"The hotel is relatively new and clean. It's right next to Wanda Plaza, so when we arrived in Jiaxing at night, we just went to the underground floor of Wanda to eat and explore. We could use points to offset the room rate, which made the price very reasonable. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich; both adults and children could find something they liked. The hotel is also not far from Nanhu Lake and the church. The photography spots at Huanxi Bookstore and the church are really great for Instagram!"

"Overall, it's a great hotel. Located in the historic district, the surroundings are beautiful. For my personal taste, the interior design of the hotel is a bit on the cool side, with cement-colored floors, walls, and ceilings. The room lighting is also a bit dim, making it feel a little monotonous and oppressive. The breakfast area is a bit cramped, but everything else is perfectly fine."

"The hotel is right next to Yuehe Ancient Town, making it super convenient to visit. The surrounding environment is also very pleasant. The hotel service is great too; they even gave us hand-knitted bracelets during the Dragon Boat Festival. On holidays, they provide snacks, and the complimentary preserved mangoes were delicious. The only downside is that the bar next door is quite loud. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite on the second floor and could still hear some noise."

"✨Hidden Gem by South Lake | Hyatt Place Jiaxing South Lake Visiting Jiaxing, I stayed at this newly opened Hyatt Place, and it completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel perfectly blends the charm of Jiangnan water towns with modern design. The lobby is spacious, and the central courtyard has an amazing atmosphere. The hotel's concierge service was superb. Before checking in, they proactively understood our needs and secured an excellent room type for us, arranging a sofa bed for the child. The front desk provided a complimentary room upgrade, welcome fruit, and free parking – it was truly worry-free. The actual stay was exactly as depicted in the design photos; there was no difference between the 'buyer's show' and the 'seller's show'! The location is a real plus. Just outside, you'll find Nanhu Tiandi, and it's a short stroll directly to the edge of South Lake. Watching the lake view in the evening is incredibly therapeutic. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering comfortable views. The bedding is soft, making for a great sleeping experience. The room comes with a sofa bed, which is very thoughtful for families with children as no extra bed is needed. The breakfast offers a good mix of Chinese and Western options. Besides the standard dishes, there are also local Jiaxing specialties, and the freshly ground coffee is delicious. The 24-hour gym allows for workouts anytime, and there are plenty of charging stations, making it very car-friendly. The front desk staff was patient, check-in was fast, and the overall service was gentle and attentive. Whether it's for a short getaway from Shanghai or Hangzhou, a family trip, or a business trip, this is an excellent choice for a stay in Jiaxing. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to South Lake!"

"Very satisfied. There are several commercial areas nearby, a Catholic church across the street, and it's also very close to the ancient street. Because it was raining, there were fewer people and the scenery was beautiful. The room I booked was small, but it was fully equipped and clean. The only downside was that the air conditioner was blowing directly on the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable. A big reason why I had a very comfortable time in Jiaxing was because of this great hotel booking. Highly recommended."
