This time, they also included a couple's package for Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort, which came with a 20 yuan voucher I used for ice cream and grilled sausage. The hotel also offered a free freshly squeezed watermelon juice if you posted a review on Xiaohongshu. The scenery within the State Guesthouse is picturesque, and the area around Qu Garden Teahouse is like a small corner of Slender West Lake itself – absolutely beautiful. The hotel also has a hidden gem: you can book a 'Bathing Time' service for the evening through their WeChat official account. There are four options: a rose bath, a skin-brightening sweet orange bath, a relaxing lavender bath, and a parent-child option. You need to book in advance, but if it's fully booked, a quick word with the front desk usually sorts it out. This was for a weekday stay; I'm not sure about weekends. Here are some of the complimentary services I've discovered and unlocked while staying at the hotel: 1. **Swan Lake**: You can ask the front desk for free swan and fish food (unlimited supply) to feed the swans, ducks, and koi. 2. **Shuttle Service**: Free shuttle to the swimming pool, Qu Garden, or any other building. There's also a free mini-train tour of the gardens with commentary. 3. **Spring Water Swimming Pool**: Absolutely no chlorine smell! The 50-meter lap pool has floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning garden views. It would be a huge miss not to go for a swim if you're staying here. 4. **Bathing Time**"

"This was my first stay at Intercity, and it exceeded my expectations. My husband and I have been checking out various hotels, from luxurious ones to cozy guesthouses, and this Yangzhou branch was by far the most comfortable and relaxing. They truly made us feel at home. Every staff member treated guests like family, which was incredibly warm. On our first day, the doorman meticulously washed our car because we had driven a long distance and there were many 'bug corpses' on the windshield. We were genuinely touched by his thoughtful gesture. Their enthusiastic service continued until we entered the elevator. Such small details were perfectly executed, which made me think that the rest of our stay would be just as good. And indeed, the breakfast was another pleasant surprise. Although the dining room was small, the dishes were exquisite and plentiful. Moreover, the service from Restaurant Supervisor Mu added another layer of excellence; honestly, there's nothing to complain about. (Also, Mao Mao from the laundry room was very patient and meticulous, and the laundry equipment was spotless, completely eliminating any concerns about hygiene). During our interactions, I learned more about Intercity's philosophy: to foster mutual respect and closeness, bridging the gap between people through the best service possible. This is truly a wonderful thing. We are very grateful for the warm service provided by every staff member at Intercity 💕. We will definitely be back 😊💕. "When I took my child to Yangzhou, I initially booked a family room, but it didn't specify that it had a sofa bed. We then realized it was completely unsuitable for sleeping. My first attempt to communicate with the front desk was met with a very unhelpful male staff member. However, after contacting Trip.com customer service, Manager Gao from the hotel quickly stepped in. Within 10 minutes, he helped us switch to a different room type and even prepared a gift for my child. He also promptly contacted his colleagues to update the details of the family room type, changing the description from 'single bed' to 'sofa bed'. This shows great responsibility, not only to us but also to future guests (as we usually avoid sofa beds when booking family rooms). A big thank you again to Manager Gao; he is both capable and efficient. Our trip to Yangzhou ended perfectly."

"This garden hotel was a great choice for our friends' get-together. The environment is lovely, with lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere, complete with charming bridges and flowing water – perfect for beautiful photos. We enjoyed authentic Yangzhou cuisine at the hotel's Shang Palace Chinese restaurant without even leaving the premises, and as guests, we received a discount – fantastic! Our room was also clean, tidy, and well-designed. What truly deserves special mention is the front desk manager, Fu Liting. When she found out I'd left my headphones behind, she immediately found them and arranged to have them couriered to me in Shanghai. I'm incredibly grateful! Highly recommend!"

"We brought our parents and kids to Yangzhou, and the hotel's location is perfect, right next to Dongguan Street, with Dongguan Ancient Ferry Terminal just diagonally across. Our room with a view overlooked the Ancient Grand Canal. It’s also not far from the main attractions. The only downside was that we ran into a typhoon, so all the scenic spots were closed, but thankfully there were plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel is a boutique style. The standard rooms are a bit small, you can see the whole room in one glance. There are two suite types, which are much larger and more spacious, offering a significantly more comfortable stay. Since we checked in on my father's 70th birthday, the hotel arranged a lovely surprise for him, which we really appreciated! The room decor isn't brand new, but the facilities are well-maintained, and it even has a smart system – definitely small but exquisite. Although it's by the road, it was surprisingly quiet at night; I didn't even need the earplugs provided by the bed. Finally, what left the deepest impression was the hotel's service. From being escorted to our room during check-in to having our luggage brought to the car upon check-out, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The laundry service was also fantastic. You just take your clothes to the laundry room, put them in, fill out a small request card, and they return them to your room, washed, dried, folded neatly, and bagged – truly exceeding expectations! The typhoon's disappointment just means we'll have to visit again!"

"Stayed at Junting Hotel with my family. The hotel's scent was lovely, and there was complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, with the lemon tea being particularly refreshing and thirst-quenching. The room was clean and tidy, and any requests we had were promptly fulfilled. The bath bags provided next to the bathtub were a thoughtful touch. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including many Yangzhou specialties. I highly recommend the Yangzhou dried shredded tofu and the oil pastries. Besides those, the grape juice, braised goose, and duck blood vermicelli soup were also delicious. I especially want to commend the Hanfu photoshoot service included in our package. The photographer was excellent at capturing great shots, and his guidance on lighting and posing was both professional and patient. It was a truly memorable experience that received unanimous praise from my entire family."

It is clean and tidy, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. However, there is only one shower head, and it is positioned low, so people over 1.8 meters tall need to squat to shower."

"Traveling to Yangzhou with my parents and child, I spent ages on Ctrip before settling on Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort. It was absolutely the right choice! It perfectly met my child's desire to play in the water, while also allowing my parents to relax after sightseeing. The hotel has its own hot springs, which are of excellent quality – a slightly acidic, lithium-rich water that leaves your skin smooth after soaking. There are probably over twenty pools, each with its own unique features, spread out within the scenic area. Enjoying the beautiful scenery while soaking in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing. The hotel also offers many fun activities for children. Across from the hotel is the Slender West Lake scenic area, and other attractions are not far away, making transportation very convenient."

"The hotel's location is super convenient, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lovely, and the breakfast, in particular, was fantastic – a wide variety of dishes and delicious, plus they even give you their homemade milk skin! We received welcome fruit upon check-in and a souvenir when we left, which was a wonderful surprise. If I had to pick out a couple of minor points, the room was a bit small with no city view, and there was some dust on the desk… but these are minor issues; overall, our stay was excellent!"
