Anna ListratenkoThis is an excellent hotel! The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, they immediately offered a glass of champagne, which was a lovely touch. Our room was clean, pleasant, and had everything we could need: a Dyson hairdryer, a ghd straightener, a clothes steamer, and a completely free mini-bar. The mini-bar was stocked with beer, sodas, cocktails, and various snacks. The bed was super comfortable! Our room had a view of The Balmoral Hotel. Breakfast was amazing: there was a buffet with delicious options and the ability to order from a menu, including a traditional Scottish breakfast, Eggs Benedict with salmon, and more. If we're ever in Edinburgh again, we'll definitely stay here!

Excellent location near Edinburgh Airport but feels in the countryside and has some excellent viewpoints. Food in Brasserie was excellent with  delicious fresh own- grown herbs. Rooms were modernised,  comfortable and clean .Beautiful pool and spa facilities.

The hotel is perfectly situated right on the Royal Mile â the location is absolutely superb! It's just an 8-minute walk from the train station. Be aware that there are some steps along the route, which might be a bit of a workout if you're carrying heavy suitcases.
It's a very family-friendly hotel. The bedroom has a large bed, and the living room sofa converts into a double bed, comfortably accommodating two adults and two children. Our room was incredibly clean, newly renovated, and surprisingly quiet. Even though the Royal Mile is bustling with street performers and activities, we couldn't hear any noise from our room at all.
Having amenities like a washing machine and oven in the room was a huge plus. Just a note: toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers aren't provided as standard. We brought our own dental kit, so we only needed to ask the front desk for slippers.
Breakfast is served Ă la carte; you order what you like, and top-ups are available if you're still hungry. Edinburgh Castle is a mere 5-minute walk to the right from the hotel's entrance, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby â incredibly convenient!

Slightly out of the way and in a somewhat isolated area, especially at night in the alleys connecting the street to the Royal Mile. The mattress was definitely not up to Marriott standards. The staff, however, were very courteous and professional.

Guest UserI had a very satisfying stay. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and most of Edinburgh's other attractions are easily reachable on foot, which was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the hotel staff were very welcoming. I saw other reviews mentioning that deposit refunds take a while, but I haven't experienced that yet. I'll update my review later.

The terrace room was a bit small, but the advantage was having a terrace where you could enjoy the sunshine. The bathroom had heating, and the shower was very comfortable. The only downside might be the smell of barbecue from the food court downstairs, but overall it was a good experience.

Sharon 1984Location is excellent, walkable to all the tourist spots.I literally walked to all the places without taking bus ride at all. I booked for studio suite, it has kitchen in it, equipped with microwave, electrical stove, dishwasher and washing machine!! It has more than everything you need in the room. There is Tesco express just 2 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient! The only minor down side is house keeping not provided everyday , but u still can request the amenities or coffee refill if you need to. But this doesnât bother me at all. I highly recommend to traveller who wish to do small cooking during the trip to stay here. It worth for the price u pay.
