"This was my first stay at Akara Hotel Pattaya, and I'll definitely be back! The hotel is sleek, stylish, and incredibly clean. The staff are all so friendly and provide excellent service. The valet parking is super convenient. They also offer an Onsen Package which is wonderfully relaxing. You can go up to the 24th floor where the Barracuda Sky Gala bar & pool is located – the views are amazing and it's very chill, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend Akara Hotel Pattaya; you won't be disappointed! 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"Overall, I would rate my stay 7/10. The apartment itself is great. It’s only about a 3-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of convenient places nearby, including 7-Eleven and Central Festival, which is just a short distance away. The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages. The only major disappointment was that the rooftop swimming pool on the 31st floor is closed for maintenance until the end of July. Unfortunately, this information was not mentioned anywhere before my arrival, so I only found out after checking in. I specifically chose this property because of the rooftop pool, so it was a significant letdown. At the moment, only the lower pool is available. I want to make it clear that this is not the owner’s fault—the closure is due to maintenance by the building management. However, it would be very helpful if future guests were informed about this in advance so they know what to expect. I hope the rooftop pool reopens soon because otherwise this is a very good place to stay."

"We stayed in the oceanfront skybath room, which offers a direct sea view. This room type is located on floors 2-4; we were on the 4th floor. If you're looking for an even higher view, I'd recommend the oceanfront skypool room or even the Sky pool suite. Staying in this room type also grants you access to afternoon tea and happy hour. The snack selection and cocktails were absolutely delicious. I didn't take photos of the breakfast, but I think many people are already familiar with the reputation of this hotel's breakfast spread. It certainly didn't disappoint! Everything was delicious, and there was a huge variety to choose from. Khun Kwan, Khun C, and all the staff at the hotel provided excellent service. They were very helpful, always smiling, and cheerful. We'll definitely be coming back again because of the exceptional service! ❤️"

"Traveling with family, the hotel is very close to Jomtien Beach. You can practically walk from the pool, cross the road, and be right on the sand. Jomtien Beach and the beaches near Walking Street are pretty similar – there's no real concept of 'clean' or 'unclean' there; the sand is quite coarse, and the sea is comparable to the non-private beaches in Hainan. So, if you're going to Pattaya to enjoy the sea, you really need to go to Koh Larn, otherwise, it's not much different from a trip to Hainan. My parents even struggled with the local food, which felt like an unnecessary hassle, haha. The hotel's swimming pool is quite small and connects to the breakfast area. The breakfast, however, was plentiful and had a lovely ambiance, where you could enjoy the sea and sunshine while eating."

"I recently stayed in an Executive Suite Ocean View room at D Varee Jomtien Hotel. The room was very spacious and offered a beautiful sea view. The hotel provides a wide range of amenities which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The room itself was a bit dated and there was a slight moldy smell when I first entered. Another downside was the prolonged waiting time for the elevators, especially during busy periods. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection of food, catering to different tastes and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, I enjoyed my stay thanks to the spacious room, great amenities and excellent breakfast. With some refurbishment and improvements to the elevator service, the experience would be even better."

"The hotel's location is quite remote; it's very inconvenient to get around on foot if you don't have a car. Although the hotel is a bit old, the exterior has been renovated. However, you can still spot rust in some small areas. Overall, the facilities are decent, but the cleanliness is a major issue. The room was incredibly dirty. After walking around in slippers for a short while, they were already black. When I wiped the table with a small white towel, it turned black instantly. The faucets were covered in grime; I had no choice but to clean them myself. The breakfast offered was very basic, only bread, cakes, eggs, sausages, and bacon. The bacon was fried so hard it was inedible. There were no appetizing food options, no Thai food, and no noodles. In short, it was okay for sleeping, but everything else left much to be desired!"

"Crystal Palace Hotel Pattaya - My Stay Experience The hotel is located in Pattaya city center, about a 10-minute walk to the beach. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making its location very convenient. The room size is moderate, but the facilities are a bit dated. "I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. For a short stay, it's generally a decent hotel. I'm not sure if it's the same in all rooms, but my room didn't have a balcony, so there was nowhere to dry clothes. The clothes dryer in the bathroom didn't dry anything at all. Otherwise, the room was clean and looked recently renovated. It had everything needed: a kettle, hairdryer, robe, and slippers. The only downside was the reusable shampoo, gel, and soap, which was unpleasant as you don't know who used them before you. Another thing that bothered me was that the hotel asks guests not to leave valuables in the room. Is that a hint about dishonest housekeepers?! Breakfast is from 6 to 10 am. It's good, and you won't go hungry. However, if you arrive closer to 10 am, you might not find a table and will have to wait. At 6 am, though, it's empty. The pool is good, but part of it was cordoned off with construction netting, and it was noisy due to ongoing construction work. The hotel faces a lively street with cafes and bars. There's a 7/11 and a currency exchange nearby."

