Hotels in Mapo-gu,Seoul
The Seoul Garden Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Seoul Garden Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Seoul. With Yongsan Station just 2km away and Gimpo International Airport only 13km away, transportation is very convenient. The closest major public transportation, Mapo Metro Station, is only 300m away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Yeouido, Yeouido Hangang Park and Seoul Cruise all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Guests of this Seoul hotel can make use of the parking facilities. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.

"Recommended place: The location is excellent, with two subway lines nearby. However, Gaode Maps doesn't show the exits clearly, and it's particularly tricky to find the right exit when coming from the airport line. It's actually more convenient and closer to take the subway one more stop to Mapo Station on Line 5. It's very easy to get to places like Hongdae and Gwangjang Market by subway. Walking to the nearby Gongdeok market takes about ten minutes. Most restaurants open quite late. The area is bustling, with many restaurants and 24-hour convenience stores nearby, including quite a few trendy spots. There's a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese. I noticed many Chinese guests staying here. The service is average; perhaps they don't encourage eating in the rooms as they don't provide cutlery. If you buy food, remember to ask the store for disposable utensils. The bed is quite large. The cleanliness and quality of the bedding are average. Nowadays, all Korean hotels don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so remember to bring your own or buy them at a convenience store. If you're out exploring all day and just need a place to sleep and eat at night, it's a decent option."

"The hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance to Myeongdong and Gwangjang Market, and both subway and bus stations are very convenient. There are also many convenience stores downstairs like CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven. Hygiene: Although the hotel is a bit old, it was very comfortable to stay in. The room was quite spacious, with a separate toilet area and even a balcony. It was exceptionally clean. The water dispenser and ice machine in the hallway were a huge plus. What's more, you need to swipe your card not only for the elevator but also for the hallway, and then again to enter your room, which made me feel much safer. The only slight inconvenience was having to stand in the bathtub to shower. Service: The hotel staff were all incredibly enthusiastic, whether it was during check-in, recommending local eateries, or helping to turn on the iron. Highly recommended!"

"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people. One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing. The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city. Travel Tip: From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul."

Hotel near Gangnam,Seoul
The Hotel Soulhada provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Seoul will find that the Hotel Soulhada is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Oksu Station Station just 5km away and Gimpo International Airport only 22km away, transportation is very convenient. Just a short walk from Yeoksam Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Seolleung and Jeongneung Royal Tombs, 강남게임학원 SBS아카데미게임학원 강남점 and Gangnam Finance Center. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The hotel is pretty old and the room had a very strong cigarette stench and it remained in the ventilation throughout the whole trip despite airing the room. No tooth brush and tooth paste provided so bring your own or pay for it. The towels in the room had the cigarette stench but new towels were clean. The room did not feel very clean though the bed was clean and very comfortable. The lights sensor is odd though, going off after some time by itself while I am bathing or using it and had to go and on it again. The room itself is big."

Five-star experience! Highly flexible front desk and perfect location! The service quality here is absolutely top-notch. I had a special reason that required an early check-in, and the front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and flexible in handling my request, making my arrival stress-free. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Moreover, the location is superb and extremely convenient for shopping and exploring. I cannot praise the front desk team enough for their professional and warm attitude. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit!

The location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

This was a great place for a solo traveler! The location was perfect, right in front of DDP. It's in a multi-use building, so it might take a little searching to find it. Opening the entrance requires a touch panel, which might seem a bit tricky at first, but it's not difficult at all. The shower and toilet are in the same area with no partition, which some might dislike, but it's manageable if you don't mind things getting a little wet (lol). They provided a toothbrush and two bottles of water. The hairdryer was a Dyson. Even with the AC on, the room still felt a bit warm. My room was on a different floor than the check-in, but the lower floor had amenities like a microwave and coffee, and it seemed like the kitchen and other facilities were freely available for use!

