"Let's start with the positives: the service was quite good, with all staff members being polite and friendly. Although the location seemed a bit out of the way, it's very close to the subway, making it convenient to visit Dongqian Lake or take a taxi to several attractions. The bed was also quite comfortable. However, what was unbearable was the soundproofing. During the May Day holiday, Ningbo's municipal construction was non-stop. Cement trucks started operating at 6 AM, and we could hear the construction noise crystal clear. The 'smart' Xiao Du speaker was overly sensitive, lighting up the screen and turning on the bathroom light at the slightest movement. We didn't dare ask it to turn off the lights or screen for fear of disturbing our family's sleep. The most unbearable thing was that the shower room was directly connected to the outside. Our junior high school-aged child found it incredibly inconvenient to change clothes due to the lack of a partition. What a 'genius' designer! The toilet and shower room were also transparent. The bathroom door was broken and took forever to open. Switching between hot and cold water was impossible; it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The facilities simply don't match the service quality. The staff, however, were all great 👍"

"It has to be Hilton for that top-notch quality. I was extremely satisfied with the service experience, and the accommodation environment was impeccable. The view of Romon U-Park outside the window was stunning. Hilton's breakfast also truly lived up to expectations. The local specialty snacks, tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls) and nian'gao (rice cakes), were incredibly authentic. The dumplings and wontons were all from Wanchai Ferry, freshly taken and opened from the fridge – so reliable! It's just a shame I don't have ten stomachs; I picked a few items to eat and was already full."

I suggest adding a brand sign at the entrance, as Baidu Maps leads to the Crowne Plaza entrance, and it's hard to find Holiday Inn Express downstairs. Also, the hotel breakfast is free, and I recommend Ctrip app to indicate that breakfast is included, otherwise, guests might miss out! The hotel breakfast offers seafood noodles, which looked quite appealing, though I didn't try them as there are too many delicious options at Tianyi Plaza. I ended up trying the popular Zhangfuji instead, haha."

"The service was excellent, making us feel right at home. They offered tea during check-in and popcorn for the kids. When we returned late, they even brought us a sweet soup for the evening. The laundry service was also a great touch, allowing us to relax and enjoy our trip without worries. The room was spacious, and it even had a large window-side tatami platform – big enough that you could sleep an extra person on it if you added a blanket. It's not far from the main attractions, and you can easily walk to them. Overall, I'd still recommend it."

Some rooms were renovated in 2024 and equipped with intelligent facilities and equipment.Four restaurants and bars with different styles, and nearly 4800 square meters of banquet and conference venues, catering to the diverse needs of guests.As for recreation, guests can simply exercise in the fitness center, take a swim in the pool,, the front desk is ready to assist guests with planning any particular trip outside of the hotel.

"Choosing the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Ningbo for my recent trip to Ningbo was absolutely the right decision! It definitely deserves a five-star rating! Let's start with the hardware – the rooms are spacious, the carpets are soft, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom, paved with white marble, feels very luxurious, and the addition of a smart toilet and a large bathtub is fantastic! Now, for the 'software' – the service – which truly deserves a special mention. I've stayed in many five-star hotels, and the service here is by far the best! When we checked in, the gentleman who assisted us was incredibly polite and well-mannered, and he even managed to upgrade our room when possible. The other staff members were seamlessly coordinated, whether it was helping with luggage storage or directing us to the elevators. Every time we left, the doormen and lobby concierges were so friendly and always waved goodbye, making us feel truly at home. The breakfast was also superb, and I even got to try the famous Ningbo tangyuan (rice balls). Ningbo is a beautiful city that left a lasting impression. When our trip ended, the hotel even arranged a car to take us to the airport. All connections were smooth and convenient. Even at checkout, the 'bellhop' proactively offered assistance, telling us to simply hand her the room card. The driver who took us to the airport was also incredibly polite! If there were a six-star rating, they would definitely earn it. Too bad I didn't take many photos!"

"I chose this Atour Hotel because I had an early flight the next day, and it's conveniently located just ten minutes away. The airport shuttle service was a huge plus, so I didn't have to worry about finding a taxi. The front desk staff were very welcoming; they offered me hot water as soon as I arrived and even upgraded my room. The room was clean, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and it even had a nice river view."
