Plus, the butler organized movie nights, and the dark, industrial-themed environment was incredibly immersive. I even swapped a Tianjin Eye fridge magnet for a vintage license plate at the magnet exchange – those little touches really appeal to collectors like me! The room itself maintained the signature rugged industrial style, but the soft bedding was a delightful contrast. It’s just a few minutes' walk from Tianjin Station, so transport is no problem at all. For less than 100 per person, to get this kind of atmosphere, it's definitely great value for money."

"Great location, excellent value for money. There's an underground parking lot. It's very convenient for sightseeing and dining nearby. The jianbing guozi (savory crepe) for breakfast was delicious. You have to wait for the wontons. While not as lavish as a five-star hotel, the breakfast is perfectly sufficient and tasty. It was my first time having diced chicken with chili (laziji ding) for breakfast, and it brought back a familiar, old-school canteen feeling. There's also Xiaobao Lizi (a chestnut shop) nearby, but what they sell now isn't like before; it tastes more boiled than stir-fried. Check-out was very efficient, and the deposit refund was quick. Manager Xiao Fan even gave a gift and specifically asked for feedback on my stay. Not comparing it to a five-star, this is a very good and worthwhile hotel."

"This was the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at during an airport layover for a business trip. The hotel is clean, fresh, and comfortable, and the room was spacious with underfloor heating. The shower water temperature was also perfect. Plus, there are plenty of dining options conveniently located near the hotel. It's only a seven or eight-minute drive from the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service! Definitely a recommended hotel."

They offer a simple lunch at noon for 30 yuan, served on a tray. This place is indeed very close to the South Station, and it's not too far to walk to Shanshan Outlets, about 1 kilometer."

"This was meant to be a transit hotel, but it exceeded all my expectations! Aside from the small bathroom, the room was very spacious and even had an electric rocking chair. The family room came with a cute little tent, toys, and picture books. My child was instantly captivated the moment we walked in and absolutely loved playing in the tent. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service (which is essentially a free Didi ride). It's super close, only about a 5-minute taxi ride, making it the perfect choice for an early morning flight."

"Coming to Tianjin, I wanted to visit Dabeiyuan Temple. I checked and found that the Holiday Inn has an excellent location, just a few hundred meters' walk from the Ferris wheel, the cruise terminal, and Dabeiyuan Temple, which is incredibly convenient. There are also many great food options nearby, and takeout is easy, with even a small robot delivering meals. I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in many years, and you can tell it's a long-standing international hotel. The front desk lady helped us upgrade our room type. The scenic view room was very spacious, and the king-size bed was perfectly fine for a family of three. You could choose between soft and firm pillows, and there was a bathtub. The highlight was genuinely excellent soundproofing, allowing us to get a peaceful night's rest. The breakfast was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options. Tianjin specialties like doufunao (tofu brain), gaba cai (mung bean pancake soup), and jianbing guozi (savory crepes) were all available. The hotel has both underground and ground parking, with plenty of spaces. You just scan a QR code when checking out to get a free parking voucher. This location is truly fantastic, and the price is relatively reasonable too. I highly recommend it!"

During my stay, I encountered a minor issue: the blackout curtains in my room malfunctioned and couldn't close properly. After contacting the front desk for maintenance, a technician arrived promptly that evening and quickly completed the repair. The overnight response efficiency was very high, and the problem was handled extremely well. Overall, the hotel's facilities are well-maintained, the service response is timely, and the location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around or taking a stroll along the Hai River. It's highly recommended for anyone visiting Tianjin."

"The hotel seems a bit old, but the room size is decent, and the bedding is very comfortable. The location is convenient, with a subway station right across the street. However, the front desk service needs improvement. I requested a south-facing room, but they gave me a north-facing one. I had to go back downstairs to ask for a change before they would switch it. It felt like they were just trying to get away with it if I hadn't pushed. They even made a bunch of excuses. Overall, it's alright, but it would be even better if the environment and service were improved."
