Krabi Town Hotels with Infinity Pools

"We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel exudes luxury and tranquility with a beautiful view. Despite being right in the city center, you wouldn't know it. Upon check-in, there was a misunderstanding regarding whether our booked room would have a bathtub. After some discussion, we were offered an upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi on the balcony! The room is fully equipped with all amenities, and drinking water is refilled daily. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to give you an unforgettable experience. There are 3 different saltwater pools and 2 restaurants. You can also order food and drinks via a QR code to be delivered to your sun lounger by the pool. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. You can enjoy the view during breakfast both indoors and outdoors. There's also a fitness room with brand-new equipment. I honestly can't think of anything negative about this hotel, and if we're ever in Krabi again, we will definitely be back!"

"I forgot to take photos during my stay, but the room looked exactly the same as the photos shown here. One great thing about this hotel is that there is a motorbike rental shop just across the street, which is very convenient for travelers who plan to explore by motorbike. The price is reasonable and the bikes are quite new. They even clean the motorbike before renting it out, so you don’t have to worry about being scammed. The hotel itself is not very new and has a slightly older style, but overall it’s still okay and comfortable for a normal stay. If you rent a motorbike, it only takes about 5 minutes to reach Ao Nang, where the whole street is lively with bars, massage shops, and many restaurants. However, if you are planning to walk everywhere, this hotel might not be very convenient because there are no attractions, restaurants, or convenience stores within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers who plan to rent a motorbike and explore around. As long as you don’t mind that the hotel is a bit older and you’re not looking for something very luxurious, it’s perfectly fine for a stay."

"We arrived to our room being sweltering hot. In fact it was cooler outside than it was inside. I understand that with current fuel prices being so high, that they aren’t going to leave the air con all day anticipating our arrival. They offered us a pass to put into the slot so the air con wouldn’t turn off if we left the room, but with our room being at the top of the mountain. I did expect for them to bring it to our room rather than making us treck back down and up again. The room wasn’t clean… shower head was black with mould, when pointed out this was rectified. We upgraded to a room with a bath but couldn’t use it as it leaked and flooded the bathroom when using. We notified the hotel, they sent someone to fix it but no compensation was offered despite paying an extra 5,000 baht for this feature and only being able to use it once. Breakfast is like a horror show. I can only describe it as horrendous. My advice is save your money and don’t add breakfast to your room rate. Baked beans were cold, French toast was a thin slice of hoavis stuck to the bottom of the metal warmer. Yoghurt had flies in it - the only thing mildly edible was the egg station. Staff at breakfast was incredibly rude… we asked for some ice and lemon for our water, slices of lemon were thrown down at my husband, again notified reception and nothing was done. This is a Muslim hotel so no alcohol is served at the bar, not a big deal as they allow you to bring in drink from the 7/11 across the road but it’s not really advertised very well. Pool is lovely and the pool bar staff were nice, the rooms are good and shuttle service was ok. We only had a one issue of it taking half an hour to arrive. It is walkable if you’re fit - unfortunately I couldn’t walk up due to illness so had to wait out the 30 minutes. Location is good. Ao Nang beach is about 20/25 minute walk but there are free shuttles (one way) offered by the hotel when they feel like it, but Grab Taxi’s are cheap and easy to get. Ao Nang night market is brilliant and about a 15 minute taxi ride away. Would say it isn’t really worth the money is and more like a 3 star. It could be such a great hotel with improvements. A bit disappointed with it considering it was part of our honeymoon trip and feel we were let down."

"The hotel is built on a hill, which makes getting around a little inconvenient. From the lobby to the breakfast area, you need to take three different lifts and still climb some stairs. The breakfast itself was not very good. The room had some pros and cons. It was nice that six complimentary glass bottles of water were provided, but the digital light switches lagged and were confusing—they sometimes only worked several seconds after pressing. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust, and the bathroom and shower area were separated in an awkward way. Our superior room balcony faced the road, so there wasn’t much of a view. The fridge barely kept things cool, and the room had bugs and mosquitoes—I got a few bites during the stay. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the main highlight is the pool area, which offers a beautiful sea view of Ao Nang. Essentially, what you are paying for here is the pool view rather than the overall hotel experience."

