"I chose a hotel that offered decent value for money. A front desk staff member called us in advance to confirm our arrival time and if we had any floor preferences, which we found very thoughtful. Facilities: The shower water was too hot and difficult to adjust. This definitely needs some maintenance. Breakfast: The milk had a metallic/rusty smell, so I didn't drink it. Compared to the price, the overall experience was still acceptable."

"The scenery is absolutely stunning, especially at night where the three rivers meet. The location is superb; it's just a 10-15 minute walk across the bridge to the Old Bund. The World Heritage-listed Qing'an Guild Hall is only a 10-yuan walk away. It's also very close to the Ningbo Cultural Center, Ningbo Grand Theater (for Yue Opera), major commercial areas, and Tianyi Pavilion by taxi. Dongqian Lake is a 37-minute taxi ride, and the airport is only half an hour away. A 5-minute walk takes you to the high-end K11 mall, where dining options are plentiful. I particularly enjoyed watching 'The Meg' at the Bona Cinema's latest standard curved giant screen, the visuals and sound were incredible! The hotel staff are fantastic and very helpful; don't hesitate to ask them for anything. The hotel's Shang Palace restaurant serves exquisite dishes, far superior to outside establishments. The set meals for hotel guests offer great value for money, and the **à la carte roasted pigeon is an absolute steal!** My only minor quibble is that the complimentary fried peanuts didn't quite match Shang Palace's premium image. I'd suggest checking out the seaweed peanuts at Yongbo Mama Cuisine in K11 mall for inspiration. Also, the servers could be more attentive and proactive in refilling tea. Overall, if you're looking for quality living, I highly recommend this place."

It's right next to Intime, so dining is super convenient, and they even use robots for delivery, which is pretty cool. The airport shuttle service was a huge plus, so I didn't have to worry about finding a taxi. "The Holiday Inn Express is right next to the Crowne Plaza, sharing the same courtyard and parking garage. It's an economy hotel, quite simple and straightforward. The room was reasonably spacious and well-equipped, and the shower had good hot water pressure. The only thing is that the bathroom was internal, so it felt a little stuffy when first entering. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard, not particularly lavish, but it had all the basics, which is fair enough for an economy hotel. The location is quite excellent. It's convenient for sightseeing; you can walk left out of the lobby for about half an hour to reach the Old Bund and the confluence of the three rivers. To the right, it's a five-minute walk to Chenghuang Temple, and if you cross a few streets and walk for about half an hour, you'll reach Moon Lake Park and Tianyi Pavilion Museum."

XXidan123Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time. It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B. The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night. After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea. Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village. I made an appointment for dinner and hot springs in the evening at the B&B. Because it is a reservation system, it is equivalent to a private soup, which feels good. Half an hour is completely enough. The dinner tastes good, and the chef gives a good review. The above.

GGuest UserEvery time I'm on a business trip to Ningbo, I stay here; it feels just like home. The service is excellent, with a WeChat concierge almost 24/7, always ready to help with anything you need. Especially Miya, who always contacts me in advance before my check-in to reserve my preferred room. The hotel breakfast is very good. The hotel facilities are top-notch among domestic five-star hotels. The gym is huge, and there's also a sauna, yoga room, squash court, and a tennis court with a dedicated coach, which is very convenient. The only downside is the slow Wi-Fi. Personally, I think this hotel ranks first among all the five-star hotels in Ningbo for its overall offerings.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly deserves high praise! Everything from the environment and hygiene to the thoughtful service was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and bright, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The desk and floor were spotless, and the toiletries were neatly arranged and reassuringly clean. While breakfast wasn't extensive, it was very refined. The service, however, was exceptionally warm and definitely a plus. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and genuine, answering all our questions and attending to every need. They even upgraded us to a river-view room! Daily supplies and impromptu requests were handled promptly and with great attention to detail, making our stay incredibly comfortable.

JJeromePros: Great location, right next to Tianyi Square and Chenghuang Temple. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping is within easy reach. Cons: 1. Newly renovated, and it shows – in a bad way. The moment you walk in, you're hit with a blast of cheap perfume that's overpowering. 2. My room had an 'inner window.' What does that mean? It means when you open the window, you're looking right into the shopping mall. I even took a picture of my room's window from the mall side (see photo). 3. The room was stifling. The only option was to use the air conditioning, but at this time of year, it only blows hot air. The room temperature was stuck at 27 degrees Celsius and couldn't be adjusted, as it's controlled by the mall's central air conditioning system. In March, it was so hot I was in shorts! I had to ask for a fan and open the window to cool down. But opening the window meant sacrificing privacy (anyone in the mall could see in) and enduring the mall noise – a vicious cycle. I've attached a photo of the hotel room; please pay close attention to the room number when booking. 4. Finding live TV channels on the TV was a nightmare. It was buried deep within some video streaming app. It took me at least 20 minutes to find the entrance to regular TV. 5. The ceiling height is quite low. I'm 1.72m tall, and I can touch the ceiling by just raising my hand and tiptoeing a little, which felt a bit claustrophobic. 6. Compared to hotels like All Seasons, Atour, or Holiday Inn, the price is on the higher side, and there's nothing particularly impressive about it. 7. Breakfast was mediocre. Limited selection, and the wontons I ordered only had a few tiny pieces, mostly wrapper with a fingernail-sized amount of filling. As someone who spends over 200 nights a year in hotels, I strongly advise anyone considering this place to seriously weigh my experiences above.
