This hotel, built on the former site of Yida Silk Factory, is a sight to behold in itself. Tucked away in the heart of the town, it offers a serene and beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. With the help of our lovely butler, check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth. Following video instructions, we arrived at the Wuzhen parking garage where our butler was already waiting for us, instantly easing any apprehension about visiting a new place for the first time. After entering the scenic area, we took a boat through the entirety of Wuzhen to reach the hotel, truly experiencing the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town from the water. The hotel's butler service truly lives up to its name; unlike many hotels with WeChat concierges who are often slow to respond, every request here was met with an immediate and efficient reply, which was incredibly warm and thoughtful. All in all, I highly recommend Yida as a five-star hotel in Wuzhen. It was definitely the highlight of our perfect trip to Wuzhen! My only regret is not asking for the name of our young, enthusiastic, and very helpful butler. I wish her all the best!

For our two-night stay in Wuzhen, we chose 'Jintang'. Upon arrival at the scenic area, we were greeted by the handsome and steady 'Xiao Fan' at the entrance. He arranged a sculling boat for us, which took us along the waterway directly to Jintang. Pushing open the two-story antique wooden doors, we were met with a striking combination of vermillion and emerald green. It was a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern. As I savored a cup of crimson hibiscus tea, Xiao Fan had already completed our check-in. He also set up our facial recognition for entering and exiting the scenic area. Xiao Fan then led us through the hall and around the landscape to our room. The room featured dark green wallpaper adorned with plum blossoms, complementing a vermillion bronze bed. With the tea snacks and afternoon tea on the table, accompanied by refreshing green tea, our three-day Wuzhen journey officially began. A big thank you to the thoughtful service from the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Jintang, and especially to Xiao Fan!

AipingI’ve never written a review after a trip before, but this time I’ve decided to seriously review every hotel I've stayed in. This is to give future guests more reliable information, as choosing hotels was the most time-consuming and effort-intensive part of planning this trip. Guest reviews were crucial for my decision-making, so I hope to help others in the same way.
This was by far the most satisfying hotel of my entire trip, exceeding my expectations and definitely worth the money. Before arrival, a butler contacted me to ask for my arrival time and waited for me in the parking lot. They guided me into the scenic area and even provided a boat service to the hotel, allowing me to enjoy the scenery along the way – a wonderful start to my stay. The hotel lobby was incredibly stylish, truly giving off the vibe of entering a grand, opulent estate. The views were also fantastic, and the service was beyond words. Check-in was handled entirely by the butler, while I simply relaxed and enjoyed some tea. Breakfast was a la carte, unlimited, with a wide variety of choices, and the quality was excellent; everything was exquisitely prepared with good ingredients. The room design was very thoughtful and considerate, and they even prepared foot bath water for me. The butler was always available to arrange anything I needed. The Dan Cha Fan restaurant directly opposite the hotel was also very good. With views right from the window, enjoying a meal there was a truly great experience. If you’re not concerned about budget and prioritize quality, you should definitely choose this hotel. Its location is also very convenient. All in all, this isn't just one of the best hotels from this trip, but one of the few truly satisfying hotels I’ve stayed in across many travels.

Jeremiah AYHighly recommended for a relaxed, VIP experience in Wuzhen! We stayed for 1 night at the Wuzhen Club House (Sheng Ting) and had a great experience.
1. Cleanliness: Very good, especially considering it's a refurbished old heritage building with traditional wooden furniture. Everything was well-maintained and spotless.
2. Amenities & Food: The room amenities are basic for the same reason, but completely sufficient for a simple, comfortable stay. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise—quite a large spread of delicious local specialties.
3. Location: Fantastic. It sits right near the middle of the West Scenic Area (Xi Zha), making it the perfect base for exploring. The best part of staying inside the scenic area is that the late nights and early mornings are incredibly quiet, which is perfect for crowd-free photo taking.
4. Service: Absolutely outstanding, you really get VIP treatment. The hotel reached out to us before our stay to provide arrival info and set up a group chat to keep in touch. Our assigned housekeeper, Xiao Chen, met us right at the car drop-off point and guided us all the way to the hotel. He took care of everything—arranging our breakfast, ensuring our room was in order, and attending to our every need. He also gave us a great overview of the scenic area, recommended local food options, made restaurant reservations for us, and even walked us right to the departure point when we checked out.
Highly recommend booking a stay here to experience Wuzhen at a relaxed pace with VIP treatment. It is especially great if you are traveling with kids, as you can easily return to the room multiple times throughout the day to rest and decompress.

