I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it. Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful. Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days. Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

Environment: Located right by Slender West Lake, the environment is absolutely stunning! Service: The front desk staff, both ladies and gentlemen, were friendly and enthusiastic! Yangzhou Slender West Lake Hot Spring or Hongqiaofang Hot Spring (choose 1 of 2): I absolutely love it! Last time I stayed, I chose Hongqiaofang. This time, with more time, I opted for Slender West Lake Hot Spring, and it totally rivals those in Japan! Excellent value for money.

As a veteran traveler, I often come to Yangzhou and have stayed in almost all the hotels in the surrounding area. This time I came to experience this newly opened hotel, which should be the most elegant one in Dongguan Street, haha. Xiao Qinhuai Street District currently has no commercial atmosphere, but it is very quiet, transportation is very convenient, and there are many authentic snacks around. The front desk recommended the very good Lao Goose Store. In addition, the hotel service is very good. I was upgraded to a riverside room for free and received a welcome drink. Unfortunately, I didn't go to the bar for a drink because I was busy with work at night (it is said to be the tallest bar near Dongguan Street). Knowing that I like coffee, they invited me to the bar in the morning and gave me Americano. In addition to local morning tea buns for breakfast, I especially like the thick-cut braised pork, which is much better than the traditional fried bacon. This kind of set meal is great. I like the style of the guest rooms. There are too few block-style designer hotels in Yangzhou. I will come again with my friends in a while.

Really recommend Yangzhou Xuxu Hot Spring Resort! The environment here is particularly comfortable, surrounded by green plants, quiet and comfortable. The resort grounds are beautiful. The room was great with the outside tub. It was very far from town and we could not get a Didi to come there so we had to take a bus to go to splendid west lake. I booked a room that said it came with free flow mini bar, fishing, biking and entry into the wetlands. There was no minibar and when I asked, they brought us two bags of chips and sodas. This is not what I call free flow or a bar. I complained to trip and they eventually sent us a bottle of wine. I never received any info about the fishing or biking, even though I asked. There is no entry fee to the wetlands so I’m not sure why they put this as a perk. Also, the bar out front was closed and the lobby bar only had fruit beer. There was a sign with 20 drinks listed but everything was out. The restaurant was amazing and the most positive experience. Great food and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was awesome. The restaurant had beverages but they do not open until 6 PM. I would not stay here again based on my experience.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The waiters were very nice and there were many breakfast varieties. The dinner included in our original package was a buffet. Because there were not many people, they changed it to a Chinese restaurant to save costs. However, the standard was lowered to only 200 yuan, and it was not easy to order dishes by ourselves. We could only eat the dishes prepared by the chef. In addition, when checking in at the front desk, I saw that other tourists who stayed in the room had upgraded their courtyard rooms to garden views. So our package didn't seem to be that cost-effective, right?

The location of the hotel is moderate and lively. The shopping mall opposite is about 5 minutes' walk away. The room is fully equipped with refrigerators, cooking stoves, washing and drying machines, bathroom accessories and other equipment. It is very attentive. You can also enjoy cooking, which feels like home. Also, this room seems to be designed as a suite. There is a large bed in the living room and the same large bed in the bedroom, which is very comfortable. There are quite a lot of choices for breakfast, there are many types, and it tastes good. The key point is that it includes breakfast. The price/performance ratio is very high. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Yizheng.
