A pleasant and convenient hotel located very close to Hong Kong International Airport. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which makes it a good option for early flights or events nearby.
I stayed here while attending an event at AsiaWorld-Expo. It was very convenient, as the venue is close and reachable on foot, partly via covered walkways. There are a few basic options inside AsiaWorld-Expo, including a 7-Eleven and Starbucks, but it takes about 10 minutes to walk there.
The room itself is small but functional. The bathroom and shower are separate. There are two large towels and two small towels. The sink is located in the room, not inside the bathroom. Toiletries are provided, including toothbrushes, cotton pads, and cotton swabs. Everything was clean and well maintained.
To avoid waiting until the standard 3:00 PM check-in time, I was offered an early check-in with a twin room, which I accepted. The room felt quite compact, and the second bed takes up a lot of space, so it can easily become a luggage area if you are staying alone.
In the room, there is a kettle, tea, a couple of tea bags, coffee, a safe, and bottled water. A carafe is provided, and you can refill clean drinking water on your floor. You just need to call reception by dialing zero, and they will tell you where the water dispenser is located on your floor.
There is not much around the hotel at ground level. On-site, there is a restaurant serving breakfast, as well as vending machines with simple snacks, cookies, and soft drinks. For more options, you need to walk to the nearby shopping area or AsiaWorld-Expo.
My room windows faced another hotel, the Marriott, so there was no view, but it was very quiet. No airplane noise at all, which was a nice surprise for an airport hotel.
Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very practical for airport stays or nearby events. Everything worked well, and I would rate it 5 stars for convenience and functionality.

Nestled on Cheung Chau, this hotel is a hidden gem with a beautiful beach right at its doorstep. It offers convenient transportation to the airport and Disneyland, both also on the outlying islands, as well as easy access to Mong Kok and other city areas via bus and MTR. The owner is incredibly warm, polite, and friendly. The hotel itself is clean and hygienic, boasting a peaceful and comfortable ambiance with mountains at its back and the sea in front. They even provide BBQ facilities, and the breakfast is delicious and very filling. While the rooms are small, they are fully equipped and have everything you need. Overall, it was a great experience.

I originally wanted to give a bad review, but my kids said, 'Mom, the staff here are all so dedicated and hardworking, let's give them a good review instead.'
First, let me start with the positives. The staff were very friendly and quick to resolve issues, which the kids loved! The breakfast was good value for money; it would have been even better if they had congee with shredded pork or similar options that kids enjoy.
On the morning after our first night, both of my children had numerous red rashes on their ankles, bitten by some kind of insect. The first day was severe, and the kids scratched themselves raw. Luckily, I brought some herbal ointment for them. I didn't think much of it on the first day, but on the second night, their feet started itching again. I called customer service to ask for a solution, inquiring if they had any medicine or medical staff. Turns out, they had neither. Later, three staff members came to the room and quickly helped us change the bedding. We were too tired to change rooms as we had spent a whole day at Disney. They changed everything very quickly and worked hard, which my children noticed and said how good the staff were. However, the issue itself was just left unresolved. I told my kids then that if I were the type to be very serious about things, I would hire a lawyer and sue the hotel for letting my kids get bitten like that. I was so angry! I truly don't know what bit them, and I'm very upset! We came out to have fun, and then this happens! The hotel didn't even apologize; they just changed the bedding and sprayed some disinfectant... The pictures were taken two or three days after the bites, and the swelling had already gone down a lot. I think the hotel should take responsibility and seriously address this matter!
I've been so busy taking the kids out to play these past two days that I almost forgot about this. Now that I have some free time, I quickly wanted to post this review!

The hotel is by the sea and very quiet. I booked a sea view room, and both the room and bathroom offered full sea views. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Although there aren't many dining options nearby, there's a large supermarket right next door that carries all the essentials. Taking the bus to the South District, you can enjoy the beach, go shopping, and find plenty of restaurants. Overall, it's quite suitable for a family vacation and relaxation.

We stayed in this hotel just to take our early morning flight. So we did not explore the location that much. Walking around a bit, not much to do, it is just to relax. The staff were helpful and friendly, helping us with booking morning taxi to the airport. The room was clean. No amenities (such as tooth brush, water, ...) at all. You need to have your own. Overall, It was ok.

