Truly, we have so many sweet and unforgetable memories during our stay in Pan Pacific Hotel Suchou. We booked ”Family Two Bedrooms” for 4 of us & this room was the best family room we ever had. This room has 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms and a mini kitchen with refridgerator, microwave and sink that made our in-room experience was very comfortable. The housekeeping was also very kind plus their excellent services to mention. We remember this Ms. Xia Ning, a room attendant, who left a beautiful postcard in our room with her heartful and warm greetings with her own handwritings to make sure we had comfortable stay and satisfied. We are surely touched by her beyond service.
The hotel's breakfast was one of the best with so various dishes and all were delicious. Some food were resembling the famous and delicate Chinese cuisines.
We fully enjoyed Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel's Panmen Scenic Area. The scenes of their large beautiful garden at noon and at night was unforgetable. We had a chance to try Chinese traditional clothings from Wu Palace Hanfu Experience Center (with Ms. Yichen's generous assistance) and also one-hour cheongsam experience (for women) that helped us to take many beautiful memorable photos. Other hotel's enjoyable benefits include Suzhou Memories-Wu Palace Historical, Collection of Passport Documents for Wu Palace, Tai Chi Experience, CNY 100 SPA voucher at Jialiya Spa & Free self-service laundry and drying. It surely gave us worth time to spent in the hotel. Our sweet 5-star experience with Pan Pacific Suzhou Hotel this time surely will make us to come back to this great hotel in our next visit to Suzhou.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just three subway stops from Nanjing Railway Station, and then a short 300-meter walk from the subway exit. Getting to nearby attractions is also very easy. The room was spacious, and the view of Xuanwu Lake from outside our room was absolutely stunning. They even provided a complimentary afternoon tea that was not only beautiful but also quite tasty. When we checked out, they kindly extended our checkout time to 3:00 PM and gave us a parting gift of body lotion and a FUFU plush toy. The breakfast spread was also incredibly rich and varied. We also had a dedicated butler service; whenever we ordered takeout, our butler Alice would promptly deliver it to our room, much faster than any robot could. Alice was also very thoughtful, sending us numerous travel guides and food recommendations. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended!

The day before my stay, the butler proactively contacted me to confirm my booking, and that's when I realized I had booked the wrong room. The butler quickly helped me sort it out, which I really appreciated. When we arrived, it was a bit cold, and the hotel promptly brought us a heater, which was a great help. Swimming at night felt amazing with the whole pool to myself. There's a shallow pool, but the water temperature is the same as the adult pool, so it's not ideal for very young children. There's a piano performance in the lobby in the evenings. The kids' play area is free for guests, but it closes a bit too early. The complimentary travel photography was excellent, with no aggressive sales pitches. There were quite a few foreigners in the Western restaurant.

This hotel stay was absolutely perfect for my trip! The hotel is surrounded by a fantastic array of restaurants and entertainment options. Right downstairs, there's a bustling food street, and in the evenings, you can explore a lively night market. The hotel facilities are top-notch; the central air conditioning and smart toilet were incredibly comfortable to use. I especially appreciated the flexible breakfast hours, allowing me to sleep in and enjoy my meal at my own pace without having to rush – truly a superb experience all around.

As a five-star hotel, this was truly one of the most disappointing I've ever stayed in. I had stayed at an InterContinental the day before, thinking I'd try something different. In the end, I found that for the same price, the two hotels were two stars apart in every aspect.
Firstly, the location is quite far from all the attractions, which is inconvenient. The downstairs restaurant even closed at 9 PM.
Secondly, the elevators were incredibly slow, and you had to transfer once in the middle. It took 15 minutes for a robot to deliver my takeaway to the room.
Thirdly, there was no signal in the room upon check-in, not even 5G. I couldn't connect to the internet, and an engineer had to come fix it. After I checked in, the shower room was completely flooded.
The 180-degree view from the room faced an office building, which was so close you could see everything clearly.
The service manager was quite good and proactively offered complimentary breakfast. Haha, good thing it wasn't paid for! The entire breakfast buffet was vegetarian. I couldn't even find minced meat at the hot food or noodle stations. Are they that broke? I ate one egg and left. If I had paid for this, I would have been furious 🤬.