The service was exceptional, from being picked up at the parking lot to the smooth check-in process at the hotel. After check-out, we were also driven back to the parking lot. The hotel is quiet and elegant, and the rooms are very spacious. Most other hotels within the scenic area are quite small, so I chose this one and wasn't disappointed. We could see the tributary from the balcony, and my child even chatted with the old man cleaning the river. Overall, the stay was fantastic. The only issue was the sticky, squeaking sound the disposable slippers made on the tiled floor, especially at night, which disturbed my family's sleep. I'm not sure if it was the slippers or the floor, perhaps the floor cleaner wasn't rinsed properly. Also, the morning dim sum experience was just average; there wasn't much good food, and it was hard to find a seat. I assume the hotel's breakfast would have been better.

Accommodation: The facilities were well-maintained, and our room was clean, hygienic, and very comfortable.
Dining: We thoroughly enjoyed the dining options, including the Chinese restaurant, the organic cafe, and the breakfast spread. The ingredients were fresh, which gave us peace of mind.
Service: The service truly stood out – it was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, with staff always going the extra mile. A special mention to the cleaning staff: one housekeeper proactively offered me sanitary pads and brown sugar when she noticed I wasn't feeling well. Another time, during breakfast, the staff kindly helped me carry food to my table while I was holding my child.
Family-Friendly Amenities: There's an indoor Montessori kids' club, which, while not huge, is a nice option. Right across from the hotel is an organic farm; it's perfect for a leisurely walk if the weather permits and has a lovely French chateau ambiance.
Photography: We used the 'Qidu Travel Photography' service. They were very efficient and even gifted us three complimentary photos. We were extremely pleased with the results!

Guest UserMy stay at Pullman Haining was absolutely fantastic this time around! ✨ The lobby boasts an elegant and grand design, with mustard yellow sofas complementing artistic floor tiles, giving it a truly stylish vibe. The restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of lush greenery, making for an incredible dining experience with amazing ambiance. The room details were also thoughtfully done; the toiletries were high-quality, and the towels were clean and soft. The floral arrangements in the public areas were exquisitely crafted, exuding sophistication everywhere you looked. The service was attentive and considerate, making for a truly comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Haining!

The room directly faced a construction site, and the view outside the window was very dusty. The toilet and shower were on par with what you'd find in a budget hotel. Soundproofing was very poor; I could hear the sound of someone playing on their phone next door while trying to sleep. We were given two rooms right in front of the elevators, which were noisy and disturbed our sleep. However, the hotel is very close to the entrance of Puyuan Ancient Town, making it convenient to enter and exit the scenic area.

cherrysjmI booked the courtyard view room for a three-day, two-night stay, and for a staycation, it was a bit disappointing.
Service: The hotel didn't offer a butler service, and no one informed us about the available activities. I had to ask about the travel photography, and only stumbled upon the tie-dye activity by chance. I have no idea what else there might have been. The welcome fruit in the room was just the three items shown in the picture, not the nougat and tea mentioned in other reviews. Maybe my membership tier wasn't high enough? >_<
There was no pre-departure call, but I did receive a call asking for feedback after checking out.
For the travel photography, they offered 5 free photos, and additional ones were 80 yuan each, with discounts for bulk purchases. The photographer did a good job. However, the 'fine-tuning' felt like a one-click edit; a hole in the umbrella prop was still visible in the retouched photos, which was quite sloppy >_<. When I inquired about buying all the original photos, I was told it was also 80 yuan per photo, so I decided against it. In the end, I bought 35 photos and got a 15% discount.
On the positive side,
The hotel itself is beautiful and very photogenic.
The Sanbai Bar has a great atmosphere and isn't crowded. You can charge drinks to your room, and in-house guests get a 10% discount.
Breakfast variety was also quite good, with cheese, ham, and salmon available. Several made-to-order items were offered à la carte, which helped avoid queues.

We booked the Octonauts-themed family suite, and we were absolutely delighted with the room. The ceilings were high, and the layout was very well-thought-out. The three large plush toys on the sofa immediately caught our child's eye as soon as we walked in – they couldn't move! The room was very quiet, and the private hot spring on the balcony was a hit with the little one. The hotel's main hot spring is just downstairs, and guests can access it twice a day during their stay, plus one more time on check-out day. With restaurants and a cat café within the resort, our stay was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable! It would be even more perfect if the family suite included a complimentary breakfast for children.
