Dear Housekeeping Department of HUAQING YUTANG Hotel and all the wonderful staff who have taken such meticulous care of us: Greetings and blessings to you all! As international visitors from Russia, my son and I had the privilege of checking into your esteemed establishment today. As I sit in this room, imbued with an undeniable oriental charm, my heart is filled not only with inexpressible emotion but also with profound awe. Walking through your property feels like stepping into a magnificent Tang Dynasty painting that has been passed down through a thousand years – truly, 'every step is a beautiful scene, every corner is a wonder'! Each pavilion, every bridge and flowing stream is breathtakingly beautiful, leaving us spellbound and enchanted. The joy and pleasure we feel within are simply beyond words. Your hotel's exceptional service, transcending perfection, combined with these exquisite imperial gardens, has utterly captivated us and made our dream of experiencing Chinese culture come true! As a professional tea ceremony artist in Russia dedicated to spreading oriental tea culture, seeing the exquisitely prepared tea set in the room immediately filled my heart with warmth. While I typically use traditional wooden tea trays, I was genuinely amazed to find that your room was equipped with a remarkably beautiful and incredibly rare metal (iron) miniature tea tray! I have never seen such an ingeniously crafted material in Russia. This metal tea tray is perfect for brewing tea; there's no need to worry about it cracking or deforming from prolonged tea soaking, as wooden trays often do. The user experience is incredibly comfortable and elegant. Moreover, its size is designed with exceptional precision, perfectly accommodating two precious pairs of tea cups (including tasting cups and aroma-sniffing cups). To be able to personally brew a pot of fragrant tea with such a sophisticated tea set, which combines modern practicality with classical grandeur, after a tiring journey, truly touched the soul of an international tea connoisseur with your utmost respect for the details of tea ceremony and your impeccable taste. What moved our entire family even more deeply and will remain unforgettable are the unparalleled human touches and care you all provided in every small detail: 1. What truly astonished and delighted us was that your hotel meticulously selected and reserved prime, central VIP seats for us to watch 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' live Tang Dynasty dance drama! Our seats were perfectly aligned with the central axis of the stage, offering a grand and unobstructed view. Tonight, we were able to fully appreciate the awe and romance of this magnificent spectacle from the most perfect and esteemed vantage point. Our hearts were stirred for a long time afterward; it was an unparalleled artistic enjoyment! 2. Upon hearing that my son's sunglasses were accidentally damaged, your team not only showed no hesitation but proactively and incredibly patiently helped him repair them with glue. The summer sun in Xi'an is scorching, and my son is extremely sensitive to light. What you repaired with your own hands was not just a pair of glasses, but you saved his most beautiful, clear memories of this ancient city! 3. Whether it was my request for ice or any other small request, all the staff members responded perfectly every single time with the quickest speed and the most gentle, respectful smiles. 4. When we returned to our room, a little tired after a fulfilling day of intangible cultural heritage experiences, we were greeted by a steaming hot, incredibly delicious bowl of white mushroom imperial porridge. At that moment, a warmth transcending borders struck our hearts, and the fatigue of the journey instantly vanished, replaced by a heart full of warmth. Today, we had the privilege of experiencing two flowing and profoundly rich intangible cultural heritage master classes, truly fulfilling my son's and my dream of experiencing Tang Dynasty culture. Please accept our sincerest and highest gratitude as mother and son! Upon returning to Russia, I will certainly recommend our beautiful photos from HUAQING YUTANG and this dreamlike experience with the utmost praise to all our friends and family. I will also write the most glowing review on international travel platforms.

