GGuest UserI like it very much, and I rarely write reviews, so I decided to write a review to provide a channel for everyone to understand. I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it.
Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful.
Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days.
Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

Its location is incredibly convenient; Pi Shi Street is within walking distance, and Slender West Lake is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The room amenities are very thoughtful, including a mini-fridge and a disinfection cabinet, plus they provided two key cards. Breakfast was also plentiful. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and snacks, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance. Many thanks to the staff for their enthusiastic welcome. We look forward to staying here again!

GGuest UserI stayed in a private house with my family, and it was wonderful to have three rooms and a yard. I was particularly impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms and how well they were kept clean. One drawback was that the parking lot was a bit far away, but if you call in advance, a staff member will come and help with valet parking and carry your luggage in a carry-on bag, which was convenient. The location is also right next to Gaewon and a famous street, so I'll definitely book here again next time I visit Yangzhou.

JJidushanluanjueI booked the cheapest room type, which was a semi-basement room. When I opened the window, I saw a solid wall, but I could still see a small patch of sky. The hot spring pool was like a large bathtub, located indoors.
‼️Tips: I thought Ctrip had the lowest price, but I was ripped off: **there's a group purchase deal available, but you need to book one day in advance. On weekends, there's an additional 200 RMB charge, but even with the surcharge, it's still over 200 RMB cheaper than Ctrip.**
Hygiene: The water glasses and coffee cups had obvious stains.
Service: When I arrived, they wouldn't let me check in before 3 PM. However, on my check-out day, around 8 AM, the housekeeping staff were already cleaning the vacated room next door. They were making a lot of noise, clattering things around, and talking loudly to each other. I was woken up by the noise, which made for a very bad experience.
The hotel is very close to Slender West Lake, just a few minutes' walk away, which is great.

MM527241****This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.
