Haikou Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"This room was temporarily set before the ferry, because there are fewer pet friendly, so the order is more rushed, it is a surprise! I arrived at 9 o'clock that night, and I haven't paid attention to the outside scenery. It's so beautiful to pull the curtains in the morning! The house is also open and the eyes are bright, and the real thing is better than the photo. The room is large, and it is very suitable for four people to live in a family trip! Parking is convenient, very close to the night market, and the breakfast shop at the intersection downstairs is also delicious! This must be given five stars! When checking out, the landlord also reimbursed the overnight parking fee. It was really intimate and warm. PS: Although it is pet-friendly, we are also qualified pet owners. We brought our own sheets and quilts, and also brought pet toilets and food basins. I don't want the next guest to be picky about the landlord! Don't worry, everyone ～"

"Service: First, I want to commend Lesly Huang for her enthusiastic and professional service. On the day of check-in, she arranged a room upgrade for us and seamlessly joined the twin beds, which made for a very comfortable sleep – truly the biggest bonus of this stay. The pool staff were also excellent, patiently accompanying the children to switch the water slide on and off, even under the hot sun. The restaurant staff were equally warm and accommodating. Kudos to the Sheraton Haikou for its excellent service! Cleanliness: Standard five-star hotel level, no issues there. Environment: See the pictures for details. The pool has large slides, separated for children and adults (operating during specific time slots daily), and there's a hot spring pool in the evening (very relaxing). One minor complaint: the hotel clearly has East and West wings, and the restaurant also has two entrances, but only the West wing entrance was open. We walked all the way from the East wing to the restaurant door, only to find a 'closed' sign, forcing us to turn back (either by going up and down floors or walking around the perimeter under the scorching sun). I suggest clearer signage on the path from the East wing to the restaurant. Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit older, the room equipment is generally well-maintained. Only some rooms have TV casting capabilities, so if you need this, inform the front desk in advance. The breakfast restaurant's tableware was the biggest letdown of this trip. For a five-star hotel's noodle bar, all the bowls were chipped. On the first day, I almost cut my mouth. Over two days, I picked up 4-6 chipped bowls – even an ordinary restaurant wouldn't do this. See the pictures for details. Not only was it unappetizing, but it also posed a safety hazard. I asked the restaurant manager, who said it was a quality issue with this batch of bowls, purchased only three months ago. It's unacceptable for a Sheraton to still be using bowls in this condition after three months. PS: The hotel is directly connected to the beach, no need to cross any roads. It's a 5-minute walk through the hotel grounds from the lobby to the sea. It's convenient for digging in the sand, and the beach is managed by the municipality and seemed quite clean. So, for a family vacation in Haikou, the Sheraton is still recommended."

Just dial the front desk from your room or fill out the laundry slip, and a staff member will come to collect your clothes. You don't have to lift a finger, and they'll return them freshly washed and ironed to your room! This service truly feels five-star. 👌 🍹 **All-in-One Dining, Drinking & Entertainment** ▪️ **Complimentary Minibar:** The mini-fridge in the room is stocked with drinks you can enjoy freely (it's included in your benefits!). ▪️ **Recreational Facilities:** There's also an outdoor swimming pool and a gym on the top floor, perfect for snapping some great photos or getting a workout in. ▪️ **Breakfast & Coffee:** The breakfast spread is very diverse, with both Chinese and Western options. "The views from Sofitel Haikou are absolutely stunning! The sky lobby on the 35th floor offers direct panoramic views of both the city and the ocean, and the buffet restaurant on the 34th floor also features floor-to-ceiling windows. The location is incredibly convenient, close to Sky Mountain and the Cloud Library, and right next to MixC shopping mall, making shopping and dining super easy. The front desk staff arranged a fantastic room for us. We'll definitely be back!"

"I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is very quiet, spacious and elegant. The room was immaculate and the WiFi was very fast and efficient. I was able to carry out all my work meetings without any interruptions. The hotel is only 15/20 min away by taxi from the beach so the location is very convenient. Do not expect the pool to be for relaxation. It is quiet small and purely decorative, but perfect for taking nice pictures!"

"True to its reputation as a venerable five-star hotel in the city, everything from its location and design to its facilities and service is top-notch. EX, who handled both the front desk and concierge duties, helped us upgrade our room during check-in. We got a spacious sea-view room with fantastic scenery, and they even thoughtfully converted the living room sofa into a sofa bed. The hotel's foam party and pool were a huge hit with the kids. On our second night, we opted for the BBQ buffet on the hotel's lawn – incredibly delicious and excellent value for money. We were lucky enough to have the entire lawn to ourselves that evening, enjoying one-on-one service from the chef. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit Haikou!"

"My experience at Four Points by Sheraton Haikou was fantastic! The location is excellent, close to the airport, and the 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spacious and bright, clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and a well-designed bathroom with separate wet and dry areas. The front desk staff were warm and efficient. Breakfast was rich and varied, and the facilities were comprehensive, including a fitness center and a swimming pool. It's very convenient for getting around and offers great value for money, perfect for both business trips and vacations. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Haikou!"

"The location is a bit out of the way, not in the city center, and the hotel rooms and facilities are relatively old. However, the breakfast was much better than at the Langham. After staying for one night, I felt the hotel had a unique style. They were very responsive to any issues, and the service felt genuinely sincere. I'd definitely stay here again; it's perfect for relaxing. Enjoying the evening breeze and stargazing on the big lawn was incredibly comfortable."

"I visited before the May Day holiday, so it wasn't crowded. They upgraded my room, and I have to say, the Westin beds are incredibly massive – I've never seen one so big, it's like a traditional 'kang' bed from the countryside! 😂 Definitely an experience. However, the bedding is on the softer side, which might be uncomfortable for those with back issues. The weather in Hainan hasn't been very hot recently, so the pool water was still a bit chilly, not ideal for very young babies. The bathroom floor was so damp that white scale powder had surfaced. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around by taxi. The river view from the window is nice, and the Century Bridge view is fantastic. Special shout-out to Mr. Bao at the entrance – his service was exceptional, and he was very friendly. He even gave me a small gift when I left."
