Hotels near Tongli Town, Suzhou

Quaint little place tucked away next to Ping Jiang Road. A little way off the main road (Da ru Alley) for drop off, but the staff is sweet to move our luggages there for us on checking out. Rooms well furnished with everything we need and free snacks and drinks. Do give it a try.

The hotel is new and its design is modern with great smell. Staffs were friendly and offered assistance all the time even some of them couldn't speak English, really appreciate it. Room was so clean, bed and pillows are soft and support sleeping very well. Breakfast were assortment of foods and delicious. I personally loved hotel environment with peaceful and calm vibe. Facilities were hygiene, especially swimming pool. The closest metro is about 300-500 m. far which is not an issue for me.

This hotel is just too comprehensive, with both a cafe and a bakery! The facilities are all brand new. It was my first time seeing such a cute little wooden comb, and it was so good to use! The room was very bright, clean, and odorless. The TV was also super big, and the bedding was very soft on the skin. A bathrobe and a Laifen hairdryer were provided. The service was very attentive. Because I was busy with work, I could order coffee and pastries to be delivered to my room, and any requests I had were promptly taken care of – very thoughtful. Jinji Lake is absolutely beautiful! I was here to watch a play, and the hotel's location is right next to the Suzhou Culture and Arts Center, just a short walk away. The scenery is lovely both in the morning and evening. I'll definitely be back!

Perfect location, metro station right by the hotel, very close to moon pier and other touristic attractions. The restaurant was too crowded, though, almost impossible to find a table during peak hours, but the food was OK. Good for families. The only negative thing I can say is that some guests smoked in their rooms with their doors open despite the floor being a non smoking one, and the hotel personnel saw them but didn’t warn them, don’t know why. The whole corridor smelled of smoke because of that.

We had an absolutely great experience here! When researching where to stay in Suzhou, Pan Pacific came up in most reviews, so we had high expectations and the experience completely lived up to them. We stayed for two nights and would love to return whenever we come back to Suzhou. It’s truly worth it. The property is grand and beautiful, just like in the photos, the room and amenities felt like a five-star hotel at an unbelievable price. In-house guests also get free access to the ancient Panmen Gate, which the area is directly connected from the hotel. The check-in process may take a little longer if arrive at the same time as groups, but all the staff were friendly and helpful. Not every one speaking fluent English, but they were all friendly. And shout out to lovely Concierge named Ivy 郑明泽, when we were trying to ask for help to buy the yoghurt drink as we couldn’t find in any places we went before, she was the one helping us by using her own mobile and even delivered us by the door herself 🥹

This hotel is located just by the Pingjiang Street. When I have to enter a small alley to the lobby I was a bit sceptical but when I checked in the room, I was amazed by the coziness of the room, and the space is also big. My hotel faces the river so it offers a very good view. I will dedinitely come back again.

This very cozy, well-located guest house is one of the nicest places I've stayed during two months in China. The owners are very sweet and kind and take care of their place well. The rooms are immaculately clean. The balcony right on the water was a selling point for me. Morning tea there with a snack is a beautiful way to begin your day. Wifi is very good. Beds are very comfortable! It's right in the center of Tongli Ancient City which is a really neat place with tons of photo opportunities. From Suzhou railway station you take metro line 4 to the last stop. Then go out at exit 9 or 10 and you'll see the ART electric bus to take you right to the North gate of Tongli. It's free! It's about an hour altogether, but so nice to stay in Tongli.