GGuest UserGreat location! It's within walking distance to the beach and right across from a shopping mall with a large supermarket downstairs, making shopping super convenient. The room is spacious with new facilities, a comfortable bed, and a kitchen and washing machine. There's also a kids' play area similar to a soft play zone next to the restaurant, which is perfect for families with children. If you're driving, the very last stretch of road to the hotel can be a bit congested, but it's a short section. Overall, highly recommended!

IipreawWe stayed in room 502, a three-bedroom suite with a central swimming pool. There's also a large red pool right in front of the room. It sleeps 6 people, with an additional 2 allowed, totaling 8 people. There's a bathtub in the room. Complimentary amenities provided by the hotel included 6 macarons, 1 Happy Birthday cake, 6 glasses of punch, an excellent minibar, and a baby cot. We even got extra drinking water upon request before checking out, which was great, but you need to inform the hotel beforehand. Booking through Trip.com allowed for a very late check-out. We checked in at 3 PM and checked out at 3 PM, which was fantastic. **Atmosphere**: Lots of trees, very refreshing. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, and the air conditioning was wonderfully cold. **Hotel Location**: Right by the road. **Breakfast**: Served in a large room, delicious, with plenty of food options and a neutral taste. **Service**: Absolutely excellent! All staff members were polite from check-in to check-out. The driver service was always available and very helpful. I highly commend them! **Activities**: There are many large swimming pools, including a saltwater pool. The activities were great, and the kids had so much fun and were very happy. The staff were helpful in finding things for them. There are bicycles to ride, a Sen Onsen, a fitness center, and a sauna.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel! We were a bit worried that there wouldn't be any quiet and peaceful areas, as it's mainly families with children who stay here, but everything turned out perfectly! Everyone can find a spot they like! The suite rooms are very good, as are the club lounges. The lounge on the 12th floor now offers decent drinks and cocktails with snacks from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. At breakfast, you can enjoy a glass of Australian brut. Juices, water, tea, coffee, fruits, and cookies are available throughout the day! The staff are very polite and friendly! The sea in mid-July was calm and very warm, with no waves. The water temperature near the shore reached up to 35°C.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel for a two-night stay, arriving late around 22:00. While we originally booked a small twin room with no balcony, we decided to upgrade to a Junior Suite with a balcony upon arrival. 🛏️ The Room & Comfort The Good: The room is exceptionally large and completely pest-free (no bugs, roaches, or bad smells). The bed is excellent, featuring a large, comfortable mattress with fresh white bedding and a warm blanket. Sockets are conveniently located in every corner. The Bad: Our second-floor balcony sat directly above a designated smoking area. In the shower, it was hard to make the water just warm, it was always either too cold or too hot. 📺 Appliances & Tech WiFi: Did not work upon arrival, though staff resolved the issue by the second day. Television: Very old, non-smart TV with no Netflix, YouTube, or international channels. The screen flickered constantly, making it look like a bad 90s video filter. Air Conditioning: Old and noisy, but it successfully cooled the room down very quickly. Kitchenette: Includes a microwave and a stove, but no pots or frying pans are provided. You must bring your own cookware if you plan to use the stove. 🍳 Dining & Breakfast Served buffet-style and tasted amazing. Features plenty of eggs, chicken, pork, fresh/cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, and baked goods. But there were no seafood or fish available. 🌳 Hotel Grounds & Location Ambiance: Very cozy, traditional Asian-style property decorated with beautiful elephant statues, koi carp ponds, and fragrant blossoming trees. Unbeatable location. A 7-Eleven is less than a 1-minute walk away. Jomtien Beach and the main bus terminal are both a short 5-minute walk. Local songthaew run directly past the hotel. 🔄 Verdict We would happily stay here again for a short-term visit, but the outdated electronics and shower issues might make a long stay frustrating

SSam from FranceBonjour This is a very nice, new, almost brand-new hotel, with a backpacker vibe. It's just 5 minutes from a beautiful and very quiet beach. The staff are very welcoming and kind. The room is a standard size, neither big nor small. It's an eco-friendly establishment, so the room furniture is minimalist but sufficient. It's close to Terminal 21 shopping mall, which is a pleasant place where you can eat cheaply on, I believe, the 4th floor. AAnonymous UserThe location is still great. I stayed here before when I was on a budget trip. The room isn't huge, but it's very clean, so if you don't have high expectations, it's pretty good. The tuk-tuks on the street outside can be a bit noisy at night, but it's bearable. There's no breakfast, but you can store your luggage, and the front desk service is excellent. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, and the air conditioning was old-fashioned but quite cold.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in North Pattaya, right next to a hotpot buffet, which I never got a chance to try. The prices can be a bit inconsistent though; I managed to snag a great deal for my three-night stay. Pattaya is a lovely place. I only realized there was a gym on the first floor when I was checking out today – I hardly spent any time at the hotel, to be honest.
