"We had a really good stay at Homa Hotel. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool—you can enjoy a beautiful, unobstructed sunset view right from the pool, which made the experience even more special. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with a kids’ room available that kept the little ones entertained. Another big plus is the location: it’s within walking distance to the famous night market, and there’s a 7-Eleven about 10 minutes away, which was very convenient. Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable stay that we would happily recommend."

"We loved our two-room apartment. It was very spacious, modern, had a large balcony, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a nice living room with a large television. It was advertised as a smart TV, but we couldn't connect a device to Netflix for our young children. We considered that a drawback of the room. A big plus was the free access to the resort's water park, but strangely enough, you weren't allowed to bring your own towels or drinks; you had to pay for them. Our children loved the water park. The breakfast was good, with something for everyone. We didn't find the atmosphere particularly ”Thai relaxation,” as many staff members seemed rushed and stressed, meaning we received only partial or no help at all. There were a few staff members, whose names I don't remember, who were incredibly friendly. We were in block 1, room 1301. One of these friendly staff members was a female cleaner who had decorated the bed for our son's birthday. I'd like to recommend her to management for a bonus or promotion. Conclusion: nice and modern stay, but if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, I'd go elsewhere."

"This resort is nestled on a quiet hillside near Karon Beach, offering a peaceful escape (about a 15-minute walk from Karon Circle, with a shuttle available hourly to Karon Beach). Built into the mountain, it boasts beautiful views. There are eight buildings, each four stories high, ensuring every room has a great view. While the hillside is steep, there's an elevator for convenience. The hotel service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The water quality at the hotel is good, so there's no need for an additional filter shower head. Overall, it's a fantastic resort for families and couples! I'll definitely be back!"

"I recently stayed at Hotel Clover Patong and overall had a very pleasant experience with my family. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The service from the staff was excellent throughout our stay. My family especially enjoyed the rooftop pool, which also features a bar and offers a great view of Patong Beach—perfect for catching the beautiful sunset in the evening. The location is excellent as well, just about a 5-minute walk to Patong Beach, making it very convenient for families and travellers who want easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The breakfast spread was decent with a good variety of options. However, there was a serious issue that needs attention: on two consecutive days, cockroaches were spotted on the floor, on tables, and along the buffet line. I informed the staff, and they followed up with an email assuring that they would investigate the matter. I also noticed that a previous guest had raised a similar concern, which suggests this may be an ongoing issue. Aside from this, everything else about the hotel was positive, and I would still recommend it—provided that this hygiene concern is addressed promptly."

"On the first night of our stay, the front desk area was okay. The hotel is conveniently located right by the road, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the beach. The only minor downside was that the front desk area felt a bit stuffy. Overall, it was a pretty standard experience, nothing spectacular but decent. The value for money was quite good."

The bedding and pillows in the room are absolutely top-notch, and the hotel's design is very distinctive with exquisite decor. Plus, the view is simply unbeatable. "Everything was great. From the cozy, soft bed to the pool on the roof, where it is simply incredible to watch the sunset. You can smoke on the balcony. It is about 15 minutes walk to the sea, along the way there is a 7/12, barbershops, cafes, all kinds of fruit stalls where you can make any fresh juice from tropical fruits, massage parlors, etc. On the beach itself there is a smoking area/beer/fresh juices/jet skis/toilet/shower, in general, everything your heart desires! We spent 2 weeks in complete relaxation. I recommend it to everyone!"

"Moved from Old Town to Patong. My experience in Old Town was superb, enjoyable and relaxing. As we were approaching Gig Hotel, my spirit took a deep plunge from excitement to anticlimax ! thought I had found a gem hotel after reading all the positive highly rated reviews. It was a total disaster and the start of my nightmares! The streets were lined with sleazy massage parlours and Muslim eateries. I thought I was in Middle East. It’s impossible to find authentic Thai cuisine in that vicinity, let alone any restaurant serving pork. Breakfast in hotel has no pork too. Receptionist gave wrong info of breakfast venue. Told us it’s at the rooftop but it’s actually on the first floor. Breakfast was always crowded and food not replenished after 10 am. 2 coffee machines but long line of queue as it takes forever to dispense a cup of coffee/drink. No informing prior to breakfast closure. Staff just started clearing everything abruptly. The chairs are another nuisance, so heavy that tends to hit the chair behind every time you get up. The whole tables and chairs setting was almost back-to-back, very tight and uncomfortable. The so called infinity pool was rather small and always packed as guests from Gu Hotel (located just opposite and under the same management) share hotel amenities. The gym was so pathetic with only a couple of equipment. Next, the room was oddly designed and poorly furnished. There’s nothing luxury about the room. In fact, it felt cheap, poorly designed with much wasted space. Apart from being spacious and having full amenities, everything else was mediocre. Same or 1 type of homogeneous tile for the whole room, including toilet and wet/shower areas so possibility of slipping hazards. The wardrobe and toilet share the same door and the track wasn’t smooth. Have to exert bull strength to open and close. In the end, we just left the door half opened. Too tedious to open and close. The main entrance door was also faulty. We had to push it real hard to level and lock it. No coffee table between the TV and sofa and no luggage stand. No view from balcony - faces the facade of the other rooms. Moreover it’s too hot to sit at the balcony with the air-con compressor running. Poor soundproofing, we got awakened by noisy housekeeping staff outside our room every morning! Good luck to those with big and heavy luggage. No porter at sight when we arrived and the only way to the reception is either a flight of stairs or a very steep ramp. The potter appeared after we processed our check-in and offered to help us with our luggage which we declined. Why should we tip him after lugging the flight of stairs? Checkout is strictly at 12 noon. For late checkout, additional charge applies. .We couldn’t wait to end our stay at Gig Hotel. How could this hotel be awarded 4*? The only plus point is, it’s near Jungceylon."

"I had such a great stay at The Kee Resort & Spa and would absolutely recommend it. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the action near Bangla Road, steps from everything. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool area is such a vibe, and overall the atmosphere is fun and lively. The staff were also lovely and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is the noise — you’ll sometimes hear people in the hallways late at night (we’re talking 4am energy 😅), and the street noise can be loud, especially during pool parties or busy nights. They do provide earplugs, which is thoughtful, but honestly they don’t completely block out the noise. That said, it really comes with the territory when you choose to stay right in the middle of Bangla Road. If you’re looking for total silence, this isn’t the spot — but if you want to be in the centre of everything, it’s perfect. Overall, we loved it and I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Phuket!"