Location: Situated inside Citygate Outlets, right at Exit B of Tung Chung MTR station. It's incredibly convenient for connecting to other parts of Hong Kong (like Hong Kong Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360 cable car, or Hong Kong Airport). You can access the hotel lobby by taking the escalator down from the second floor of Citygate, opposite Ralph Lauren – the directions are very clear. From the first floor of Citygate, opposite Starbucks, you can catch the Eternal East Bus to Shenzhen Bay Port. Citygate itself is also a great place to shop, with a supermarket and many brand outlet stores.
Facilities: The room size is on the smaller side, and the overall facilities are a bit dated. Both the mattress and pillows are quite soft. The shower and toilet are separate, and the water pressure and temperature of the shower are good. The shower gel and shampoo have a pleasant scent. The air conditioning works very well. The room provides disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers, but the slippers are as thin as paper – even worse than those in budget hotels. The soundproofing in the room is quite good; I didn't experience any noise during my one-night stay.
Service: I didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but there are many restaurants in the mall, and we opted for McDonald's. The room provides three 330ml bottles of mineral water. You don't need a room card to use the elevator, which I found a bit odd. Both check-in and check-out were very efficient. When I returned to pick up my luggage after shopping, the service staff saw I had many items and proactively offered me a paper bag for them.
Overall, it's a good choice for those needing to transit for a night, whether for Hong Kong Disneyland or Hong Kong Airport. This time, I booked it for 827 RMB without breakfast, and it came with two days of mobile data, so I still felt it offered pretty good value for money.

The room was spacious and comfortable, a rare find in Hong Kong to have a standard room with a large bed. The sea view was beautiful, and the airport shuttle runs every half hour, which was very convenient once we timed it right. We also tried the hotel restaurant and buffet, both of which were excellent. It's my top choice for staying with my child during SAT exams, as it's just a three-minute walk through the connecting corridor.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I originally booked it for its proximity to Disneyland and Citygate Outlets, but everything about it was better than I thought it would be.
First off, it's located right above Citygate Outlets, which makes shopping, dining, and grocery runs incredibly convenient. Getting to Disneyland is also a breeze, and the hotel even offers a dedicated airport shuttle service, which is a huge plus. The high ceilings are another great feature, making it feel much more spacious and comfortable than other hotels I've stayed in during this trip, including those in the city and Macau. The cleanliness was also top-notch.
The only downside was the shower. Whether it was the overhead or handheld nozzle, the water pressure was just too low to enjoy a proper shower. I really hope they can improve that.

The room was pretty good. For a family with a seven-year-old, the beds here are wider than those at Four Points, at 1.35m, so the child can share a bed with a parent.
When booking through Ctrip, we received two packs of snacks and some water, but there was no free water at other times. There's a convenience store across the street where Snowflake beer is actually cheaper than water, haha! In the evenings, the restaurant next door offers discounted bento box meals which are very good value.
The highlight has to be the shuttle bus service to and from Tung Chung MTR Station and the airport.
The airport shuttle departs from the hotel at 45 minutes past the hour and takes about 15 minutes.
I took a picture of the Tung Chung shuttle schedule; it departs every half hour during morning and afternoon slots, so check it out if you need it.
The Ngong Ping 360 cable car is right by MTR Exit B. The hotel's shuttle drops you off near Exit A roundabout, just follow the path. We bought a combo ticket for the cable car and a Tai O boat trip through Ctrip on that day, and it was incredibly good value – highly recommended! We saw lion dances, the Big Buddha (like in Infernal Affairs), the fishing village, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, and General Rock. Definitely worth going!
During holidays, the Crystal Cabin queue moves much faster; I'm not sure about weekdays.
It's also quite close to Disneyland, just two stops away. The hotel itself is clean and relatively quiet. The building opposite was quite striking with its densely packed rooms.
YHA Ngong Ping Davis Youth Hostel is located on the high plains east of Ngong Ping, Lantau Island. It is a must-see for those who love Chinese history and culture and those who like to climb mountains. The hostel is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is also suitable for those who love nature and enjoy the quiet countryside. The famous Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and Heart Sutra Forest are all within easy reach. The Phoenix Mountain facing the hostel is 934 meters above sea level and is a great place to watch the sunrise (it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the top). If you want to stroll around Ngong Ping Market or try the Ngong Ping Cable Car, the journey will only take a few dozen minutes. The hostel is currently open seven days a week. Members are kindly requested to make reservations in advance.
From Tung Chung: Take bus No. 23 from Tung Chung Bus Terminal to Ngong Ping Bus Terminal and walk towards Po Lin Monastery. At Po Lin Monastery, follow the path on the left side of the old public toilet and follow the hostel sign for about 5 to 10 minutes to reach the hostel.

Depends on your purpose for visiting this area, you may or may not find this hostel convenient. I chose this hostel solely because I planned to check out Tai O and do an early morning hike up Lantau Peak.
There’s actually not much in the area except the Giant Buddha, the beautiful monastery, and the Wisdom Path if you choose to include it. This is the only hotel/hostel in the area. There’s no supermarket or convenience store nearby, so I highly suggest bringing plenty of food and drinks before arriving. You might also want to bring your own slippers!
The hostel has a water purifier, hot and cold showers, a microwave, fridge, a spacious kitchen, and other essentials. I didn’t cook during my stay—I bought food from Tai O instead. Nonetheless, it was super convenient for me since I like to go slow and enjoy things at my own pace.
Note that a membership fee of 150 HKD is required, and there’s also a refundable deposit of 500 HKD, unless you damage something on the property.
Karen and Mark were super nice—I had a great chat with both of them!