Staying at Yangzhou Yingbinguan, I felt the full romance of a spring day in Jiangnan ✨.
I took my mom on a trip to Yangzhou and was instantly smitten with Yangzhou Yingbinguan! From check-in to check-out, every detail perfectly hit the mark for aesthetics and comfort. Half of the joy of this trip came from this amazing hotel!
🏡 Living in a Jiangnan Garden, every step is a poem.
The entire complex is a massive traditional Chinese garden, with pavilions, towers, small bridges over flowing water, and rockeries. In spring, cherry blossoms and crabapples are in full bloom, and black swans gracefully swim on the lake. Even the air is filled with the fragrant scent of plants and trees.
We stayed in Building 11, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome gifts: 'Mi San Dao', 'Xiao Mabing', and 'Niupi Tang' from Qilin Pavilion, along with specialty pastries embossed with 'Yangzhou'. The room facilities were also very new.
Shuttle carts were available on call throughout the park, making it super convenient to get from our room to Quyuan or other places. It was so thoughtful for traveling with seniors, as they didn't have to walk too much!
📸 Hanfu Styling, bringing the spring vibe to life.
The package included a Hanfu photoshoot, located on the first floor of Building 11. There were dozens of Hanfu styles, and the free options were quite good. If you preferred, paid options were an additional 100 RMB.
We also added makeup and styling for 100 RMB per person. The makeup artist was excellent; even with many guests waiting, she was very dedicated. The photographer was also great, skilled at guiding poses. My mom's photos turned out gentle and elegant! We received 5 free lightly retouched photos, and additional retouches were only 20 RMB/photo, which was good value for money.
🍜 Quyuan, a Black Pearl Restaurant.
Quyuan Teahouse, a Black Pearl 1-diamond restaurant, is conveniently located right within Yingbinguan, meaning you don't have to leave the hotel to experience it! It does get very busy, so it's a good idea to get a number in advance and then explore nearby. The hotel's own breakfast was also excellent.
🚶♀️ Direct Access to Slender West Lake, no queuing is a blessing!
On the second day, to visit Slender West Lake, the hotel has an exclusive fast lane! No need to wait in long queues at the scenic area entrance; you can enter directly from the hotel grounds. This was truly stress-free for traveling with seniors (normal admission tickets are still required).
The hotel garden seamlessly connects to Slender West Lake. In spring, Slender West Lake is vibrant with green willows and colorful flowers, with beautiful scenery at every turn.
🎭 Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater, an immersive experience of Yangzhou folk customs.
During the holidays, the hotel arranged an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater', which truly amazed us! Yangzhou puppet shows, Yangzhou Qingqu opera, and Yangzhou Pinghua storytelling were performed in rotation. The performers were all professional, and acts like puppet calligraphy and pipa serenades were full of Yangzhou charm.
This trip to Yangzhou, Yangzhou Yingbinguan truly gave us so many surprises. From the garden landscape and thoughtful service to the delicious food and intangible cultural heritage experiences, all the beauty of Yangzhou was concentrated here.
When traveling with your mom, choosing the right hotel is so important! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will definitely stay here again!

Extremely satisfied with this relaxing getaway! The environment is exceptionally serene, and the outdoor landscaping and water features are very elegant. You could easily stay around the hotel without feeling bored. Nearby, there's Langshan Scenic Area and Binjiang Park, both within walking distance, making it perfect for a leisurely holiday or a wellness retreat.
Membership offers a lot of discounts, including on dining. When I added breakfast separately, the hotel automatically applied a discount, which was very generous.
The dining prices are all very reasonable, and the food is delicious.
The front desk and concierge staff, both the young men and women, provided excellent service, offering friendly reminders about various things. Elise from guest relations was also wonderful; she called a day in advance and noted a room upgrade, and when I arrived, the front desk already had it arranged.
I'll definitely be coming back here for future Chinese New Year holidays.

The hotel is conveniently located near Exit B20 of Sanyang Plaza on Metro Line 1, offering direct access to Wuxi Station. The room, advertised as a mountain view, was more of a city view, as there wasn't really any mountain visible. The soundproofing was incredibly poor; the guests next door were chattering loudly past 11 PM, making it impossible to sleep. I had to knock on the wall to get some quiet. The service, however, was excellent! Especially the housekeeping staff who proactively left extra bottles of water every day, which was a very nice touch. The breakfast was good, and the soup dumplings were delicious.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday and had such a great experience. They upgraded me to a suite, which was clean, beautiful and incredibly spacious. When I arrived, they had a thoughtful birthday setup waiting for me, complete with a cake and a sweet “Happy Birthday” display, which I truly appreciated. They also gave me lovely souvenirs from the city, which was such a nice touch.
The staff were warm, helpful and always ready to assist. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of Western options. The view from the room was amazing and made the stay even more special. The location is also very convenient, right next to a plaza with plenty of food options to choose from. I would absolutely stay here again.

GGuest UserOverall, it was okay. The room size was pretty average, and the facilities were a bit basic. However, for the price, the value for money was decent. Parking was a bit inconvenient; the basement parking lot was small, though its proximity was fine. One really big issue is that you absolutely shouldn't stay in the northernmost rooms on weekdays. There's a kindergarten right downstairs, and they start blasting music through loudspeakers early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep in. 🌚 But I really have to praise the breakfast – for a hotel in this price range, it was excellent.

