GGuest UserI visited Dalian on April 28, 2026, for a 1-night, 2-day trip with China Southern Airlines. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check-in and asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, as I planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing.
At that time, a staff member named Leo Liu warmly welcomed me and assisted me in fluent Korean and English. Thanks to him, the check-in process was very smooth, and he even upgraded my room. I was very happy to stay in such a wonderful room during my trip.
He also kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which I truly enjoyed. In addition, he explained nearby sightseeing spots in detail using a map, which was very helpful for my trip.
Leo Liu was extremely kind, attentive, and proactive in understanding what guests need. His thoughtful service made my stay in Dalian truly enjoyable and memorable.
If I visit Dalian again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Leo Liu for his excellent service

그때 Leo Liu 직원분이 반갑게 맞아주시며 유창한 한국어와 영어로 친절하게 응대해 주셨습니다. 덕분에 체크인을 수월하게 진행할 수 있었고, 객실도 업그레이드해 주셔서 매우 훌륭한 방에서 편안하게 머무를 수 있었습니다.
또한 아침 식사를 무료로 제공해 주셔서 매우 만족스러운 식사를 즐길 수 있었고, 주변 관광지에 대해서도 지도를 보며 자세히 설명해 주셔서 여행에 큰 도움이 되었습니다.

To be honest, my previous impression of this hotel was limited to 'good facilities and a great location.' However, what truly made me feel like 'I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dalian' was the service experience provided by Wu Yulu, a front desk staff member.
My flight was delayed that day, and I arrived at the hotel after 10 PM. Tired and sleepy from the journey, all I wanted was to get my room key quickly, wash up, and rest. As I walked into the lobby, the lighting was soft and warm, and Wu Yulu was on duty at the front desk. Seeing me approach with my luggage, she immediately stood up with a smile and greeted me warmly: 'Hello, welcome to Dalian Hengli Grand Hotel. Do you have a reservation?' Her voice was gentle and pleasant, and her smile was particularly natural—not a forced, professional one, but one that genuinely made you feel welcome.
After I gave her my name, she quickly found my reservation and, while operating the computer, confirmed my room type, length of stay, and any special requests. I had booked a standard king room, and she noticed that my membership level qualified me for an upgrade. She then proactively said, 'According to your member benefits, we can upgrade you to a sea-view king room free of charge. It's on a higher floor and quieter. Would that be alright?' This proactive consideration for the guest instantly boosted my impression of the hotel.
During the check-in process, I casually asked if there were any late-night restaurants nearby. She not only told me about the closest ones but also thoughtfully reminded me, 'Most restaurants are preparing to close at this hour, but the hotel's lobby bar offers light late-night snacks. If you don't want to go out, you can just head over there and give them your room number.' Such attention to detail made me feel that she wasn't just doing her job but genuinely helping guests solve problems.
After receiving my room key, she proactively explained the breakfast times and location, the gym's operating hours, and even reminded me that if I had an early flight the next day, I could pre-order a packed breakfast. After all this, she didn't rush me away but smiled and asked, 'Is there anything else I can help you with?' I shook my head, and only then did she hand over the room key and wish me a pleasant stay. Throughout the entire process, her tone was consistently gentle and her actions efficient, without the slightest hint of impatience despite it being late at night.
Later, due to a change in my work schedule, I needed to extend my stay by one night. When I went to the front desk the next day to renew, it happened to be Wu Yulu on duty again. Before I could even finish speaking, she recognized me and proactively said, 'Was your check-in yesterday smooth? If you need to extend your stay, I'll check the room availability for you.' After confirming a room was available, she quickly processed the extension, and I was able to keep the sea-view room. As I left, she softly reminded me, 'The temperature difference between morning and evening is quite large in Dalian these days, so you might want to bring a jacket when you go out.' It was this kind of thoughtful care that truly warmed the heart of a traveler on a solo business trip.
On checkout day, I was in a rush and accidentally left my charger in the room. I only realized it at the airport. With a 'nothing to lose' attitude, I called the hotel. It was Wu Yulu who answered, and after hearing my situation, she immediately said, 'Please don't worry. I'll contact housekeeping right away to check your room, and I'll call you back once we find it.' Five minutes later, she called back to say it had been found and that they could courier it to my designated address. She even proactively added me on WeChat to send me the tracking number. This kind of follow-up service truly exceeded my expectations.
I've stayed in many hotels, and many of them have excellent facilities. But what truly makes a lasting impression are those moments of warm, personal service. Wu Yulu is exactly that kind of employee—she's not ostentatious or deliberate, but every action and every word makes you feel respected and cared for. She is not only a calling card for the Hengli Grand Hotel but also a microcosm of Dalian's hospitality and professionalism.

I stayed at 3 different hotels, and I honestly think the Hard Rock Hotel deserves a great review. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and very meticulous, and check-in was exceptionally fast. Then, a staff member named 'Yi Yang Qian Xi' (a playful reference to a celebrity, likely implying excellent service) helped carry my luggage to the room, which I found very thoughtful and considerate. Both the hotel's hardware and software aspects left me very satisfied! The key thing is, during the May Day holiday, among hotels in the average price range of 800-1000, the Hard Rock Hotel truly stands out in all aspects. Whether it's the location, the hotel facilities, or the staff's service attitude and professionalism, everything was excellent. This is my genuine review, not a insincere one written to get discounts or gifts, but a true reflection of my stay!

The hotel is conveniently located on Renmin Road in the city center, making it incredibly easy to get around for business. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a wonderful ambiance; the subtle, healing fragrance instantly washed away the fatigue of my long journey. The quality of this established five-star hotel is truly evident.
It's always my first choice for business trips, and this time, I particularly want to commend Lisa. She is incredibly meticulous and reliable. She proactively communicated with me about my check-in preferences, and knowing I was on a business trip, she specifically helped me reserve a quiet room not facing the street, so I wouldn't be disturbed at night or during the day while working. During check-in, she was patient and thorough throughout, making the process quick and efficient. She remembered my invoice details and prepared the invoice for me in advance. Knowing I still had work to deal with during my trip, Lisa frequently checked in on my stay, which was very thoughtful. She would proactively replenish drinking water and toiletries. Lisa not only made excellent arrangements beforehand, but also patiently helped resolve any issues I had during my stay, promptly and with a gentle attitude, never being perfunctory. I was feeling a bit tired and unwell, which is common when traveling for business, and Lisa promptly checked on me and brought hot honey water and fruit. It was truly a lifesaver and made me feel incredibly warm. Thanks to Lisa's attentive arrangements, combined with the hotel's excellent environment and service, my entire stay was exceptionally comfortable and worry-free. My biggest thanks go to Lisa; she considered every detail and was so thoughtful and meticulous, truly putting herself in the guest's shoes. GGuest UserThis was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market?
The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member?
My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great.
