The service was amazing, with the staff helping me with my bags as well as explaining how to use any of the amenities offered, being consistently patient despite by subpar Mandarin. The actual site itself is picturesque and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful - a perfect atmosphere for a hot spring hotel! I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the larger hot spring pool, but the small private one I had access to was stellar and very soothing! I’d highly recommend to anyone in the Xi’an area.

This place is pure luxury. The moment you walk in you are greeted by a team of people. The rooms are large and comfortable with amenities in case you forgot something. There are separate rooms for the toilet and shower, including a full sized bath tub. You will find cold drinks in the refrigerator and snacks on the table. The food in the restaurant is incredible, with many selections for the breakfast buffet, and the staff make sure you are pampered in every way. They remember your name and the beverage you prefer. The location is in easy to access and just a few minutes from the subway. There are also a few street vendors near by but not in front of the hotel. They also have a great car and driver. He was aggressive but safe. He gave me the impression that he wanted to make sure I got to the right place and on time. Special thanks to Rongrong. She helped me on many occasions with translating, communicating and making sure I was well taking care of. She went above and beyond my expectations of good service. She made my stay extra special. The place and staff are top notch and made my trip to Xi’an most memorable and happy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks again Rongrong and the entire staff at the Rose Garden Hotel, you are truly the best.

The room is clean and cozy! The staff are very friendly and always greeted us with a smile! The room is so high tech in which you can just ask XiaoDu to switch on and off everything in the room and even adjust the temperature of the air conditioner! The location of this hotel is very strategic, just a few meters away from Shaanxi Historical Museum and Dayan Pagoda, and near to Metro line 2 and line 4. The laundry service is free of charge which make it so convenient to us as the weather in XiAn is extremely hot! Besides, the hotel is also collaborating with tourism company and there is always a tourist guide on duty in the lobby. The packages she offers are reasonable and she will always guide you on where the locals will normally have their meals. Overall, this hotel is great! Definitely will be my first choice if I happen to visit XiAn in future!

The Hotel is very conveniently located. Hotel Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Juanjuan was especially very helpful and efficient. Starting from helping with luggage, calling taxi, early breakfast, every help we wanted we got that. The cleaning crews were very polite and friendly. Our room was very tidy. Hotel has guest laundry which is extremely helpful for travellers like us. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Great experience!!

The room facilities are new and just renovated. Our family of three didn't get a family room, so we chose a 1.3-meter bed room, which was more than enough for us! Unlimited drinks are available, which makes the child happiest! Breakfast is also rich! Clean up in time! Not far from attractions and popular food! It's a building shared with other hotels, and Atour has only two floors. I'm not sure what the original prototype of this building was. The sound insulation is really poor. Most of the time I stay at Atour is to go out and have a good sleep. I checked in in the afternoon and rested in the room for a while and then I found it was very noisy, with the cleaning car cleaning the next door room and the noise of other guests coming in and out. I thought it might be time to tidy up in the afternoon, so I didn't say much and went out to play. As a result, I came back at night and found that I could hear the snoring of the next door. I reported it to the front desk lady, and she upgraded us to an upstairs room and gave us eye masks and earplugs. We changed rooms and spent the night basically in silence. As a result, at about 7-8 in the morning, I heard the voices of the guests next door or upstairs talking (I put on earplugs to isolate them silently), and then after 8 o'clock, there was an intermittent sound like the clattering of suitcases. Those who understand will understand. It was really frustrating when I was sleeping, and earplugs were useless for this sound! ! ! The front desk service and hotel facilities are very good, but the sound insulation is really buggy

I traveled to Xi'an with my husband. I screened the hotels in the city center, and finally chose this hotel, which is more distinctive. After I came, the overall experience was really great:
[Travel] It’s very convenient to travel. It’s a few hundred meters from Metro Line 2 Zhonglou Station and Yongningmen Station. There are even more bus stops. Just a few minutes’ walk away, you can reach the most prosperous South Gate and Bell Tower. The night view is very beautiful, and the hotel is just a few minutes away. At the foot of the city wall, you can feel it when you come out of the back door, and the heaviness of history instantly rushes to my heart.
[Entertainment] There are many petty-bourgeois Internet celebrity restaurants in Shuncheng Alley, which have both appearance and flavor. Just a few minutes walk to Fenxiang, Zhuba City, Guangji Street, there are many foods, which are favorites of locals. . If you visit the mall, you can go to SKP, Wangfujing Department Store, Kaiyuan Shopping Mall, Zhongda International, etc. in a few minutes, and you will have both affordable prices and luxury.

This hotel offered wonderful rooms at a very competitive rate. It is placed right by Xi'an's southern gate, and by some very cute neighborhoods.
The staff is not very proficient in English, but they go out of their way to provide service and help.
The room was quite amazing, however we found hairs in the bathtub from previous guests. We were offered bathtub covers as a solution.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Cindy Zhang is attentive and understanding our needs and able to provide an affectionate and warm welcome for our stay in West in Xian. Location is superb next to tang streets and goose pagoda is walking distance opposite hotel.
I visited spa perhaps can check sauna room is not hot in the morning and jacuzzi is neither cold or hot should change to hot water.
All staff showed highest standard of service and hospitality. Keep it up!

