"My stay at Colors was perfect. The room is large, the Wifi is Good, the bed was comfortable and the shower was drenching. Colors is private if you want it to be and friendly if you want it to be. The on-site Italian restaurant is excellent. When I go back to Ao Nang I will be staying at Colors again."

"Beautiful hotel in Ao Nang located up in the mountains, surrounded by jungle. The rooms are spacious, wooden, and feel like a little retreat. There’s a shuttle that takes you up to your room, which is fun, but if you want to walk everywhere or walk to the beach easily, this place is probably not for you. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, keep in mind you’ll hear nature sounds at night. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby though, which is convenient. The pool is beautiful, but they don’t sell alcohol there, so just know that in advance. Breakfast was okay, maybe 3/5, but the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really special."

"Really beautiful place. What a nice find. Our room is amazing and big and new. Great breakfast. Nice pool, but they could put more chairs there to lie on. No alcohol is served on the property but you can bring your own. Beautiful places to walk. Can also kayak in the lagoon. Many daily activities (some free). Also a free ride to Railay beach if you want. We loved our stay here. Check out is just a bit too early, 11am."

"I forgot to take photos during my stay, but the room looked exactly the same as the photos shown here. One great thing about this hotel is that there is a motorbike rental shop just across the street, which is very convenient for travelers who plan to explore by motorbike. The price is reasonable and the bikes are quite new. They even clean the motorbike before renting it out, so you don’t have to worry about being scammed. The hotel itself is not very new and has a slightly older style, but overall it’s still okay and comfortable for a normal stay. If you rent a motorbike, it only takes about 5 minutes to reach Ao Nang, where the whole street is lively with bars, massage shops, and many restaurants. However, if you are planning to walk everywhere, this hotel might not be very convenient because there are no attractions, restaurants, or convenience stores within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers who plan to rent a motorbike and explore around. As long as you don’t mind that the hotel is a bit older and you’re not looking for something very luxurious, it’s perfectly fine for a stay."

"The location of the hotel itself was right in the best place if you like the Ao nang beach and the RCA street. Everything is in a walkable distance, mcdonalds, 7-eleven, ao nang beach, and the bars. I was traveling with my 5yo and we were given a room right on the street, which made it impossible to sleep at night till 2am. Told the reception about it they said sorry we will give you free canopy , next day we tried to get the canopy on the pool, but no one gave it to us…. Apart from that, the rooftop infinity pool is very good at sunset, also the breakfast buffet was very good !"

"I absolutely loved my stay at this beach resort in Krabi—it was absolutely perfect in every way. The scenery here is breathtakingly beautiful, with turquoise waters, golden sand, and stunning limestone cliffs all around. The beach itself is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and simply gorgeous; I couldn’t have asked for a nicer spot to relax by the ocean. The best part by far is the resort’s swimming pool, which is actually the largest pool in Thailand. We spent so much time there and had the best time swimming, laughing, and enjoying the water—it was so much fun. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The staff were kind, helpful, and attentive to every need. Overall, everything was flawless. We had an incredible time in Thailand, and this resort made our trip even more wonderful. I can’t recommend it enough!"

"Facilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully."

"This is the second Banyan Tree Hideaway I've stayed at; the first was in Bali. It's undoubtedly the most luxurious experience in all of Krabi, bar none. With only 54 villas in the entire hotel, even at full occupancy, there are only about a hundred guests, ensuring peace and privacy. I stayed for three days and never left the hotel premises. The restaurant's Thai food is among the top 10% in all of Thailand, far surpassing many 'influencer' restaurants. Our butler, Sun, is Thai and has visited China. Many of the staff members have interned at hotels in China for several years. By the second day, whether it was the regular service staff or the restaurant staff, they all knew my name, addressing me as Mr. So-and-so or Ms. So-and-so. It truly felt like coming home. They were always ready to chat with you, though this might feel a bit uncomfortable for those who are socially anxious. Hong Island is a complimentary hotel excursion, departing at 9 AM daily from the private beach at the hotel's Sunset Bar, returning at 12 PM. Water and towels are provided free of charge, and you only need to pay a 300 baht island entrance fee. If you wish, you can go every day. Upon your return, your butler and the Sunset Bar staff will be lined up with drinks, iced towels, and a car, ready to welcome you back. Honestly, a room costing over ten thousand per night is truly incomparable to the Banyan Tree next door. It's not that Banyan Tree is bad; they just have completely different concepts. The Hideaway is also different from a traditional Ritz-Carlton, considering there are only 7 such properties worldwide (some say 9, I haven't confirmed). You need to show your check-in confirmation at the entrance; outsiders are not allowed into the hotel. Privacy, privacy, privacy is the main focus throughout your stay. Finally, you have a good chance of seeing small lizards, but crocodiles are much harder to spot – it's purely luck. They don't bite, but of course, don't provoke them; after all, they are wild animals. I hope this helps anyone planning a trip."

"I want to express my immense gratitude to the hotel team and owners for making our vacation truly unforgettable! This was probably the best vacation of my life. Everything was absolutely perfect! I'd like to start with the grounds – words simply cannot describe how beautiful it is, and how harmoniously it blends into the island's wild nature. The bungalows themselves are very functional and beautiful, with a garden-facing terrace – waking up and having morning coffee there felt magical. The staff are incredibly responsive and genuinely kind. The breakfasts are excellent – hearty and delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The pools are simply magnificent, and the sea is crystal clear, with a perfect beach and a very comfortable, shallow entry. If I were to visit Phi Phi again, I would only stay at this hotel. A small tip for future guests: there are mosquitoes and gnats on the island (this is the only tiny natural drawback, not a hotel one). In addition to mosquito spray, be sure to buy a special cream for bites at any Thai pharmacy. It was a lifesaver for us (we always get bitten a lot). The cream relieves itching and discomfort within a few seconds of application – it's an absolute must-have for Phi Phi! Thank you to the hotel team for this paradise and perfect service!"