HHeizhimahenxiangWe were assigned a king-size bed room, even though I'd requested a twin room in the booking notes. The front desk staff was alright, and we understood that with it being Chinese New Year, they probably had a lot of guests and couldn't fulfill all requests. I asked for an extra duvet, but they could only provide a blanket, which was clean enough. Breakfast was quite basic, but they did change up a few items every day. You could hear doors opening and closing in the adjacent rooms, but the soundproofing seemed decent otherwise. It's very close to Wan Chai MTR station Exit C, and getting to and from the airport on the A11 bus was convenient. We even got to experience the ding-ding trams. There are quite a few bars around, so I wouldn't recommend returning to the room too late.
GGuest UserIt offers the luxury quality you'd expect from a Mid-levels residence, and we even got a room upgrade! It's right next to the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Just a heads-up, the walk downhill requires a bit of stamina, but it's very close to Queen's Road.
GGuest UserLocation is unbeatable. I came from Shenzhen via high speed rail and hotel is just a short taxi ride away from. West Kowloon Station. It is also very near to Yau Ma Tei MTR station (which can get me to Central area easily). I especially like the fact that hotel is next to an Airport Bus station (1min away). Great for travellers with lots of luggage. Cost 34.50 hkd. Just a tip, try to hop on the bus before typical check out time at 12pm. I boarded the bus at 12.20pm and I was lucky enough to get a seat. Some who boarded after my stop had to stand.
There are lots of shopping options and restaurants along Nathan Road. I especially like the Pistachio Tarts from The One bakery 2 mins walk away. It is heavenly.
Room wise I like the special touches. Like the soap with Pu er sent and the furry slippers. Hotel is also very new and space wise I think it's just nice for me. Highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent! The cleaning lady was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. She was super efficient and just a wonderful person 👍. The handsome gentleman with the longer fringe and white shirt at the front desk helped me check in. He respected my request and gave me the room key an hour early, which was very efficient 👍. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel. The location is also superb. It's convenient to get anywhere, with a tram stop just a short walk from the entrance. There are plenty of food and drink options in Tai Hang, just a few minutes' walk away. The views are also great. Getting to the hiking trails takes only 10 minutes by bus.
AAnonymous UserThis was my first time staying at the South Nest and I thought it was great, and easy to find. Of course, getting five-star service in Hong Kong at this price point is impossible, but I think this hotel offers excellent value for money in Hong Kong. Plus, many buses go directly to Central.
LLingchuanwangxianzhiExcellent location! Right outside Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, and only a 200-meter walk to the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour, and Victoria Harbour. There are tons of great food options and convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Sasa nearby. The room was clean, well-ventilated, and comfortable, and the price is usually quite good too.
GGuest UserThe location is far from the MTR (subway). You have to take a shuttle bus or a regular bus, and getting to other places requires multiple transfers; there's no direct route. This might be inconvenient for tourists traveling into the city as it involves several changes of transport. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas. The front desk service is good, friendly, and helpful. However, the housekeeping staff was good for the first two nights, but on the last night, they didn't clea3n the room despite the sign clearly hung outside requesting cleaning.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: The room was small but had everything I needed, making me feel very secure! I really liked it.
Hygiene: Very clean, satisfied.
Environment: The hotel's interior is beautifully decorated, and there's a lounge area next to the front desk where you can enjoy free coffee. It's also a very quick walk to Prince Edward MTR station.
Service: The service was excellent, not at all unfriendly towards guests as some negative reviews claimed. I was a bit worried after seeing those bad reviews before coming, but it turns out the front desk staff were very nice and patient.
GGuest UserExcellent stay! The front desk lady was incredibly helpful; she saw us with large luggage and proactively offered to assist. We even left a necklace behind when checking out, and she kindly left a note to remind us. The room was compact but well-equipped. Most importantly, the hotel's location is fantastic – a mere 200 meters from the subway station. Downstairs, the area is bustling with snack shops, a McDonald's, and local 'bing sutt' style cafes. The price is reasonable, and unlike some older tenement buildings, the hotel isn't rundown. The corridors were also quite clean and well-maintained. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator, but that was manageable. Overall, a very pleasant two-night stay. I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit because it's such great value for money, especially at just over HKD 300 per night during the August peak season. I genuinely recommend it to anyone on a budget!
BBOSS_liuBeyond expectations, truly satisfied! First off, the location is great – not far from the city center, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. If you don't want to take a mini-bus, the 42A will take you directly to Mong Kok. Secondly, the room facilities are very clean. It's small but has everything you need, and you can even see Central in the distance from the room. Downstairs there's a large pier. The front desk staff were also very thoughtful; communication in Mandarin was seamless, and their attitude was excellent. This hotel hosts people from many different countries, and there's a small mall on the basement level, making grocery shopping and dining very convenient. This is my second time in Hong Kong, and I'm very happy with my stay here! 👍🏻
