The location is fantastic! It's only a 5-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. They offer free luggage storage for suitcases and backpacks throughout your stay (until check-out), and you can easily retrieve or deposit items by simply asking at the front desk. When I checked in around 3 PM, there was a Japanese-speaking woman at the front desk, and in the evening, it was an English-speaking man. The facilities are generally clean, quiet, and problem-free. The common area has basic amenities like an electric kettle and a microwave, so you can eat and drink there. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

Strategically located with popular eateries down the corner, further up and you will hit hyatt and the beach. We had the tunnel view of the beach at the corridor too. The recept is polite and detailed, providing necessities such as toiletries upon request. There's complimentary breakfast too and the spread is decent and awesome - only shortcoming is the hard boiled eggs and strawberry tasting tad sour-ish. There's complimentary necessities to the beach too. The valet is great - polite and efficient. All good.

The reception is on the second floor and there is no elevator up there, so you have to lift your suitcases yourself, but there is an elevator from the second floor onwards. The hotel's concept is to cherish and utilize old things unique to overseas destinations, so you will inevitably hear noises from other rooms (especially toilets and showers). If you don't like the retro feel, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The location is great, just a 10-minute walk from Ala Moana Center, and it's also possible to walk back from the farthest part of Waikiki. I think this hotel's convenience will be more appreciated by guests who plan to stroll around rather than swim in the ocean. I felt that the amount of the tip made a big difference in the level of care taken. On my last day, I only had one dollar bills and left several before leaving, but it seemed they thought I only had one dollar bills, so they didn't accept them, and the coffee capsules were never refilled. There were a few minor issues, but overall I was pleased with this hotel.

My flight arrived in the morning. I went to the hotel to drop off my luggage, only to be told that my room wasn't ready yet. They called me at 1 PM to let me know I could check in. I was lucky to get a room with a balcony. However, it seems there's only one room with a balcony per floor, so it's a rare occurrence. The room was very clean. It's a 2-minute walk to the beach, and the bus to Diamond Head is very convenient. Relatively speaking, it's quite good value for money.

We travel 3-5 times a year from Maui, and love staying at the Best Western Plaza Hotel. The staff is great, my daughter loves the pool, and we love waking up and going down to get breakfast every morning.

I would definitely book Twin Fin again! Perfect location, clean, staff was wonderful! They took very good care of us booking tours with explicit information to get us where we needed to be! I also love that you can check out paddle boards, body boards etc for free! It’s included in your stay! Also they provided water bottles that were refillable for our entire stay with fresh cool water fountains all over Waikiki! What a perfect vacation for my husband and I! We didn’t want to leave! Mahalo! 😎🌴🌊

We were a bit disappointed initially with the cleanliness as there was a stain on the bed sheet upon entering the room. Thankfully, housekeeping changed it within the hour. The place is located in a central location, close to the beachfront at Waikiki, with a partnership with beachfront stores for beach equipment, as well as GoPros, sunscreen, lotion etc. that can be borrowed, included in the resort rate. However, the age of the hotel is really starting to show, it is in need of not just a touch up but an overhaul where possible. To be fair, the price, especially that paid for during this period, was a fair representation especially compared to neighbouring downtown hotels, given you do receive much more space and a kitchenette with microwave in the case of the 1 bedroom suite. However, I would say that I would have enjoyed my stay far more if at least some work was put in to modernise the space. In particular, my bathtub had peeling paint, and the colours of the room need some work.

The hotel staffs are kind and professionals. The room is spacious and amenities are nicely done I think. My husband loved their bed linens. The blanket was so soft and comfy. You can walk to Alamoana center, Walmart and Target. We were able to get some snacks at Alamoana food court many times and it was very convenient!

It was a room with a view of the diamond head and the sea. I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems. It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water.
