Hotels with Breakfast in Dalian

This apartment-style family accommodation was great because it had a large refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, and dining table. My parents were very satisfied as we could do a quick load of laundry in the room and then gather around the dining table in the evening. We had to wait a bit long for the lobby elevator, which was inconvenient, but we found an elevator that goes to another commercial area, which was much easier. It was also nice to have restaurants and a spa within the same complex. All the lobby staff were friendly. I would definitely visit again next time.

I'd stayed at an Atour 3.5 in Qingdao before, so when I saw this new Atour 4.0 opening in Dalian in 2025, and it was close to Dongguan Street, I booked it well in advance, thinking Atour's service is always great for a trip. I had high expectations, but the actual stay was a bit disappointing. 1. I booked a room without breakfast. Last year, during the off-peak season in September at the Qingdao branch, they directly offered complimentary daily breakfast for two throughout my stay, which was a great experience. This hotel only offered one day of complimentary breakfast for two. I tried the coffee machine in the public area downstairs both morning and evening, but for three consecutive days, there was no milk, so I couldn't make coffee properly. The self-service beverage experience was poor. 2. The room hardware was brand new, and basic cleanliness was acceptable. However, there's still a lot of room for improvement in the maintenance of public facilities and service details. The cleaning staff came daily during my stay and did clear the trash, but they only re-made the bed simply, and visible hair on the bed wasn't cleaned. 3. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could clearly hear noise from next door. On the last night of my stay, the TV inexplicably turned on by itself in the middle of the night for some unknown reason, severely impacting my sleep experience.

Facilities: It's a guesthouse on one floor of an old building in an alley that's been renovated. The bathroom facilities are quite old. Hygiene: The hygiene was so-so. One of the toothbrushes was already open, and they didn't offer daily cleaning. Environment: The location on the map seemed close to the train station, but it actually took over ten minutes to walk there. It was also a bit of a trek to Qingniwa, and we couldn't get a taxi. I'm not sure if it's because Dalian is quiet at night, but the area around the hotel felt like a deserted suburb. There wasn't even a fruit store; after walking for ten minutes, we only found two unknown convenience stores. I was surprised by how desolate the area around the train station was. Service: I went to the front desk three times in total, and twice there was no one there. There was no turndown service at all. Besides a welcome fruit platter on the first day, there were no other extra amenities. I'm giving it a four-star rating not because it's worth it, but purely as a sympathy score given the challenges of the service industry. I recommend everyone stay in a proper hotel instead.

The hotel facilities are brand new, clean, and quiet. It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation and plenty of great food options. There's even a morning market nearby where you can experience local culture and buy specialties. They offer free umbrella rentals on rainy days, and the TV allows for screen mirroring from your phone. The mattress is very comfortable, just the right balance of soft and firm, and the hairdryer is powerful and efficient! There's also a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient! The front desk even upgraded my room for free! The only minor issue was that the shower drain was a bit slow; by the second night, after showering for about five minutes, the water started to pool around my feet. It definitely needs some clearing!

I stayed with my elderly parents in the City View Suite at Dalian Hengli Hotel, and we were absolutely delighted! The room was incredibly spacious and well laid out, with a separate living room and bedroom, which was perfect for our family – everyone had their own space and privacy. The high-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic city views, and the city lights at dusk were simply beautiful. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was very convenient for the seniors. The staff were attentive and responsive to our needs. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. It's truly ideal for families traveling with older relatives. Highly recommended!

The biggest pleasant surprise of this Dalian trip was staying at The Castle Hotel 🏰. The grand castle architecture looks magnificent from afar, but seeing it in person is even more breathtaking. The hotel features an overall European palatial style, filled with exquisite carvings and lighting details. Every corner inside the castle is perfect for taking photos. The guest rooms are impeccably clean and spacious. The mattresses and pillows offer great comfort, allowing you to relax the moment you lie down after an exhausting day. The ocean view is simply unbeatable—you can gaze at the azure sea by day and the illuminated cross-sea bridge by night, a truly therapeutic scenery. The staff provides meticulous and attentive service, showing great patience from check-in to answering inquiries, and even patiently explaining how to use the room key earlier. The hotel boasts complete facilities, a quiet environment, and is not far from Xinghai Square. It's not just a place to stay; it's an attraction in its own right. The overall stay experience gets a full score, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Dalian! Maybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it. The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim. The room is clean with full amenities. Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended. They also have live band at night. The water pressure in the room also low.

Would I Recommend It?✔️ Yes The breathtaking beachfront location and incredible views make this hotel worth considering. With a few improvements in comfort, cleanliness, breakfast options, complimentary recreational activities, and pricing, it would provide an even better guest experience.

The consistent quality of InterContinental truly shines through at this property. Located in the heart of Donggang, with Zhongshan Square just a stone's throw away, the views from the window – a combination of city architecture and the bay – are truly unique. Getting around is incredibly convenient, whether by taxi, subway, or on foot. Riley's service shows a great attention to detail; even in seemingly minor things, you can feel the thoughtfulness. They called ahead to ask about my arrival time, confirmed the number of toiletries and slippers needed, and inquired about my preference for a higher or lower floor... The overall quietness of the hotel is excellent. Even during the National Day holiday when the hotel was fully booked and bustling with guests, I couldn't hear any noise in my room, ensuring a high quality of rest. The bathroom was also super spacious, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. During my stay, I also tried the seafood buffet on the sixth floor of the hotel, which was fantastic. If I ever have the chance to visit Dalian again, I'll definitely come back for a second stay.

I originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
