StaphonieNestled between mountains and the sea, the Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay offers private hot spring pools in all its rooms, starting from 87㎡. It seamlessly blends Lingnan waterside village aesthetics with modern coastal design. Guests can enjoy distant views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Zhuhai Opera House. The hotel also features an outdoor infinity pool, boat tours around the lake, and freshly steamed Cantonese dim sum for breakfast. With impeccable attention to detail and attentive butler service, it's the perfect choice for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The hotel also provides a complimentary travel photography service. I highly recommend the photographer Xiao Wan (University).

The room is very design-conscious, with a bit of Chinese retro style. The breakfast is very exquisite. The view from the room is very wide, and the surrounding area is very quiet. The manager Zhao Rui at the front desk is very friendly. She helped me make an appointment for an aromatherapy balance SPA. The masseuse is very professional and I feel very relieved after the treatment. In short, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. I look forward to going there again next time!

Guest UserThe facilities are great! The room was very clean, and the gym was super convenient with lots of equipment. They also have a kids' play area and a swimming pool. The pool used to open at 6:00, but lately, I've been going later and it's been open until 7:00. The front desk service was excellent; they even went out of their way to let me use the gym for an extra hour when I arrived late. The restaurant is good too, and breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The entire hotel is built into the cliffside, with its architecture blending seamlessly with the mountains and sea. Every step offers a new scenic view. The public areas, such as the water courtyards, rock formations, and connecting corridors, boast a strong Lingnan design aesthetic, creating a truly atmospheric experience.
The guest rooms are spacious, even the standard ones, with a well-thought-out layout. Each room is fully equipped with a tea room and a scenic balcony. Opening the door reveals an endless view of the South China Sea, where you can witness both stunning sunrises and sunsets. The bedding is comfortable, and the attention to detail in the craftsmanship is evident. The welcome amenities are a thoughtful touch.
The service is the biggest plus. From the pier transfer to check-in, the entire process was smooth. Our butler, Colin, was attentive and responsive, helping us book all our activities.
Our stay with the kids exceeded expectations! The hotel facilities are top-notch, and the room space is more than ample, with the tatami tea room even serving as a play area for the children. There are indoor and outdoor children's play areas, and the hotel organizes nature explorations, crafts, and other parent-child activities, keeping the kids thoroughly entertained.
There's a dedicated shuttle service from the pier, and children's toiletries are provided upon check-in. The staff were very friendly towards the little ones. The cliffside infinity pool is great for a splash, and the coastal scenery is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is served until 11 am, which is perfect when you have kids and don't want to rush. Overall, it's quiet and not crowded, making it a top choice for a family vacation.

Guest UserFirst off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing – a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash.
Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K.
The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

TongqilianzhigzTraveling with kids in Guangdong, with temperatures soaring above 30℃, truly felt like a trial by fire! For our Zhuhai trip, we headed straight to the Gongbei Port and checked into the Zhuhai Wan Yue Hotel on the first day. I never expected that choosing the right hotel would cut my stress in half! This 'mom-friendly' itinerary was incredibly smooth. 👇
🗺️ Our Lazy First Day Itinerary in Zhuhai
• Arrival & Check-in: The hotel is at No. 28 Shuiwan Road, Gongbei, super close to the border crossing. We hopped out of the car and were checked in within seconds. This time, I specifically chose a family-themed room. The room was very spacious with one 2-meter wide bed and one 1.2-meter wide bed, giving us plenty of room with the little one. Although the side window offered views of the bustling city and a partial sea view, it was wonderfully quiet and not facing the street. The family room also thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and toys – full marks for attention to detail! It met all the essential needs for families with children.
• Hotel Fun: In the afternoon, we went straight to the heated pool and indoor kids' play area on the 5th floor. The water quality was clean, and there were staff supervising, so the kids played wildly for two hours.
• Dinner Delight: In the evening, we took the elevator up to the 'Wan Yue Xuan Seafood Restaurant' on the 22nd floor – this is where the real 'king's view' is! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. We enjoyed delicious Cantonese cuisine while admiring the bridge's night scenery.
• Seaside Stroll: After sunset, we headed to Binhai Park / Lovers' Road. The sea breeze blew away all our fatigue, and watching the distant bridge tower lights was super chill. The kids even got to build sandcastles.
• Breakfast Power-up: With both Western and Chinese options, plus Cantonese dim sum, we filled up early before heading out.
• Prime Location: Gongbei Port/High-Speed Rail Station are within walking distance, making it convenient to go to Macau, Chimelong, or downtown.

1078369251This place is excellent! The hotel service is great, the rooms are clean, and there's a balcony for drying clothes. They offer convenient shuttle services by electric car to the hot springs, Mystery Island, and the Pony Club, among other places. The hotel's Chinese restaurant isn't expensive, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is lovely. The Western restaurant also serves a good breakfast. The hotel's kids' club is perfect for younger children, and the pool is nice, though it seems people from outside the hotel can also use it for swimming. If you're booking a hotel package, I recommend getting one that includes the hotel buffet. Definitely avoid the package that comes with lunch at the 'Small Fish Restaurant'; the food quality isn't impressive, and the selection is very limited. The hotel buffet is much more upscale. Oh, and the performance in the hotel lobby at noon is absolutely stunning! I'd definitely visit again.

This stay at Angsana Zhuhai Hengqin was, to start, impressive in terms of its facilities. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, with picturesque views at every turn. The room type we stayed in was incredibly spacious, featuring an elegant new Chinese design with a large viewing balcony offering expansive vistas. There's also a big circular bathtub in the room, and the overall decor quality is top-notch. The indoor heated pool was also a pleasant experience. The hotel organizes a rich variety of daily parent-child crafts and leisure activities, which are great for entertaining kids.
However, the promotional package for this stay felt quite misleading and left a bad taste. First, the location is relatively remote, with very few amenities nearby, so you need to plan your transportation in advance. Additionally, the hot springs require an extra fee. The complimentary vouchers included in the package aren't direct deductions either: the 20 RMB beverage voucher is only a minimum spend voucher. A coffee, for example, is priced at 38 RMB, so after using the voucher, the actual price is almost the same as what you'd pay through a group purchase platform, offering no extra discount. Then there's the 288 RMB spa voucher, which has a very high threshold, requiring you to choose a treatment of 60 minutes or more to use it. For instance, a 60-minute massage costs 688 RMB; after deducting 288 RMB, you still have to pay 400 RMB. The actual discount is quite minimal, and it's easy to overlook these restrictions before booking.
Purely in terms of the hotel environment and the room's living experience, it's perfectly adequate. If you're booking, definitely make sure to read all the terms and conditions for each voucher in the package and clarify any thresholds, so you aren't misled by the promotions for complimentary benefits.

Our stay at The St. Regis Zhuhai truly highlighted the impeccable hardware and rooms. The room itself boasted a retro-luxury style, offering spacious comfort. The marble bathroom felt premium, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provided an absolutely stunning view. From the bed, we could take in the river view and the Macau Tower, and the overall decor and furnishings were incredibly tasteful, making for a very comfortable stay.
Unfortunately, the service experience somewhat lagged behind. Check-in efficiency was just average, and responses to calls were a bit slow. Some of the detailed services didn't quite measure up; for example, the selection of welcome fruits felt quite disappointing given the hotel's high-end positioning.
Purely based on the accommodation environment, it's definitely worth a stay; the views and hardware are absolutely top-notch. However, there's significant room for improvement in the service. If the service could match the facilities, the experience would be much more perfect. If you're looking for amazing room views, go for it. But for those who highly value service details, I'd suggest lowering your expectations.
