"The property is nice but the location isn’t that great. If location is important to you please choose gostops Tapovan. This one’s surroundings aren’t quite clean from outside nor is it v reachable. The staff is very nice and helpful though. I ended up forgetting some of my belongings at the room which they safely kept and handed over to the courier guy two days after my stay. The rooms and washrooms are clean with good space, spacious terrace and common rooms. They should start planning some group activities though which can help solo travellers connect with EO better may be like some musical experience or games. "
GGuest UserThis was the fifth hotel I stayed in, in this current trip to India, and it was by bfar the least satisfactory. Truth be told, it was the cheapest, too, but I did not choose it solely for the price; it had a lot of great reviews. The day I arrived I was chocked, because it looked run down: paint coming off the bedroom walls, stained walls and floors on the bathroom, stained towels and bed sheets. I believe the towels and bed sheets were clean, but they looked dirty from the stains. Most serious hotels would have discarded them. In fact, this hotel feels more like a hostel (a run-down hostel). I couldn't believe that it had so many positive reviews on Trip.com. Lots of people giving it a ten! Crazy! And very suspicious! I should have read the negative reviews more carefully, because all the warning signs were there. Anyway, I can't in good conscience reccomend this hotel, and I feel bad for the staff, because they were friendly enough. The owners should make major investments in renovation. Finally, I shouldn't forget to mention that the bedroom had a door window, but with no view, except for the wall of the building next door. So, no view and no sunshine getting into the room. The location is good, as far as the attractions are concerned, but the hotel street is very noisy. If you go, ask for a room away from the front.
GGuest UserWe stayed at Spellmount Hotel during our family trip to Kausani, and it truly cast a spell on us. The panoramic views of the Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Panchachuli peaks from the room balcony were simply breathtaking, the kind of vista that makes you pause and just take it all in.
The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortably warm for the hill station weather. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. They helped us with fantastic local recommendations that made us feel right at home. They also have interconnected rooms for families and that was a hit for my daughter.
The location is ideal, peaceful and away from the main road bustle, yet close enough to explore Kausani's tea gardens and viewpoints. Mornings here, with a cup of tea and that uninterrupted mountain panorama, are worth the entire trip.
We travelled as a multi-generational family including elderly parents and a young child, and the hotel made it comfortable for everyone. If you're looking for a serene Kumaon getaway with stunning views and heartfelt hospitality, Spellmount is an excellent choice.
TTricia2267Incredible service and hospitality. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
My room was bright and clean and comfortable. I needed a quiet room and the manager, Manglesh, was incredibly accommodating.
Every day he made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.
Breakfast is great with lots of options, including fresh fruit. The servers were all friendly and helpful especially Aman who was great at remembering my order.
I also had lunch at the restaurant and the customer service was just incredible. Aman and the manager took really great care of me.
The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping were also wonderfully helpful. (As a woman traveling alone, I am always quite pleased when there is a woman who can help me too. Many thanks to Kiran for her cheerful service.) The GM was available too and kindly willing to helpu if I needed anything.

It is a great hotel with a great location (right next to Parmarth Ashram and very near the Beatles ashram) and the staff make the experience truly wonderful.
GGuest Usermy stay was exceptional 😀 love the setup of this cottage. it's right in the lap of nature and if offers breathtaking views. anyone looking for a quite time in the serenity can book this place and it won't disappoint you. kudos to the staff members they were extremely helpful and made my stay comfortable. 5 star to the service guy. definitely looking forward to stay in future . cheers
GGuest UserLocated in the Haridwar station vicinity enabling easy access to all transport system and near market. However, basic facilities for toiletries were missing whatsoever were supposed to be available on de***d. On asking for the same, the attendant and receptionist/in-charge says ”guests in all three rooms are from the same family, so you can share available toiletries”. Such unprofessional and ridiculous attitude was surely out of my expectation and very much shocking.
Next morning, waiting time for payment of dinner bill was also as awful as their behaviour. No one was available in the reception desk and no support service to attend guests.
IImy619A Peaceful Stay with Stunning Views
We stayed at Hotel Azul Ganga for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is in a great location, close to the action yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The highlight for us was the beautiful rooftop view—perfect for soaking in the serene vibes of Rishikesh.
The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and delicious options that set us up for the day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a relaxing stay.
Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Rishikesh. Highly recommended!
KKapil KanePerfect location if you are being picked up for the hike up in the Himalayas. I had booked a king room with air con. Turns out air con only blows cold air and not hot air. Was a bit disappointed. But, it wasn’t that cold for an early Jan winter.
