This Queenstown trip involved three nights at different hotels due to tight availability: Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel, Ramada by Wyndham Queenstown Central, and Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa. Park Boutique left the deepest impression. Though not downtown, its location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a 5-minute walk to the town center. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, with a nightly wine tasting salon. Breakfast featured a partial buffet with main courses ordered à la carte. However, each guest could only order their main course once. Ideally, a second order could be offered for an additional fee, allowing larger groups to sample more dishes. The best part was the practical facilities: a small kitchen, a bathroom with separate wet and dry zones, and a mattress that was perfectly firm and comfortable. Surprisingly, there was even a fireplace, adding warmth to slightly chilly evenings. In short, if you're heading to Queenstown for a relaxing getaway, Park Boutique is the ideal place to stay.

eeeekkkkThe hotel is right by Lake Wakatipu, so the location is excellent. We booked a suite with a lake view, and the room was very new and comfortable. However, the parking fee was a bit expensive at $40 a day.

Extremely close to the airport, just a five-minute drive to the hotel. Free parking is available, and there's a Woolworths and other supermarkets downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping.

It's been three or four days since I returned home from my trip to New Zealand, and I still can't stop thinking about its beautiful scenery. The hotel's environment and views are absolutely stunning, and the rooms are spacious and grand. The overall experience was incredibly comfortable and I genuinely recommend it.
I especially want to praise the young man who checked us in. He was professional and very kind. He patiently guided us when we parked and even proactively helped us with our luggage – so thoughtful and attentive. When he saw that I had bought some R.M. Williams clothing, he sincerely complimented my taste, saying it was a 'good choice,' and shared that he also loves the brand, even having the same belt. It created such a great sense of connection.
He had just the right amount of humor and wit, and our chat was really uplifting. When I casually asked if I had tried skydiving or bungee jumping locally, and I said I was too scared to try, he leaned in and quietly whispered, 'Me either,' which instantly made me feel a lot closer and more comfortable. Afterwards, he patiently and thoroughly explained all the room's facilities. His service throughout was caring and warm, making the trip extra healing. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Anonymous UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. You need to exchange coins to use the laundry room. The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop, making it very accessible. I highly recommend staying here. I think it's been rebranded as a Voco now.

Guest UserI've stayed in bunk-style hostels before, but this one was much taller and more spacious, which was great. The only downside is that climbing to the top bunk felt quite high and a bit scary.
It's nice that they provide towels, especially for a hostel. Considering how expensive accommodation is in Queenstown, this place offers good value for money.
My only regret is that they sell alcohol in the kitchen, so you can't drink wine or other alcoholic beverages you've bought from outside.

StevenSzeto_HKThe staff are nice and friendly. Good to have the water refill machine at the lobby and the hotel room is clean and tidy. The only issue is they have a limited number of carpark space and need to book for the carpark space in advance, but there are still lots of public street parking space next to the hotel as well. So generally everything is good and worth for money!

Guest UserYou can easily reach the hotel from the airport by taking the #1 bus. It's about a 15-20 minute ride. Get off at the Blue Peak stop, walk back, and cross the road. It's also not far from the town center, just a 10-15 minute walk. The next bus stop after Blue Peak is the main town center station and the Intercity bus stop. However, be aware that walking to the town center involves going down a really steep hill, so walking from the town center back to the hotel means walking uphill. This is something to keep in mind if you're arriving in Queenstown by Intercity bus rather than by plane. Also, note that there are two hotels called 'Copthorne', likely related, but they are not adjacent. This one is closer to the town center and closer to the lake. The hotel is quite large, and surprisingly, you take an elevator down from the front desk to reach the rooms. I booked a lake view room, and the view was genuinely good. During the off-season, it wasn't expensive, only about 100-200 RMB more than a standard room, offering excellent value for money! The room was also quite spacious, really great!

Amber Jong“Fantastic stay – highly recommend!”
I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