GGuest UserWe checked in at 2am. There were one person at the reception and another bellhop at his 60s. Other than then 60s bellhop was friendly greeting us, the receptionist has no chill or whatsoever to welcome us. We have 6 luggages and our rooms can’t be accessed by just a lift directly. This hotel failed to mention that all these rooms can only be accessed by different flight of stairs and elevator. This particular large room can only be accessed by 3 different flights of stairs at different location. There is this particular stairs we have to climb down to our room, has no lights, we have to use our own phone torch. At first we were told it’s their procedure to switch off the stairs light after 12am. After complaints, they decided to switch it on for the rest of our stays. Throughout we carried our luggages our self to the room as the bellhop is old, we were afraid we gave him too much stress. Room wise, the tv, living room, wardrobe arrangement has no common sense at all. 2 tvs each facing the bed. The living room has no tv, so if you wanna chill and watch tv with your family, go to your bed and watch. There is only one wardrobe at the living room blocked by the sofa. You have to squeeze in to hang your jacket. There is no coffee cups or spoon. I stir my coffee with their tooth brush provided in a Champaign glass. You might ask why a Champaign glass, because the room service just doesn’t wash your normal glasses after you use it. Worth mentioning, the coffee I drank in the morning, the glass is still there unwashed at night. The can of coke I left it there on the first day, was still there on the last day. Probably they think leaving it there for long will taste better. The room service is really bare min. I understand this is a garden balcony kind of hotel, like a chalet, but they should really buck up on their bellhop services and room cleaning services. It’s really tiring to walk and carry our luggages to our own room. Not to mention checking out is the same. The safety of the guest are not really taken care of given that they expect you to use your own torch to navigate down the stairs on the first day. Also, the everyday room service does not clean the bedsheets even if there are clothes tags or clothes linen on the bed. They simply pull the sheets, tuck in, as long as it looks nice, they doesn’t care about what’s on it and underneath the blanket. Just wanna say, The price we paid for this hotel is same as those nearby.

The breakfast was superb, the restaurants serve anthentic Contonese dishes and dim sum, while the fusion grill house serves great pirk chops.

GGuest UserA beautiful hotel, felt welcome as soon as we walked into the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful.
We received a complementary gift bag containing snacks and biscuit shaped in the local main sights, along with a hand drawn map of Xi’an city.
The room was nicely decorated, there was a complementary face and eye mask in the room which was a nice touch.
The location was very central, with all main sights in the city no more than 10-15 minutes walk away.
Having a self service laundry room with 2 washing machines and a tumble drier was a real bonus.

WWendy Lay HongWe arrived at the hotel around 10 PM and were warmly welcomed by a gentleman in a light blue jacket (apologies, we didn’t catch his name; he was slightly on the plump side). His friendly demeanor immediately made us feel at home.
During check-in, we were attended to by Sam at the reception. Noticing that we had three kids with us, he thoughtfully offered some delicious snack crackers to keep us busy while waiting. The snacks were so tasty!
As a family, we preferred our rooms to be close to each other. Unfortunately, the rooms we had reserved were at opposite corners of the building. Sam went the extra mile and consulted the Manager, Ms. Candy, for a solution. While we were ready to downgrade one of the family rooms to a standard room, Ms. Candy instead graciously upgraded one of the family rooms to a suite to accommodate our request. This gesture was deeply appreciated!
The breakfast at the hotel was fabulous, offering a wide range of options, including Chinese and Western dishes, along with kid-friendly snacks.
We had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Candy again in the lobby, where she provided excellent sightseeing advice. She recommended a visit to Mount Hua and even arranged for the hotel driver to take us there. The trip turned out to be absolutely fantastic, and we were in awe of the stunning mountain scenery.
I highly recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Xi'an. Its location is superb—right next to Datang Everbright City, with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance.

OOlivier Pierre CharlesThe starway hotel is in the best location possible in Xi’an, directly above the street with all the great food street vendors, where it is impossible to resists the aromas. Right by the Bell Tower, it is super close to the subway and can connect you to all the cool places to visit in Xi’an.
The hotel staff was super friendly and I felt very well taken care of. They helped me organise the tour to the terrace cotta army site and last but not least the breakfast buffet, super Chinese, was very good.
The room was spacious with 2 beds and a large shower.
If you are going to Xi’an, definitely the place to go.
Oh and also worth noting, even though the hotel
Is right above the action (I was there at the weekend), closing the window suppressed all noise from the street!

GGuest UserThis has been our favourite hotel so far on our multi-week trip across China. It is amazing value for money. The breakfast buffet was extensive. It was a nice savings to have coffee available in the morning. They have a large children’s play room, roof top garden and communal laundry room.
The hotel is conveniently located. It’s close to the subway, which made it easy to get to-and-from the hotel. It’s also close to Muslim street and other food street, so there were plenty of options!
It was pretty clean. There was daily housekeeping, which included changing towels and replenishing disposables. They were inconsistent with replacing bedding, which was was not an issue, but it seemed odd. There were laundry facilities and breakfast, which was greatly appreciated!
A few nitpicking details:
The ad states that front desk spoke English. There was one person that spoke a bit of English to me, but most of time, I had to use a translator on my phone. There weren’t any issues, but it was not as fluid as some other places that listed English.
On Trip.com, it said we were eligible for a free room upgrade, which I believe we received. (It’s hard to tell from the photos.) It also said we were eligible for a free airport pick-up. They did not list railway station pick-ups at all, so I asked if they treated them the same. Unfortunately, the offer did not extend to the railway station, although they do offer railway station pick-ups for a price.
