AAnonymous UserI don't know of any other hotel that is as wonderful and perfect as this. We stayed here on our honeymoon. They prepared a surprise for us, and we never had to wait in line for the cafe. The room had high ceilings, was kept clean, and we could see the Opera House from the window. Everything was perfect. There was always a doorman on hand, so we were able to start and end our day beautifully. It's located in the city center, so sightseeing is easy to do. I'd like to visit here every time we have an anniversary. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

LLINGBINGThe service is super good, our room minibar is free, coffee free drinking water can also let aunt take a few bottles. If you have any questions, you can find the front desk. When you come back, you can also book a taxi for us. The speed is very fast and the breakfast is rich. The location is not very central, slightly northerly, going to the inner city for one or two kilometers, there are too few people nearby, and the street is empty.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations. First, let me talk about the service, which I would say is exceptional. Our room was cleaned meticulously every day, with two services, one in the morning and one in the evening. The room itself was also very spacious, which is a pleasant surprise as European hotel rooms tend to be smaller; the size of this room was just perfect for me. Secondly, the location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center, making it incredibly convenient to get to any attraction. Just a short walk to the right from the hotel entrance is the Golden Hall. They even thoughtfully provide umbrellas on rainy days. Thirdly, the hotel perfectly blends modern and classic styles. You'll find a very classical elevator in the lobby, but if you have luggage, there's a separate modern elevator available. Fourthly, the price of this hotel is also quite reasonable. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, dining, and drinking options. If I ever have the chance to visit Vienna again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

VVincent ValeranFrom the moment you step into the Philippe Starck–designed lobby, the hotel feels less like a place to stay and more like an immersive experience. The design is daring yet refined, blending contemporary art, dramatic lighting, and panoramic city views in a way that feels uniquely Viennese and unmistakably SO/. The rooms are stunning: sleek, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame Vienna like a living postcard. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the bathrooms feel spa-like, and every detail—from the lighting controls to the curated minibar—speaks to both style and functionality. Service is where SO/ Vienna truly shines. The staff are warm, intuitive, and genuinely eager to elevate your stay, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and personal care - A couple of named stays in mind : Claudia, Dally, etc… Whether it’s a restaurant recommendation, a special request, or simply a welcoming smile, everything is handled with ease and grace. The location is ideal—steps from the Danube Canal and within easy reach of the historic city center—making it perfect for both exploring Vienna and retreating into a chic urban sanctuary. And the rooftop restaurant and bar? Absolutely unforgettable. The views over the city, especially at sunset, combined with excellent cuisine and cocktails, create a highlight you’ll be talking about long after you leave. SO/ Vienna is not just a hotel; it’s a statement. Perfect for travelers who appreciate design, comfort, and a touch of the extraordinary. I wouldn’t hesitate to return—and to recommend it wholeheartedly.

LLenshyuuI stayed for 3 days, and the service mostly met my expectations. They helped with luggage, and the turndown service and daily room cleaning were all provided as they should be. The rooftop bar also offers a nice view. There's a gym and a pool downstairs too. Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good. The room had high ceilings, and the view outside the window was also pleasant. Since it's right next to the City Park, it's very close to the station for the Airport Express (CAT) and places like the Musikverein (Golden Hall). From the hotel, you can reach Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, or Hofburg Palace within 20 minutes by metro or tram. By the way, buying a city card that includes the airport pass is quite worthwhile (the hop-on hop-off bus didn't seem to have much purpose). Public transport is excellent; the metro and trams are very well-developed, and they run late, pretty much covering everything you'd need. The CAT goes directly from the airport to City Park in one stop, taking only 16 minutes.

GGuest UserBeautiful new hotel, the hardware is great, the software is not so good. We chose to travel to Vienna before Christmas in the peak season, the price was more than 7,000 without breakfast. When we checked in, the white woman at the front desk arranged an accessible room without being informed. It was inconvenient in various ways. We asked to change the room, but they said there was no room. They also said that we got a large room for free, implying that I should be content. I asked Ctrip to help us deal with it, and the next day I packed my luggage and changed to a room that was said to be upgraded. When I left, I applied for a late check-out. Please arrange someone at the front desk to help me take the luggage, because there is a section of stairs to take the elevator downstairs, and my shoulders and waist were injured and I couldn’t exert too much force. As a result, the same white woman arranged it after we waited for 20 minutes and contacted three times. When we checked out and called a car to go to the train station, the train was one minute away from leaving, so we had to spend more than 300 euros to buy a new ticket to Prague. The train ticket we booked before was also invalid and could not be refunded due to timeout. I gave this white woman a tip when she took us to the room for the first time. Later, I asked Ctrip to help complain, and the hotel replied that I should arrange unpredictable delays reasonably in the future. I could only laugh. If I have the chance to go to Vienna again in the future, I will choose the reliable Mandarin Oriental. Mandarin Oriental Vienna opened 25 years ago. From the service point of view, whether in China or abroad, Mandarin Oriental's service has never disappointed me.

GGuest UserVery convenient location, right behind the railway station, 15-20 min from the airport. Spacious, clean rooms with all required amenities. Although there were no hygienic shower in the bathroom. Exquisite breakfast with fresh and local produce. Helpful staff. One could ask for custom options during breakfast. We had a very positive experience.

CChristopherLovely, quirky hotel in an excellent location. It's an easy walk into central Vienna, and sites like the Parliament, Rathaus and Leopold Museum are practically on the doorstep. Transport links around Vienna are excellent, with the U2 station almost within shouting distance. Staff speak excellent English, and are friendly and helpful. Comfortable, if smallish room, and well sound insulated. Only fault is the erratic WiFi. It often dropped, making streaming a frustrating experience. The onsite restaurant makes decent pizza at a good price - a decent option if you don't fancy going out.

JJTSydneyBooked this hotel for 2 nights in Vienna. Location wise, it's not the most convenient. It is not within walking distance to either the main train station or the city center. The closest metro station is about a 5-7 minutes walk. It is predominantly a residential area but there are some good and cheap eateries near the metro station. The hotel is part of a sports club (hence the name Sportshotel). There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves great food at reasonable price. The hotel also has a sauna which is free for guests of the hotel to use but I haven't tried it. The room itself is quite spacious with the usual amenities minus a kettle (so can't make coffee or tea in your room)! Not sure whether this is typical for all hotels but other hotels I've stayed in neighboring countries all have kettle. It is very clean with daily cleaning. It has a big window which gets quite a bit of sunlight and a safe to store valuables.

GGuest UserWhen I checked in, the desk person didn’t seem to have information about my prior payment or what I had booked (I did show him my receipt, which he accepted), but he first sent me to a tiny room with a single small twin bed. I had to go back to the desk and show him that I had paid for a larger room with either a double bed or two single beds. He then gave me a much larger room with a double bed, but 1) the booking itself should have shown that the room was prepaid in full, and 2) the booking  should have shown him what kind of room I had booked, and 3) he should have looked at the receipt I showed him to confirm what room I had paid for.  The whole check-in process was weird and being first sent to a very inferior room was annoying!
