The front desk staff are very welcoming. A big plus is the large balcony offering a panoramic view of the canal. I'll definitely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Canal when I visit Jiaxing again."

Towards the end, I saw the chefs reviewing their work, which showed great dedication and meticulousness. Exiting through the hotel's side gate, you can take a refreshing stroll around South Lake. It was lovely to see many young children enjoying the greenery, creating a pleasant atmosphere. While wandering around the hotel, I also saw staff members diligently clearing debris from the water. They were very friendly and interacted with the children, showing how the hotel's service quality is truly hidden in these small details. Finally, for a hotel of this caliber, I would recommend providing a professional butler service. This would make it easier to clarify important details and communicate as needed."

The room was neat and clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a small mirror in the shower, which was super convenient for applying face masks while showering – a brilliant touch! I chose a room on the 7th floor, and the view outside was expansive and lovely. The environment was quiet, and I slept really well at night. The only drawback was the breakfast; personally, I'd say it only met a 4-star standard. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were very warm and even greeted my child when they saw them."

"We arrived a bit early for check-in on our first day. While I understand the standard check-in time is 2 PM, our room wasn't ready until almost 2:20 PM, which was quite frustrating. This was highly unsatisfactory. The front desk staff's attitude was mediocre at best; after calling me over and handing me the key card, they immediately started taking a phone call while I was still trying to ask questions. It took them a good while to finally turn back and assist me, which I found incredibly disrespectful. Additionally, although the hotel seems to be located by Nanhu Lake, all boat tours now depart from Huijingyuan Pier, which is a considerable distance away – practically on the opposite side of the lake from the hotel. You'd definitely need a taxi to get there, as walking is quite a trek. The room was advertised with a 2-meter bed, but it felt noticeably smaller than advertised. For two adults and a child, I ended up having to sleep on the sofa. Other services were not even worth mentioning. The in-room facilities felt a bit outdated, but they were still functional. As for the TV, it was tiny, but honestly, who watches TV when you're on vacation anyway?"

"The hotel is right next to Yuehe Ancient Town, making it super convenient to visit. The surrounding environment is also very pleasant. The hotel service is great too; they even gave us hand-knitted bracelets during the Dragon Boat Festival. On holidays, they provide snacks, and the complimentary preserved mangoes were delicious. The only downside is that the bar next door is quite loud. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite on the second floor and could still hear some noise."

"The hotel is ideally located between Nanhu Scenic Area and Yuehe Street, with both attractions roughly a kilometer away. The hotel's parking lot is quite small, only fitting around ten cars. Right by the entrance, on Jianguo South Road near Pingshan, is the Wufangzhai main store. It's always bustling, and the prices seem very reasonable! If you're looking for green spaces, Nanhu is the place to go; for charming old streets, Yuehe is perfect. Jianguo South Road is a commercial street, and Shaonian Road is also nearby. The hotel facilities were reasonably clean, and considering the price, it offers good value for money."