The hotel surroundings are nice, and the front desk staff speak basic English. On the first day, I found a midge on the curtains, but otherwise, the cleanliness was acceptable, and there was no drain smell from the bathroom. Disposable slippers were provided, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Everything in the minibar, except for water, was chargeable. I booked a hotel in Gangnam because I was attending a concert at KSPO Dome. Pros: After the concert, it was usually easy to find a seat on the Express Line 9, and I could quickly reach Bongeunsa Station. There aren't many restaurants on the way back to the hotel, but there are several convenience stores. Cons: The walk from Bongeunsa Station to the hotel is really, really far, and you have to climb a gentle slope before descending! Cheongdam Station is about half the distance, but coming from Olympic Park, you'd need to transfer from Line 5 to Line 7, and Line 5 is usually much more crowded after events. Additionally, I had extended my stay through Trip.com before check-in, but the front desk initially thought I had only booked one night. After some communication, they found the extension order and processed it. However, on the second night, my room card stopped working and needed to be re-authorized. I hope the platform and the hotel can improve this issue.

We stayed at the Acube Hotel Dongdaemun during a recent layover, and it turned out to be an excellent, fuss-free choice for a short stopover in Seoul. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was incredibly quick and efficient, which we highly appreciated after a tiring flight. The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind and recharge. Additionally, the location is very convenient for exploring; it is situated just 1.5 kilometers from Myeongdong Street and its famous night market, making it easy to pop out for some world-class street food and shopping without wasting time in transit. Overall, it is a highly recommended spot for anyone looking for a seamless, comfortable, and well-located stay.

The biggest highlight is definitely the location — it’s super convenient, close to Gangnam’s main areas, restaurants, cafés, shopping, and public transportation. It made getting around Seoul really easy. The only downside is that the room is quite small, especially if you have large luggage or are staying for several nights. There isn’t much space to fully open suitcases comfortably.

Location is perfect! 2 minutes walking distance to seonyudo station and there’s A LOT of coffee shop, especially internationa famous Starbucks just next door. English speakers are available but maybe they could be more friendly in attending guests. However, rooms are beautiful and clean. Housekeeper were very friendly and helped with things we requested! Overall stay was wonderful~ Will stay again when i visit seoul next time.

We stayed here as a group of three, and honestly, it exceeded expectations. The location is excellent – just a 10-minute walk to the main Myeongdong shopping area. There’s also a famous beef stew restaurant right near the hotel (so convenient after a long day out). From our balcony, we could see the entrance to Namdaemun – a nice unexpected touch. The room itself came with a washing machine and a dry iron machine, which made packing light so easy. Water was provided, and there’s a self-service laundry and gym on another floor. The reception was super helpful and check-in was very quick. Yes, the hotel looks basic from the outside, but everything inside made it totally worth it. For three people sharing, having those in-room amenities was a game changer. Highly recommend for budget-conscious travellers who want space, convenience, and a great location.

This hotel was lovely. It's about a 12 minute walk from all the shopping in Myeongdong, and it's not a bad walk to the cable car to Namsan tower. The subway is also conviently located as well as the bus to the airport. The staff was wonderful and super helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby after we checked out, and there's a scale to weigh your bag, too. Also, a cute rooftop deck with tables. There's a convenience store across the street, and I think it's open 24 hours. The room didn't have a microwave, so we used that one. The room does have a mini fridge and electric kettle. Even though our room was near the elevator, it was super quiet. My only problem was it was a little too quiet. Even with the air conditioner on, there was no fan sound, so if you like white noise at night be aware. The curtains worked well. The door had two locks, and every floor and the rooftop were only accessible with your room key. Very safe. 10/10 recommend

Stayed with 2 adults and 2 children. The kids absolutely loved having a table for breakfast and a bathtub in the room. What truly stood out was being able to communicate with the staff via LINE; they were incredibly quick to respond when the TV stopped working at night. The Japanese female staff member who checked us in was also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. *Due to the room layout, it was a bit difficult to fully open our suitcases.
