"The hotel's location is excellent, but the room was tiny. There were no slippers provided, which was quite uncomfortable for me walking around barefoot. The American breakfast was pretty terrible for a Chinese palate, and this hotel was no exception. Of course, as long as Americans like it, that's what matters, considering it's in the U.S. The hotel has its own parking lot, which costs $55 per night."

"This was my second stay there after a 8-year hiatus. Perhaps due to the influence of the SDGs, the amenities had been significantly reduced. There were only toothbrushes and mouthwash, and hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided in the room. What's more, the mouthwash had its cap open before I even used it, so I was afraid to use it. For now, all the food, drinks, and souvenirs were very expensive at Aura prices... However, the kids had a great time, so I'd like to go again. "

Amazing
Ccafe LateThere were many Japanese speaking staff, the service was very good, the rooms were clean and the layout was easy to use, and the location was excellent! I stayed for 4 nights, but it was a little disappointing that no new amenities were provided each time (such as cotton swabs).

KKaren TravellerThis hotel named as “the First Lady” in Waikiki and the heritage building attracts you deeply and looks very nice. I think I was a bit misled by the platform about the “private beach” as it actually refer to a very small area that the hotel renting some umbrella for their guest and make it as a “private area” instead of a real private beach. However, the location is excellent located in the center of Waikiki beach with very close walking distance and we enjoy the time in the beach very much.

YYUTONGShare with you the hotel experience: There are two rooms, one single bed in one room, two single beds in one room, the middle living room sofa is a double bed, and the living room has a kitchen with a full range of kitchenware, which is very suitable for the whole family, young and old, especially children. The family is very suitable. One bathtub can take a bath, and there are two showers. The bathroom is large. The space in the room is very reasonable. The balcony can go out directly to see the sea. Sometimes birds will come in. Downstairs is The swimming pool inside the hotel can only be accessed by swiping the room card. The hotel provides a towel card. You can go to the small window next to the pool to change the towels. After you use the towels, you can exchange the towels for use next time. There are many activities in the hotel. The submarine play items can be purchased just downstairs from the hotel, and the snorkeling can also be purchased downstairs from the hotel. In addition, the food in the hotel is also affordable and the price is acceptable. In short, the supporting facilities in the hotel are very good, which is very suitable for the whole family.

LLiunvshiailvxingI stayed for several days in a row, and I wouldn't really recommend it. We had a balcony room with a partial ocean view, and the sea was quite beautiful on a nice day. However, the biggest issue with this hotel is how incredibly noisy it is due to the constant flow of people. If your room isn't on a high enough floor, you'll be facing the third-floor pool downstairs, and in the afternoons, the hotel blasts very loud, high-energy music, which is incredibly disruptive. The hotel is located in the Waikiki area, but this specific part generally feels less safe than the core shopping center area where Waikiki Target is located. At night, there are strange homeless people walking the streets, some of whom smell quite bad. You'll also occasionally catch the smell of ********* wafting through the hotel lobby and hallways. The cleanliness is just okay; because the hotel is quite old, there are some mottled spots on the walls. The towels aren't as plush as those at Hytaa, and while housekeeping does come daily, it doesn't quite make up for the other issues.

パティI stayed in a room with a sunset on the 23rd floor 5. The harbor and sunset from the room are beautiful. The number of towels and sheets that were exchanged depending on the day was different, but if you inquire, you can bring them. It was far from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but it was very convenient within walking distance to the center. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

CCaomeibaobaoxiongVery good! It is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although it is not so luxurious, the people and environment here make you feel very comfortable. It is very suitable for vacation. There are shops and a private swimming pool right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The valet parking staff were very nice. Highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserWent there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there. There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations... but after checking in, there was nothing. When I asked at the info desk, they said it's something they do after you've stayed one night, on the evening of the next day or something. They just brushed me off, and there was nothing at all during our entire stay. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they gave me a box of cookies, but it felt like I was being treated as a difficult customer... Anyway, aside from these problems, it wasn't bad, and Hawaii itself was absolutely wonderful!

GGuest UserDuring check-in, the staff mocked my lack of English, laughing and making gestures at other staff members, which I found unpleasant. While all explanations were in English, the departure was in Japanese, so I assumed they understood everything. Upon check-out, I was surprised to see a payment of $1,347.40. After returning home, I called Trip.com and they handled the matter, refunding me $1,030.61. However, they had deducted a $316.79 service charge and other charges that were not included in my travel application. The hotel only sent me a receipt by email, with no apology. The staff member who checked me in and checked me out was the same, so I assumed they knew I didn't speak English before making the payment. It was a shame that my trip was so frustratingly disrupted by the hotel's front desk service.

Ccomcom1234567890This hotel is conveniently located along Hawaii's main street, offering city and partial ocean views. It seems very popular, with a constant stream of people checking in, including aviation workers and regular guests. While there were no issues with the service, location, or cleanliness, there was one truly disappointing thing. When I stayed there on a Saturday, I visited SKY Waikiki Bar, which I believe is located in the neighboring Waikiki Business Plaza. It's a rooftop bar with no sound barriers, and they started playing blaring club music around 11pm, continuing until around 1am. The hotel has a single window, so even with it closed, the sound still filtered in. I'd arrived the day before and was still suffering from jet lag and extremely sleepy, but the noise was so loud I couldn't fall asleep at all, and it was the worst sleep I've ever had. Of course, this incident itself is not the Outrigger's fault, but I was truly disappointed that they didn't take any precautions or take any measures, such as making an announcement on the day, asking if there were any problems the next day, or making some kind of effort to reduce the noise, or even protesting to Sky Waikiki Bar to stop playing the loud music until midnight. Do none of the staff notice or care? So, on top of the already high room rate, a resort tax of tens of thousands of yen was added to our bill, and we were forced to sleep through the noise. I wanted to ask how it was really a resort. The hotel was apparently renovated and looked nice at first glance, but the bathtub and shower fixtures were rusty blue, and the walls inside the hotel looked like they'd just been painted, so there was no sense of finesse. I think it's a good place for those who just want a good location and a certain level of cleanliness. It was our first honeymoon in Hawaii, and we stayed at the Outrigger for a few days, but it was a disappointing experience that ruined our memories.

DDanielWe were a bit disappointed initially with the cleanliness as there was a stain on the bed sheet upon entering the room. Thankfully, housekeeping changed it within the hour. The place is located in a central location, close to the beachfront at Waikiki, with a partnership with beachfront stores for beach equipment, as well as GoPros, sunscreen, lotion etc. that can be borrowed, included in the resort rate. However, the age of the hotel is really starting to show, it is in need of not just a touch up but an overhaul where possible. To be fair, the price, especially that paid for during this period, was a fair representation especially compared to neighbouring downtown hotels, given you do receive much more space and a kitchenette with microwave in the case of the 1 bedroom suite. However, I would say that I would have enjoyed my stay far more if at least some work was put in to modernise the space. In particular, my bathtub had peeling paint, and the colours of the room need some work.