"Really beautiful place. What a nice find. Our room is amazing and big and new. Great breakfast. Nice pool, but they could put more chairs there to lie on. No alcohol is served on the property but you can bring your own. Beautiful places to walk. Can also kayak in the lagoon. Many daily activities (some free). Also a free ride to Railay beach if you want. We loved our stay here. Check out is just a bit too early, 11am."

"It takes about an hour to get to Phi Phi Island from Phuket Royal Marina by the hotel's speedboat. The hotel front desk staff doesn't speak any Chinese, so you'll need to communicate entirely in English. You can book your return transportation when you check in. The hotel environment is very nice, the staff are all very polite, and the rooms are clean. The only downside is the excessive number of mosquitoes! Be sure to bring your own mosquito repellent! Also, bring some mosquito patches, as there are many mosquitoes outdoors too! The hotel has a Western restaurant, a buffet restaurant, a Thai restaurant, etc. The food quality is generally mediocre, and the prices are not cheap. The Thai restaurant is halfway up the hill, requires reservations, and it's dark with lots of mosquitoes, so I don't recommend going there. For the return trip, I'm not sure why we shared a boat with guests from three other hotels along the way. There were a lot of people and luggage, and it was very crowded. My boyfriend and I sat together, and some white ”mean girls” commented that we were selfish and didn't understand why we didn't sit separately to maintain balance... but no other couples on the boat were sitting separately. Since we were the only two Chinese people, it's hard not to suspect discrimination."

"We had an overall enjoyable stay at Sofitel in Krabi, with a few areas that could be improved—especially given the expectations of a five-star property. The location is a clear highlight. The beach is calm and relatively private, without the usual crowd of boats, which made for a very relaxing environment. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and consistently good quality. The overall decor of the lobby and restaurants was also beautifully done, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere for both breakfast and dinner. However, service was somewhat inconsistent. Room service could be slow at times, and on a few occasions, items like trash left outside the room were not cleared promptly. There were also communication lapses—for example, we had requested assistance to coordinate with an elephant sanctuary, but the message was not properly followed through between staff members. There were also minor maintenance issues, such as a non-functioning balcony light, which we chose not to escalate but would have expected to be addressed proactively at this level. For a family room, we expected more thoughtful child-friendly design. Simple things like a stool for children to reach the sink were missing, which made basic routines unnecessarily difficult and less safe. The pool facilities were decent but not outstanding, and cleanliness could be improved. In particular, the kiddie pool had visible debris and bugs, which made it less comfortable for young children. We also found the pool safety setup confusing and somewhat concerning. There were clear warnings stating that there are no lifeguards and that parents are responsible for supervision. However, there was consistently a staff member seated by the pool under a shaded area, appearing like a lifeguard but not actively monitoring the pool. This created a misleading impression and could give families a false sense of security. During our stay, we also witnessed a situation where a child became stuck under part of the pool obstacle structure, and assistance had to be actively requested from nearby staff. While the situation was resolved, it reinforced our concern that supervision and safety measures could be more proactive. Given the number of safety warnings posted around the pool, we were surprised that no trained lifeguard was present, especially as the current setup may give families a false sense of supervision. One of the main drawbacks was the pricing structure. Many services and items felt excessively priced, including: • Food at the on-site restaurants (significantly higher than comparable options outside the resort) • Transport and excursion arrangements (e.g., speedboat pricing well above market rates) • Activity rentals, such as the Sub Blue underwater scooter (350 THB++ for 30 minutes), which felt disproportionately expensive • Additional charges for small requests, including delivery fees for food within the property These added costs created a sense of being “nickel-and-dimed,” which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, while we appreciated the beautiful location, excellent breakfast, and well-designed spaces, we felt that service consistency, family-friendliness, safety clarity, and value for money could be improved to better align with five-star expectations."

"Facilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully."

"The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the beach is incredible! The forest environment is very tranquil; I got lost every day, and there were even cute lemurs~ The room was also excellent, very spacious and tidy, with a Southeast Asian decor style. The hotel service was also great, with plenty of activities, and the breakfast and afternoon tea were very good. The hotel's cave restaurant and Thai restaurant were surprisingly delicious, and combined with the scenic views, it offered fantastic value for money! The only issue is that the round-trip transportation costs extra and is quite expensive, but I still absolutely love this hotel and would definitely come back if I get the chance."
