Chongqing Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Good location, services, very clean bed, great hospitality, the rooftop yields the best view for Shibati. Easy access to major tourist checkpoints. During my recent trip to Chongqing, I stayed at the Intercity Hotel near Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, and overall, my experience was very comfortable. The location is genuinely excellent, right by Jiefangbei, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Attractions like Shibati, Hongyadong, and the Yangtze River Cableway are all within walking distance, saving me the hassle of constantly taking taxis – a huge plus for tourists. There are also plenty of dining options nearby; you can easily find a good hotpot or Chongqing noodle place. The hotel lobby and rooms are decorated in a simple yet aesthetically pleasing style – not overly lavish but very comfortable. The room amenities are comprehensive, including toiletries, and the cleanliness is impeccable; the floors and bedding were spotless, which gave me peace of mind. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, offering both German-style bread and coffee, as well as local flavors like Chongqing noodles, catering to different tastes. The biggest bonus is the top floor, which features an infinity pool and an observation deck. The night view of Shibati from up there is particularly stunning, with layers of lights truly capturing the essence of a mountain city. There's also a small bar nearby, making it a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the breeze. The staff were all very friendly and responsive to any issues, and housekeeping was prompt. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing."

"Our whole family was really happy with our stay this time! The hotel staff, especially the customer service guy, was so friendly and proactive. He helped us with our luggage and gave us great recommendations for local food and sights, which was really helpful. The room size was perfect, and we had a beautiful view of the river – the scenery was just lovely. The room was also very clean and was tidied up every day. This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Chongqing!"

"Our temporary home for a three-day trip to Chongqing, and overall, we were extremely satisfied. First off, the location is superb, right inside the Shibati scenic area, at the foot of the old architectural complex. From the window, you can enjoy the views of Shibati, especially the beautiful nightscapes. We couldn't help but linger at the window for a bit longer before leaving, trying to etch the view into our memory. The rooftop terrace is a world unto itself, offering panoramic views of the Nanjimen Bridge, especially stunning during the 'blue hour'. Secondly, the building itself is very distinctive. We were told it's an ancient structure dating back to 1864, and the decor is full of character. We booked a family room with a 1.8m king-sized bed and a 1.5m tatami mat in a small loft, which was very comfortable for a family. All the facilities are new, the shower pressure is excellent with precise temperature control, and thoughtful touches like a smart toilet, heated towel rail, and Laifen hairdryer really show the hotel's attention to detail. Finally, the hotel staff are all incredibly enthusiastic. The front desk attendant warmly introduced us to the hotel and greeted us enthusiastically every time we left and returned, which was very heartwarming and truly made us feel at home. One suggestion: while the breakfast set menu is very refined, it's exactly the same every day. After a while, it can get a bit monotonous, so perhaps some variety in the meal offerings would be appreciated."

"Wonderful hotel with a wonderful swimming pool, perfect Place for visiting Chongqing in Summer. The hotel Is inside ciqikou Village in a green area, Little far from the center Town but very close to the metro station and easily reachable by taxi. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Top!"

"The hotel has a wonderful garden-style environment with lush greenery all around, which is very pleasant to look at. The rooms have small dryers, perfect for drying small clothes, which is very convenient. There are also robots that deliver takeaways right to your room. The front desk service is excellent too, really great."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are excellent, and the rooms are well-equipped, primarily focusing on hot springs. The water quality is very good, and you can adjust the hot spring temperature yourself. You can soak 24 hours a day, and privacy is also good. After soaking, you can also enjoy a massage or spa. Hygiene: Everything was very clean. The villa renovation was well done. Environment: The overall hotel environment is great, with duplex rooms. The surrounding area has complete amenities and is a small commercial district, so delivery services are very convenient. The only slight drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear people moving up and down the stairs next door. Service: The service is excellent; they are very responsive and always help guests with any issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

I have to highlight the bedding in the room – it felt incredibly soft and skin-friendly, making for a super comfortable sleep. After visiting the Three Natural Bridges, we returned to the guesthouse with enough time to enjoy the courtyard. There were pleasant surprises everywhere – the flowers in the lounge area, the swing, and the scenery all exuded beauty. The breakfast on the second day was also delicious; the noodles were even better than those at the visitor center. Finally, the service was excellent. "A truly delightful stay. 🌸 I had a beautiful sprig of snowball viburnum, and as I trimmed its leaves and arranged it, I felt like I was coaxing the very essence of spring into a simple, unadorned vase. It was perfect timing, as I had just received this year's Pre-Qingming tea and brewed a pot. Amidst the tea's gentle steam, even the white porcelain cup seemed to borrow the viburnum's delicate greenish-white hue. Bathed in the afternoon sun, these flowers and tea framed a moment of gentle serenity, like a perfectly composed grid. This, I believe, is the true poetry of life: transforming serendipitous gifts into fragrant, cherished daily rituals."