Xi'an MEILIE Ling (Bell Tower Huimin Street)

This hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Xi'an! We stayed in two other good hotels before this, but Ling Hotel was definitely the most delightful. The hotel is located north of the old city and is a bit hidden, but taking the direct elevator to the 16th-floor lobby for check-in was an absolute revelation. The public areas are wonderfully designed, with great attention to detail and a high-quality feel! The room details were also excellent. The sofa was very comfortable, and the TV was large, though the lighting was a bit dim. The LE LABO toiletries and Dyson hairdryer were definite bonuses. But the biggest surprise was the hotel's rooftop observation deck and swimming pool. The observation deck offers a complete view of the Drum Tower and the central axis, and the pool view is also perfect, especially at night when it's lit up! The most, most, MOST delightful thing was the small gift we received at check-out. They specially carved a small seal for my child! Even though we only stayed for one day, they managed to craft such an exquisite seal. This gift was truly thoughtful. Thank you to all the hotel staff! Thank you for your considerate service! My only minor suggestion is that the breakfast and late-night snack options could be improved.

## Transportation The biggest takeaway from staying here is how convenient it is to get around! The hotel is right in the heart of the ancient city, just a few minutes' walk from the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. It's also very close to Zhonglou Station for Metro Lines 2 and 6, and there are plenty of bus stops right outside. Getting to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda or the Grand Tang Everbright City by taxi only costs about ten yuan. Plus, the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, which is a huge bonus! ## Soundproofing and Comfort I had a very peaceful stay this time. Initially, I was worried it might be noisy at night being in the city center, but the soundproofing is surprisingly good – I slept like a baby. The room type I booked was very spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made it feel bright and airy. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, and they even use deep sleep memory foam pillows. Overall, it was very quiet and comfortable; I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all. ## Service and Facilities Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were incredibly warm and patient. The room had a dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the cleaning was very thorough. What's more, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel provides a laundry room and robot delivery service. There's even free chilled plum juice in the lobby – they really pay attention to the little details.

Listening to the rain outside while soaking in a warm tub indoors – it was incredibly stress-relieving! It's been raining so much lately, I felt like I was about to grow mold. This weekend, I finally got to experience the hot spring getaway I'd been dreaming of. As soon as I opened the door, I was amazed – the room had a beautiful Tang Dynasty-inspired elegance! Wooden window lattices, gauze curtains, a tea ceremony setup, and even the hot tub was tucked away behind bamboo screens. The best part? Outside, it was gently raining. I was soaking in my private, steamy hot spring, with the window cracked open. The cool air, carrying the sound of the rain, drifted in, chilling my face while my body was warm to the core. This is exactly what a rainy day should feel like! The pool water was genuine hot spring water, smooth and silky; my skin felt so much softer after soaking. The room also came with rose petals and aromatherapy scents. After soaking until I had a light sweat, I wrapped myself in a bathrobe and had a hot cup of tea. It felt like all the week's fatigue was washed away by the rain. I have to say, rainy day + private hot spring + ancient aesthetic = triple the healing! If you've been feeling cooped up by the rain lately, ladies, you really should try the joy of 'escaping into your own little world' like this.

The hotel is located within the ancient city walls, offering a quiet retreat despite being centrally located. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Bell and Drum Towers, and there are many Xi'an local snacks nearby. You can also find souvenirs like fridge magnets in the small shops on the surrounding streets, often much cheaper than at tourist spots. The breakfast was clean and delicious, with a good variety of options. The service was warm and attentive. Parking is available downstairs, but you need to ask the front desk to unlock the parking barrier for entry and exit.

