"The room had a Chinese tea set, evoking a sense of wabi-sabi (a Japanese aesthetic emphasizing simplicity and transience). It was very relaxing.
This hotel occupied several floors of a building that also housed other facilities (other hotels, companies, etc.). Therefore, delivery people and outsiders could freely enter the elevator. (And unfortunately, there were people smoking in the elevator, which was unpleasant.)
The room was cleaned daily, and towels and amenities were replaced generously. However, there was a slight odor from the toilet or bathroom drain, which might lead some to give it a harsh review. The air conditioning worked well. The free laundry facilities were a great help for long stays. It was also nice that detergent, hangers, and an iron were available for free use.
Breakfast consisted of a limited selection of local dishes, but everything was delicious. The fried rice, in particular, was exceptional. There were also local specialty dishes, and they were happy to provide hot noodles upon request, making it a relaxed buffet. If I had one suggestion, it would be nice to have hot coffee brewed in the lobby or dining area, even if it was just from a regular coffee maker.
I stayed for six nights and was generally satisfied. I could feel the warmth of the people working there."
