed clothes up to my room, which was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, a fantastic travel experience!"

"Near Metro Line 1, there's a mosque right outside, and the naan sold there is incredibly delicious; it's run by Xinjiang people. If you walk to the end of the street, you'll reach Xiaoxihu (Small West Lake). The owner is very gentle. Highly recommended!"

The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou."

"I stayed at this hotel several times last year. It's close to West Station, and while the facilities are average, the service used to be great. This time, however, the biggest impression was that the service has really gone downhill; it felt like a small guesthouse rather than a standardized chain hotel. I arrived in the morning, and the front desk staff didn't even ask what room type I'd booked, just flat-out said there were no rooms available and I couldn't check in until 12 PM. This isn't the service I'd expect from a HUAZHU hotel."
