Guest UserThe location is superb! The manager knew we had an elderly person with us and was concerned about noise, so they kindly upgraded us to a higher floor. With the windows closed, it was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious too, and they even offer free luggage delivery, which is a great bonus. This is my third time visiting Changsha, and I've always had a good impression. If I have the chance to come back, I'll definitely stay at Orange Crystal again.

Guest UserWe stopped in Changsha for a night with our child on the way to Zhangjiajie, and chose the Wanda Vista. It was a very satisfying stay! Stellar, our butler at Wanda Vista Changsha, was incredibly attentive and responsive, proactively reaching out to us early to inquire about our check-in preferences. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the concierge and room service staff were warm and helpful, responding promptly to any requests. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel's overall ambiance was elegant and grand, making for a comfortable stay. Located near the Xiang River, we took an evening stroll to see Orange Isle, then walked back to the lobby where we were offered delicious snacks and a small bowl of sweet soup before heading back to our room to relax. It made our trip and sightseeing so convenient and easy.

Anonymous UserThe hotel's location is quite easy to find; you can spot the sign right from the entrance of Taiping Street. However, the actual hotel entrance is down a very dim alley, and water keeps dripping from the building next door, making it hard to avoid when walking by. Once inside, it feels like the hotel has been around for a while, and the elevator is a bit old. Getting a good room seems to be a matter of luck. My room had absolutely no window view, and with obstructions outside, the natural light wasn't great either. The humidity in the room was pretty extreme; the floor would stay wet for ages after housekeeping, and pants I'd dampened the day before wouldn't dry even after half a day in the air-conditioned room, extending into the next afternoon.
There are no USB charging ports in the room, so if you have multiple devices, you'll need to bring enough adapters. Also, the bedside outlets aren't sufficient, and the placement of the sofa, desk, and outlets is awkward, making it inconvenient to use a laptop unless you're working curled up by the bed. So, for those who need to work, I wouldn't really recommend it.
There's no single switch to control all the lights in the room, so you have to turn them off one by one. The bedside switches also lack any labels, so you have to try them all to figure out what they do. The lighting in the room itself didn't feel bright enough, and the light sources were uneven, making it insufficient for applying makeup. Unlike other electrical appliances, the air conditioning doesn't turn on automatically when you insert your room card; you have to manually switch it on every time you enter the room.
Even though the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the sliding door is single-paneled, meaning only one side can be closed. If you slide it all the way to one side, there's no door on the other. Also, the sink is quite shallow, so water splashes everywhere if the water pressure is high or you're washing something. There were also quite a few white stains in the nooks and crannies of the bathroom, possibly from years of use, which didn't look very hygienic. Both the wooden and concrete walls in the room were pitted and stained, and the sofa cover also had dirt on it. These things don't affect the functionality of the stay but are psychologically off-putting. However, the guest experience is often heavily influenced by these tiny details. A small suggestion: if they renovate in the future, I'd recommend using lighter shades like grey for the floor tiles and walls, and darker colors for fabric items like sofa covers, as they hide dirt better and look more refined. The black tiles at the entrance and in the bathroom really show every speck of dirt... Compared to other hotels, it might not be truly dirty, but visually, it's a big disadvantage.
I had high expectations because I really liked the decor style shown in the online photos, but my stay was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the complimentary amenity kit included cotton pads (which I didn't get at Atour where I stayed a few days prior, and most hotels don't provide them). Also, the service was attentive and responsive, and the staff even helped with washing and drying clothes (which deserves a big shout-out; they even folded them neatly after they were dry, sniff). But! I booked for three days in total, and after staying one night, I discovered the price for the same room type on the platform for the same period dropped by over 50 yuan per night! Infuriating!!!

Guest UserThe hotel offers excellent views and is incredibly close to Orange Isle, Wuyi Square, IFS, Pozi Street, and Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street – you're there as soon as you step out. I absolutely loved the cakes in the hotel's executive lounge; I still miss them even now! Special praise goes to every single staff member in the lounge, whose attitudes were exceptionally good. Even after leaving Changsha, my child kept talking about the 'beautiful older sisters' there. Whether for business or traveling with kids, Grand Hyatt is always the top choice. Next time I'm here, I'll definitely choose Grand Hyatt Changsha again.

Anonymous UserThe good: The room is attractive, comfortable, and functional. The bathroom is private with a proper door and no glass wall. The rainhead in the shower is excellent. Plus it had a regular toilet (I hate smart toilets). I'd stay here again simply for these points.
The breakfast is also completely awesome!
The bad: The service was below standard overall. The cleaning service was lacking. For example, they only gave one bath towel and one hand towel each day! And, on the second day, they didn't give another washing detergent sachet for the washing machine. The front desk service is average, not entirely welcoming (but I've found this is quite normal in hotels now). However, these things can be dealt with. The aircon really only had two settings, 25 degrees was freezing, and 26 degrees was hot. We had to keep switching between the two. And then, i guess as preemptive karma for writing these negative points, i then cut my finger on a screw thread sticking out of the shelf in the bathroom cabinet just as i was leaving!

Y, at the front desk, provided meticulous and thoughtful service; they were gentle, polite, and responded promptly and considerately. Professionalism was evident in every detail. The dining quality was excellent, and the facilities were comprehensive. My entire stay was relaxed and comfortable, with convenient access to everything. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

LizhouThe room was very spacious. We booked a twin room, and I apologize for this, but the three of us moved the beds together. My apologies to the housekeeping staff who had to tidy up afterward.
The service was excellent. They readily replenished water bottles and quickly brought up extra toiletries when requested. It was also very convenient that they could provide an extra key card for my friend who came back later at night.
The view from the window was decent; you could see a partial river view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the night scenery was beautiful. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old and not very smart, but that's it.
Most importantly, there was a dead praying mantis in the room that looked like it had been there for a while, as its body had already turned yellow.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's conveniently located right next to a subway entrance, making transportation super easy. The room facilities are quite new, and the hygiene conditions are good. Definitely worth recommending! The front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. When you're traveling, all you really want is comfort and ease of communication, and this place delivers on that perfectly.

This is my second time staying here in Changsha, and I'm very grateful the hotel upgraded me to a larger room! The toilet flush didn't work every time, and the bathroom walls and window sills looked a bit old; I'd suggest they be updated. The breakfast was plentiful, but finishing by 10 AM felt a bit rushed. It's great that there's a pool, though I recommend bringing your own swimming cap. It's a bit of a distance from the subway station, so taking a taxi is more convenient.
