Front desk is very friendly. We arrived early, had our luggage stored and also checked in earlier . The room is very spacious with beautiful harbor views. We watched sunset in the room, beautiful! The state capitol building and Iolani palace are just two blocks away. Chinatown is within 10 minutes walking distance. Many good restaurants available

I stayed at Hilton a few months ago. I would definitely stay at Ilikai if I had to choose between the two. I could stay in an ocean view room with a kitchen for less though the room was a little outdated and less beautiful than the room at Hilton. The staff was all friendly. I got a free ice cream, two bottles of water, and a newspaper every day in addition to admissions to two museums.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, an easy 5-10 mins walk from Waikiki beach and close to restaurants, shops, and attractions like Diamond Head trail. As a solo female traveller I always felt very safe in the area, including early morning or at night. The hotel is peaceful, with a lovely bar and cosy atmosphere, and things like free daily slushies and snacks at reception, and biscuits in the room on arrival are great touches. The bar staff are excellent and super friendly. The rooms are large and good standard, with a great boho vibe, although the bathrooms are very compact and damp, and some upgrades around the hotel are starting to be needed. Room cleaning was not always thorough, but this wasn’t a major issue during my stay. For the price point this hotel is an excellent choice and I look forward to returning.

Amazing hotel in Hawaii! 🌴 Perfect location, just steps from the beach. We were warmly welcomed such friendly and caring staff! Delicious breakfast, cozy atmosphere, and everything you need for a perfect beach day: towels, sunscreen, and more. Great place for families highly recommend!

Chose it for the airport pick up/drop off, what a pleasant surprise. Great receptionist, she got me into a room early after a long overnight flight. While room dated, it clean, full amenities and comfortable bed. Pool, restaurant and was given voucher for 2 drinks so enjoyed cocktails in the bar with very nice staff. The service was respectful and helpful. I’d stay there again.

This was the worse Marriott property I have ever stayed in. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. NONE! The shower was extremely SMALL! Someone who was 250-300 pounds would not have fit in the shower. Front desk and housekeeping never answered the phone and I called numerous times. The workers were pleasant but the room I stayed in was sub standard. I will not stay here again.