GGuest UserThe Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou was the most delightful surprise of our trip.
The hotel's design has a distinctive character. Our room was elegant, clean, and comfortable, and I particularly loved the balcony overlooking the garden. During the day, the red maples contrasted beautifully with the white walls, and lush greenery framed the windows, capturing the serene essence of a Jiangnan garden. As night fell, the courtyard lights illuminated, and tree shadows danced on the water, adding a touch of peaceful mystery to the daytime elegance.
Grabbing a complimentary beer from the fridge, I leaned against the railing, feeling the evening breeze whisper through the trees – a moment of pure, springtime relaxation.
The dining experience was equally enjoyable. The breakfast's spicy oil noodles and mixed noodles were incredibly flavorful, and my family couldn't stop raving about the wontons. I, however, was particularly fond of the Italian coffee at the bar; one sip brought a wonderful warmth. Upon arrival, the Happy Hour at the 168 Pavilion Bar offered a relaxed setting with excellent food and drinks.
Even more impressive was the warmth of the staff. Every attendant was kind and soft-spoken. We encountered a minor issue during our stay, but the young lady assisting us resolved it with such thoughtful and meticulous care that we were truly touched. Coincidentally meeting Kelly, the hotel's adopted Labrador, upon check-out, further reinforced the feeling that this elegant space held a gentle, heartwarming charm.
The appeal of Bamboo Grove extends beyond its design and scenery; it seamlessly weaves the elegance and comforting warmth of Jiangnan into every single detail.

JjenniferfangThis trip was a family outing. I brought my in-laws to Suzhou to celebrate their birthday a bit early, so I specifically looked for a historic building with a Suzhou garden style. I booked three rooms and contacted the hotel to arrange two ground-floor rooms with courtyards. The hotel even thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake for my mother and offered turn-down service with a light soup in the evening. The restaurant was also good. We initially considered dining there on the first night but weren't sure about the dishes. After breakfast the next day, we decisively had lunch at the restaurant, and both elders thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel's arrangements for coming and going were also very well-managed. This trip's food and accommodation were both excellent. A truly great hotel!

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!
CChisuishibaiqiThe hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Jiangbei New Area, right next to Sands Ocean Outlet, making shopping and leisure easily accessible on foot. Despite being in a bustling area, its layout ensures a peaceful environment, shielding guests from the noise. Getting to the Youth Olympic Sports Park or enjoying the river views from the Fifth Yangtze River Bridge is also incredibly smooth.
What truly leaves a lasting impression is the service, as precise and elegant as a Swiss watch. A special thanks to Xiao Guo and the front desk team for always remembering the preferences of regular guests. A warm greeting during check-in or a timely room upgrade demonstrates a level of attentiveness that goes beyond mere procedures. The Swissôtel Nanjing, with its consistent high standards and personalized warmth, truly embodies the art of hospitality. I look forward to experiencing this reliable 'Swiss' elegance again on my next visit.
GGuest UserParent-child travel, mainly in hotels, housekeeper Xiaoyu contacted and communicated in advance, followed up the service, the service was in place, there were small gifts for check-in, and toys were given before leaving. The upgraded lake view room was very comfortable, but the double bed was a bit small, and it was a bit crowded to sleep with the child. The hotel had an event on May 1st, and missed the event on the 1st. The housekeeper can remind parents with children of such activities. Parent-child travel in a resort hotel is nothing more than being tired of going out to play, and wanting to complete all activities in the hotel~ The little train is too old and the children don’t get dizzy. The Hanfu experience seems to be all women’s clothing, there is nothing suitable for children, and there is no reservation for use. The shuttle bus service to the ancient town was not used. I stayed for 2 nights and drove to Wu Yue Rong Ji on the second night. There were many people. I lined up online in advance. It was my turn before I waited for a while. I ate too much at the hotel buffet at noon and couldn’t eat at night. I didn’t order any dishes to feel the atmosphere. I walked around for a while, and the ice jelly bought by the hotel was delicious.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located within the Metro Lux Center, so security is generally good. If you order takeout, it's delivered to the ground floor and distributed by staff. The decor is quite stylish and photogenic. Every evening, they bring a complimentary wellness dessert, which, while not amazing, is a thoughtful touch.
However, despite its good looks, the hotel has some significant drawbacks:
1. **Poor soundproofing.** My room was directly opposite the elevator, and I could clearly hear people talking outside in the mornings, making it impossible to sleep.
2. **Facilities don't match the price.** The stoppers for both the bathtub and sink were problematic. The bathtub stopper, in particular, wouldn't pop back up or drain properly. When I wanted to take a bath around 11 PM and discovered the issue, I brought it to the staff's attention. Their solution was to suggest I use the bathroom in the next room or ”move rooms.” I don't understand how a new and relatively expensive hotel could have such basic issues. It completely ruined my mood.
