:))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

Guest UserI was staying with my daughter here. Its close to the city centre just a few minutes of walk. Hotel itself was very beautiful. They had tit bits morning, evening and night at the entrance for their patrons to enjoy. Loved the view of the lake outside our window. Housekeeping was extremely thoughtful. They also sent us complementary milk and chocolate to make our hot chocolate at night. Loved it!

Guest UserI've stayed in bunk-style hostels before, but this one was much taller and more spacious, which was great. The only downside is that climbing to the top bunk felt quite high and a bit scary.
It's nice that they provide towels, especially for a hostel. Considering how expensive accommodation is in Queenstown, this place offers good value for money.
My only regret is that they sell alcohol in the kitchen, so you can't drink wine or other alcoholic beverages you've bought from outside.

cyyqqThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Queenstown city center, and the lake views are stunning. The room was spacious and clean, well-equipped, making for a comfortable and quiet stay. The staff's service attitude was good, though there was a slight wait during check-in. Overall, it was a great experience, perfect for a Queenstown vacation, and highly recommended.

ShosangThe price was great, really affordable. Parking is limited, and many spots without the hotel's logo require payment, so be careful not to make a mistake. Overall, the room conditions were excellent, and there's a simple, free gym. It's a 5-minute drive to Queenstown Airport and 15 minutes to the city center, so it's right by the airport – perfect for those with a car. There's also a washing machine, dryer, and a heated towel rail.

JulesTClean, tidy, and generally comfortable stay. The room was quite compact, but there was just enough space to store and open large suitcases, and there are heavy drawers under the bed for storage (no lock provided).
The building itself is narrow and compact, with quite a few stairs required to access the kitchen, bathrooms, lounge areas, and some rooms, which may be inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or limited mobility.
Our ground-floor room was directly below the shower units, and with thin walls, noise from water running, footsteps, and street traffic (as it’s centrally located on a main road) was noticeable. Light sleepers may find this disruptive.
Facilities are good, with two shared kitchens (stovetops, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery, and crockery), indoor and balcony seating areas, and a large lounge (TV plays DVDs only). There are multiple shared unisex bathrooms, including single units and a space with two showers and toilets. This may not suit everyone. Cleaned in the morning but gets dirty by end of day. On a positive, there are plenty of bath mats, liquid soap, and a hair dryer are provided.
Laundry is available via QR code payment (around $6 per wash or dry), and on-site parking is offered at $40 per night. Towel available for hire ($4).
Staff super friendly.

Guest UserYou can easily reach the hotel from the airport by taking the #1 bus. It's about a 15-20 minute ride. Get off at the Blue Peak stop, walk back, and cross the road. It's also not far from the town center, just a 10-15 minute walk. The next bus stop after Blue Peak is the main town center station and the Intercity bus stop. However, be aware that walking to the town center involves going down a really steep hill, so walking from the town center back to the hotel means walking uphill. This is something to keep in mind if you're arriving in Queenstown by Intercity bus rather than by plane. Also, note that there are two hotels called 'Copthorne', likely related, but they are not adjacent. This one is closer to the town center and closer to the lake. The hotel is quite large, and surprisingly, you take an elevator down from the front desk to reach the rooms. I booked a lake view room, and the view was genuinely good. During the off-season, it wasn't expensive, only about 100-200 RMB more than a standard room, offering excellent value for money! The room was also quite spacious, really great!

Guest UserThe most beautiful hotel in Queenstown, I regret not staying there longer. The outdoor lake view is absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. The room decor also perfectly captures a vacation vibe! If you're going to Queenstown, you absolutely *must* stay at this hotel, and definitely opt for the family room. It's fully equipped with a well-designed layout, perfect for cooking and laundry. The master bedroom opens right up to the amazing view – a perfect spot to relax and soak it all in.

adolalalalaFantastic experience! Booking a one-bedroom lake-view room felt like a steal, especially since I got a top-floor unit – the views were absolutely incredible. When checking in, there was a credit card issue, but the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and allowed me to use cash as a deposit. Checkout was quick and efficient. A crucial tip: make sure to email ahead to reserve a parking spot. My mid-to-large SUV fit into the hotel's car park without any problem. Next time I'm in Queenstown, I'd love to stay longer!

chiichan_desuyoBeing in the city center, it's very convenient to get around, and close to the InterCity bus and airport shuttle stops. It's also about a 10-minute walk to places for tours like Milford Sound. I'd say the location is excellent!
The room itself was very clean, and even though all the beds were occupied, the other guests in the room were quiet, which made it easy to sleep.
The building itself also looked very clean from the outside.
However, it was a shame that there were no power outlets near the beds, no hairdryer in the bathroom, and the common areas were incredibly dirty – though that might have just been bad luck with the other guests staying at the time.
Considering the price, if you can overlook these issues, it's probably worth staying. I'd consider staying here again.
