The hotel has direct view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, cozy vibes, and a location perfect for adventure. Whether it is want café hopping or sunrise mountain shots. Getting to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a breeze, making it an ideal base for early start hikes or sunset chasing! The rooms are spacious and modern, decked out with smart amenities, plush bedding, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful when i mentioned that i was experiencing altitude sickness, providing me with warm tea and oxygen cans. Hotel also owns a dog called San Jin; he's a favorite among guests

We stayed in Stone Lodge for 3 nights in the middle of December. Let us talk about the good things first. 1. Snow Mountain View rooms can see 日照金山from bed. 2. Location is good for going to snow mountain. It takes around 20min to reach visitor centre of snow mountain. 3. Service is very good. U can ask for anything and they will provide for example bubble wrap to pack our fragile shopping. There’s also free laundry service. 4. Good for those who like the activities included in the room package. We did the Naxi home visit, horse riding and art and craft diy and enjoyed them very much. We like the afternoon tea provided too. And we can have coffee and fruits as much as we want. Now some points to note. 1. Room is a bit small for 3 of us. The toilet is like a shower cubicle that opens into the room. We only discovered the ventilation switch im the middle of the stay and was wondering why the cubicle is so stuffy, not to mention the smell. With the ventilation on, the problems are solved. The shower cubicle is opposite with the sink in between them. All open into the room with no partition around the bathroom area. The walls of the toilet and shower cubicles are frosted glass and is acceptable for me and my daughters, all ladies. 2. The village is very small. Not much to see. We went to a cafe popular on internet that can take photo on the roof with the snow mountain in the background. The drinks are ok but the pasta is not nice. Maybe that’s why this restaurant is not in the recommended list of the hotel. We did not explore the village much but from what I see, it’s just 1 short street. 3. Ask for a 3rd floor room. It has a sky roof over the bed and we can see stars when we turn off all the lights in the room. Overall, we did not regret our decision to stay here in the Stone Lodge. If the activities were not included in the package, we would not have experienced them at all.

Before our arrival, the staff kindly requested that we inform them 10 minutes in advance so they could help transport our luggage from the roadside to the lobby — a thoughtful gesture, especially since the path is uneven and makes rolling luggage nearly impossible. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in a two-bedder unit for 3 pax (can fit up to 4 pax). Both beds were queen-sized and very comfortable. The bathroom had a Japanese-style toilet (which I absolutely loved), and the shower area included a bathtub — definite bonus points! Breakfast was provided each morning, with simple but satisfying options like 米线 or egg and ham toast. Extra perks: the homestay is also home to two friendly munchkin cats, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re a coffee lover, I highly recommend visiting Forest Coffee Bean shop nearby — the staff is incredibly helpful in finding beans that match your taste. The coffee there was truly one of a kind.

Excellent service. They contacted several days in advance to help arrange pick up and activities especially since tickets to the Yulong mountain glacier park need to be booked in advance. Hosts were very hospitable and helped us with our every day needs and trip planning. Carried our luggage through the ancient city to which the hotel is located in. Convenient for exploring at night. Rooms were clean with a modern aesthetic. Beautiful view of the city from the hote. Breakfast was abundant with a set meal of noodles, congee and sides. Overall great stay with great personalised service. Thank you

Beautiful place to stay! It’s located in Yuhu Village, personally I feel this village is the most prettiest village in Lijiang. It’s also very exclusive because you need to be confirmed to be able to enter the village. It’s perfect for those who like peaceful village. There are some shops and restaurants, not too many, they are still building them, but the good thing is it is clean and not too crowded. Pauline itself is magnificent! From the room to the front desk. Room is clean, spacious, and modern! Not to mention the mountain view from the balcony. The front desk people are super helpful. They help with luggages, laundry and all my needs! I would definetely come back to stay here when I’m in Lijiang. Lastly, don’t worry, easy to grab Didi to take you anywhere. Also, the rooftop coffee shop is very scenic and close!

Excellent place for a family retreat. Located in a quiet alley yet steps away from the bustling main street, Guan Xin offers great accommodation and personal attention to our needs. The rooms are well designed and spacious. We only have good things to say after staying here for 3 nights for a family outing for 11 pax. I am Delightfully Amazed by this renowned famous Banyan Tree Hotel. It is such a Beautifully Constructed Hotel with West Lake like Environment surrounding with Villas giving you a Big Beautiful Chinese style Garden Ambience. I am lucky to get a Free Upgrade to a Villa with Swimming Pools and Jade Dragon Mountain View right in front of Bedroom with a Garden (many thanks to their front office staffs). What impressed me the Most is all their Staffs are so Well Trained on All the Details Focusing on giving you the Best Services that Anyone would ask for. 5 Stars to their Top Management Direction, Management Implementation, All Ground Staffs Dedication to giving World Class Services. Their Restaurant Foods Quality is also very Good and at very Reasonable Pricing for a 5 Stars Restaurant. Do get their Restaurant Breakfast Package which is really Worth it for their Variety and Good Quality Foods. I will highly Recommend this Hotel for anyone that is Visiting Lijiang as even their Location is Perfect at the Middle of the 3 ancient towns so traveling around is within 10-25mins and away from the noisy busy ancient towns. It's my first time spending so much time and efforts to give this honest review because i simply think the Whole Banyan Tree Team deserves it. Impressed, Amazing, Enjoyable, Enchanting, Great Experience, It's a Only Hotel that I will Stay in Lijiang (i cancelled other hotel and extended another 2 more days in Banyan Tree)