Choosing the UrCove by Hyatt for my trip to Xi'an was absolutely the right decision – it truly lives up to its Hyatt sub-brand reputation. When checking in, the two lovely ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful. They answered all my questions, meticulously arranged everything according to my requests left on Trip.com (even changing the welcome fruit to sugar-free cherry tomatoes as requested), and upgraded us to a deluxe room directly because of availability. The lobby on the first floor is spacious, bright, and elegantly decorated. They offer complimentary drinks, and I was particularly happy to see lemon-cucumber water, which is perfect for us elderly folks with diabetes. The room itself was unexpectedly huge! The bedroom, bathroom, and shower room were all exceptionally spacious. The facilities and linens were brand new, and the bathroom amenities were high quality. There were plenty of charging outlets strategically placed to meet various needs. The electric curtains and smart mattress were a godsend for relieving travel fatigue – truly an excellent stay experience. The hallway carpets and wallpaper were spotless, and the incredibly large elevator lobby on our floor was also tastefully decorated (it felt like the biggest elevator lobby I've ever seen in a hotel!). Even the cleaning staff on our floor were very polite, always greeting guests with a smile and a nod. In the evening, the coffee bar on the first floor offered complimentary eight-treasure porridge and small pickles. Beyond all that, the hotel's location is truly exceptional. It's just a 7-minute walk to Beidajie Metro Station (from where you can take the subway directly to Xianyang Airport – it's convenient, less crowded, costs 8 yuan, and takes 1 hour and 25 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the airport shuttle (Zhonglou line) to the Bell Tower Hotel, which costs 25 yuan and takes 1 hour and 10 minutes (allow 1 hour and 20 minutes for the return trip). The surrounding snack streets (popular with both tourists and locals) are simply countless – Muslim Quarter, Xiyang Market, Sajinqiao – all within walking distance. You'll find all the popular, 'insta-famous' snacks there. Getting to attractions, the metro, buses, or shared bikes is incredibly convenient. Next time I'm in Xi'an, I will definitely choose to stay at UrCove by Hyatt again. I highly, highly recommend it!

My first time trying this place, and I thought it was great! I booked the cheapest room, which I think was a 16-person dorm, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a 12-person one. I even extended my stay for another night. The environment inside is quite peaceful. Everyone in the common areas is pretty respectful, except for a few loud shouts during billiards sometimes! Oh, and there were a lot of foreigners, couples mostly, chatting among themselves – it had a nice vibe. Since it was my first time, I wasn't familiar with everything and didn't prepare toiletries. When I went to shower, I even saw two guys coming out of the same stall, which honestly stunned me a bit. However, the privacy in the restrooms and shower rooms is excellent; they're all enclosed. The hot water comes on quickly, the water pressure is strong, and everything is clean. Everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. I mostly kept to myself, though, and didn't really interact with anyone. At one point, a foreigner asked me in English if he could use a stool. I honestly didn't understand anything he said, but I got his meaning and just waved my hand. He must have thought I was refusing him because he started to leave. I was so flustered I couldn't speak, just waving my hands around like fans, trying to convey my meaning. He must have seen my panic and understood, so he moved the stool. Only then could I relax and continue drinking my hot water alone. (I saw the front desk staff, both a guy and a lady, speaking English with the foreigners, and I was so envious! Ugh, I can only read English; I can't understand or speak it. I really need to practice my listening and speaking skills. I'll try my luck again next time.) Overall, I think it's a pretty good place. Oh, and its location is fantastic, right by the Bell Tower. But make sure you exit the correct subway station, or else a directionally challenged person like me will spend almost an hour wandering around trying to find it!

Love love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). They even had special prices for popular shows, easily saving more than 50% of the listed price. Thanks for being a home away from home! PS the cats on the 2nd floor is super cute!

Location is great, not a huge fan of staff smoking at reception area. Unfortunately the doof doof music from several live venues out the front made it terrible. Nearly 2am on weekend and midnight on weekday. It literally thumped through the bed and I was lucky to get a couple of hours sleep even with ear plugs and playing music on a speaker. Unless you can sleep through anything I'd recommend finding something else in the area

Arriving weary and tired to be welcomed by lively, friendly locals having drinks by the roof terrace pool. This is not the welcome I expected to Xi’an at all! But it was very fun. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure I understood what was going on, and striving to make adjustments to my booking details where necessary. The distance from the centre means much less traffic when travelling to and from the station or other sites - making the location very convenient. The food and drinks by the roof terrace have a very wide selection, which is all delicious and comes with great service. I would definitely stay again.
