Romantic Hotels in Yangzhou

Came to Yangzhou for the Dragon Boat Festival with friends, and after comparing many hotels, we finally decided on Zhenyuan Hotel because of its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a mahjong table. On the day of check-in, the front desk lady called ahead to confirm our itinerary. Since it was raining, she even brought an umbrella to escort us to our room and helped us check in there. They provided welcome fruits, drinks, and Yangzhou University yogurt, and thoughtfully replenished them the next day after we finished them. The hotel itself is converted from a salt merchant's private residence, so the courtyard and corridors offer beautiful scenery. At check-out, they even gave each of us a hotel fridge magnet. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot. Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper. It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. The location is excellent, very close to Dongguan Street, and there are many dining options nearby. However, the hotel's location is surprisingly quiet and not noisy. The hotel is situated in an alley. Although the address is Guoging Road, it's actually right by Wenchang Road. Service: The staff were very enthusiastic, greeting us every time we entered or left the hotel, and were very proactive in helping with any issues. They even prepared a souvenir for us when we checked out. The only drawback is that the shower in the suite directly faces the living room sofa, so you have to pull a screen across yourself. If you don't mind this, then it's not an issue. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would choose this hotel again next time.

The Hongqiaofang Hotel is part of the Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel, but its facilities are quite average. Paying 2000 a night during a holiday is definitely not worth the price. You should book Building 18 in advance, it's only three years old. For the Quyuan morning tea, you have to line up by 6 AM, otherwise, you won't get a spot until noon. It's really better not to travel during holidays. The advantage of staying at the Xiyuan Hotel is its proximity to Slender West Lake and all the food options nearby. The environment is absolutely stunning. The beautiful scenery of Liuting under the rain gives off a charming Jiangnan misty rain vibe. It's perfect for a vacation. You should come when it's less crowded to fully enjoy the tranquility. Building 11 is older, and the hygiene is really just so-so. I even found an uncleaned razor.

Fantastic location, just a ten-minute walk from Slender West Lake, and directly across from MixC shopping mall. There are many other malls nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also easy to get to all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is superb – they're always ready to help. Great value for money; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou.

The owner was very welcoming and sent recommendations for local restaurants with a long history and nearby attractions upon check-in. He was always there whenever I left or returned, always offering a warm greeting. The B&B is located right on Dongguan Street, very close to the action, which greatly enhanced my experience!

The hotel service is particularly thoughtful. I contacted and reserved a parking space one day in advance. The room was large and hygienic. The whole family was very satisfied with the hotel's service. Every waiter was very enthusiastic. I went out to play and passed by the front desk. I always prepared a few bottles of water for us. It was hot, with it, and it was very intimate in a different place. It is a better hotel in recent years, and also sent Heyuan tickets. I didn’t think how good it was. I left the store on the last day and went to Heyuan. There was an explanation. It was worth it. Heyuan must go to explain otherwise I really don’t understand. I recommend everyone to live here.

The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

Facilities: There is an air purifier in the middle of the two rooms in the super in place. The bathtub in the room, the table, the air purifier, the projector, let alone the superb. I have lived in so many hotels. The three sides are really the ceiling! ! ! Hygienic: super clean, all details are cleaned in place Environment: Surrounded by the downtown area, there are food and play. It is difficult to park there, but the hotel has its own parking lot. It is really key! ! And there are kittens in the hotel. Super handsome. When you see people, you will come. Service: We stayed at night. The front desk lady was very good. She also took me to park the car in the parking lot. Various problems will be solved as soon as possible. The emotional value is full.

I chose this hotel purely for its excellent location! If you're visiting Yangzhou, I highly recommend staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Yangzhou. The location is fantastic – you can walk to Slender West Lake in about 15-20 minutes, and right across the street is MixC, which is super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The room wasn't particularly large, and the facilities felt a bit dated and not very well-maintained. The water pressure was good, though, so showering was quite comfortable. The central air conditioning, however, was a major letdown. It was stiflingly hot, and they wouldn't turn on the AC, not even the fan! It was 19 degrees Celsius outside, but the room was a scorching 27 degrees Celsius. On the brighter side, the foot massage on B1 was pretty good, but the dim sum for breakfast on the second floor was just average.
