"The exquisite afternoon tea and freshly ground coffee were absolutely perfect for me, I really enjoyed them. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm welcome and the atmosphere was fantastic. The kids didn't want to leave! The location is great, and you don't even have to carry your own luggage; if you book in advance, the owner will help you with it. It's also convenient for shopping. The modern decor, spacious rooms, excellent natural light, and good ventilation were all highlights. Our family room easily accommodated four people without feeling cramped at all. Overall, our stay here was excellent and I highly recommend it."

"The hotel is conveniently located among many of the city’s most popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Although the staff were not very talkative, they were incredibly helpful and always willing to assist us whenever needed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We especially loved the traditional architecture, which added a unique charm to our stay and made the experience feel much more authentic. Definitely worth trying if you’d like to experience a classic local-style accommodation."

"The staff went above and beyond throughout my entire stay. They were always available to help with anything, answered every question patiently, recommended great local restaurants, and even arranged airport and high-speed rail station transfers, making the trip completely stress-free. One of the most thoughtful moments was when I had to leave very early in the morning for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Knowing that most breakfast places would not be open yet, the hotel prepared a simple breakfast for me in advance so I wouldn't have to start the day hungry. It was a small gesture that left a big impression. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the regular breakfast was delicious every day. The ******* butter tea activity was also a memorable experience. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about local culture, meet other guests, and share stories together. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The level of hospitality here is exceptional. If I ever return to Lijiang, I will definitely here again😍😍 And their dog is so cute🤩"

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely give it a 10/10. The hotel is very clean, well organized, and feels luxurious. Our room was beautiful and featured a large bathtub in front of a huge window with a breathtaking view of the lake and the Snow Mountain. Another highlight was the breakfast service. Breakfast was delivered directly to our room every morning, and the quality was excellent. We could choose between a Western breakfast and a Chinese breakfast, and the staff also carefully respected our dietary wishes, especially regarding not eating meat or pork. The service overall was outstanding. The staff were always reachable via WeChat and helped us with every request we had. We also really appreciated the complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service. In addition, the team provided us with great information about local activities and even helped us find Muslim-friendly restaurants in the area, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, we are extremely satisfied and very thankful for the excellent service and the wonderful stay. Highly recommended!"

"Lijiang Jinmao Hotel has an amazing vibe! Tucked away right next to Shuhe Old Town, its Naxi-style architecture and garden landscapes are beautiful, with a new stunning view at every turn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bedding is plush, and you can even see the mountains from the lobby. Plus, they offer many hands-on craft activities. Angel provided thoughtful and attentive service, and the breakfast was abundant with local specialties. It's super convenient for exploring the old town and visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Definitely my top choice for a relaxing vacation, I'll be back!"

"This guesthouse is conveniently located just 10 meters inside the North Gate of Lijiang Old Town, so you don't have to drag your luggage far. It's easy to catch a taxi or ride a bike from here to anywhere. The guesthouse is on Wuyi Street (a food street), with a 7-11, Ba Wang Cha Ji, and Hougu Coffee all within about a 10-minute walk. We stayed three nights and opted for the high-speed rail pickup. The young owner provides excellent service – he's very proactive, friendly, and even speaks English! He also shared a guide to exploring the old town, including tips to avoid common tourist traps. The guesthouse itself has a lovely Bai ethnic wooden style, and the hygiene is great with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The small courtyard is very charming and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. I highly recommend it to friends!"

"The Wanda Meihua Hotel in Lijiang Old Town is conveniently located near the old town. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and offer a pleasant stay. Xiao Ye at the front desk was efficient and provided helpful check-in instructions; she was patient and attentive throughout the stay. She responded promptly to any issues that arose during the stay. The hotel breakfast was decent, and the underground parking with direct access to the hotel elevator was convenient. Thanks to Xiao Ye's helpful assistance, the entire stay was hassle-free. The hotel offers good value for money, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Lijiang. The room is spacious, with two double beds and one single bed, comfortably accommodating five people. Note that the parking lot is underground; take the elevator from the basement to the first floor."

"Definitely a 6 stars experience(if I could give a 6 stars even), it has been 3+ weeks since my Yunnan trip ended, wife and me still thinking about the stay with Meiloulanting. It was one of our best stay in china, if not the best. Service from Xiaode the person in charge is thoughtful and personal, his younger male staff is also very helpful in all our needs. Got tons of guidance and advice from Xiaode on where and what to eat(and even some discounts at selected eateries). This homestay has porter service to pick up(and drop off) your luggage from the entrance to Gucheng avoiding the lugging of your luggages over the super uneven cobblestones of Gucheng. Location is right smack middle of Gucheng, walking over to any spot in this area is super convenient. Walking out of the many exits of Gucheng do require some navigation from your gaode app, but nothing too complicated. 

The “Tea ceremony - Garden” room is exactly what we have seen on the photos. Room is clean and nice with a nice patio/courtyard where you can chill out a bit if that’s your thing. The already spacious room with that extension makes it very comfortable. Room has built in audio system to play music from your phone via BT accessible beside your bed, a very pleasant feature to chill out in your room after long day of touring. 

Outside the room, the hotel is a relatively compact but not cramp environment, nice pond water feature tallying with the more tea zen theme. Although we didnt use the facilities much due to schedule constraints, it certainly a nice feel and it checks out. If you booked this place, dont forget to visit the small rooftop overlooking Gucheng, it has a nice view of the jade dragon snow mountain and its mountain line, basically 360 view of the area do try during sunrise or sunset!

Hotel has a cute young cat at time of writing, do look out for it, although its roaming the city like us most of the time you might be lucky to see it and interact with it.

All in all, excellent place and insane price for the stay. Aesthetic meets quality meets service meets value - an unheard of combo. Wife and me will definitely revisit Meiloulanting if we ever go back Lijiang - WITHOUT A DOUBT."

"Stayed for 2 nights from June 7-9, 2026. The special package I bought on Ctrip offered incredible value for money! The hotel staff were very attentive; they'd proactively greet guests anywhere within the hotel. The standalone villa was indeed spacious. Although the room facilities are quite old, you can still see the high standards and quality of the original setup! However, for a five-star hotel, providing purified water instead of mineral water for guests felt a bit like cutting corners. Sitting in the small courtyard, enjoying tea and conversation, was truly delightful. The landscaping design, arrangement, and maintenance throughout the villa area are all beautiful, especially the view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the restaurant plaza – it's absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's breakfast selection is extensive, and the quality is excellent, with a beautiful and comfortable dining environment. As a resort hotel, it achieves a high standard and a perfect balance across all aspects, including location, environmental quality, and service level."
