"This hotel won awards back in its day. There are a few minor imperfections, but you can generally overlook them if you're not staying for long. Breakfast is supposedly available, but it's tiny and Korean-style, so it won't suit Europeans. The window is tiny with a view of a neighboring building's wall, but we gathered that's common in many small Asian hotels. The room includes slippers, robes, a safe, TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, mini-fridge, kettle, plus daily replenished water. The location is very convenient, close to the subway and bus stops. Overall, the hotel isn't bad and has a cozy, homely atmosphere."

"This hotel is located in Seoul's Gangbuk area, which isn't as central as Gangnam, Myeongdong, or Hongdae, but it's reflected in the more affordable price. It's incredibly convenient, just a 2-minute walk from Subway Line 4 and the 6102 airport bus stop. Although the hotel is tucked away in an alley, it's very close to the main street. Right outside, you'll find a 'National Coffee' shop, a 7-Eleven just a few steps away, and a GS25 further down. Olive Young, Daiso, and McDonald's are also within easy walking distance. The alley across the street is full of eateries, and there's a market nearby too. You can reach the main shopping districts within half an hour by subway. The hotel might be small, but they provide a variety of skincare samples daily, and there's even a bathtub, which is a great touch. I felt perfectly comfortable staying alone. The front desk staff were very friendly; I forgot to bring the correct travel adapter, and the young man at the front desk was able to provide one. The only downside is that the electrical outlets in the room are quite finicky, requiring me to find a specific spot each time I charged something. I hope they can improve this!"

"I'm so glad I booked this hotel. First off, its location is perfect: quiet, close to most major attractions, and with excellent transport links, including a subway and bus stops. We even walked to Myeongdong (though that's for those who enjoy racking up thousands of steps!). The hotel itself is new and pleasant, and I absolutely loved the toiletries – they smell fantastic. Only one charming guy speaks minimal English, but the staff at the front desk are all very friendly, and the language barrier isn't an issue if you have any difficulties or questions. My only complaint: dusty blinds. We saw that this issue has been mentioned before, and I hope they fix it soon. Check-in is indeed only after 6 PM, but you can leave your luggage downstairs. This might be inconvenient for some, so keep it in mind when booking. Even so, I would definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Seoul."

"This was a hotel that a Spaniard visiting Korea chose after much deliberation. Although there were many budget-friendly motels nearby, I selected the hotel-class Royal Suite, hoping for a more comfortable and cozy stay. It is true that my expectations were high, as the price of around 170,000 won was not insignificant. However, after actually staying there, I was generally quite disappointed. The first thing that stood out was the cleanliness. There was hair left in the bathtub, and the bed sheets had red stains that appeared to have not been properly washed, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, the smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the room, making it difficult to consider it a pleasant environment. This was particularly bothersome for a non-smoker. In terms of facilities, the toilet's water pressure was weak, so it was inconvenient to have to flush multiple times because it did not clean properly in one go. With the wide variety of accommodations available these days, one could have stayed comfortably for under 100,000 won; paying 170,000 won only resulted in a somewhat disappointing experience as my satisfaction fell short of my expectations."

"Convenient location in the Hongdae area, with Hapjeong Station being the most practical station for getting around. There is a CU right across the hotel, and a 7-Eleven and GS25 nearby. Check-in was smooth and easy. When I extended my stay, I was able to keep the same room without checking in again, as I booked the same room type. Very convenient for solo travelers. The room was clean. There was occasionally a slight cigarette smell, but it wasn’t a major issue. My favorite part was the beautiful view from the window. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from Exit 4 of Sinseol-dong Station. It's really convenient to get to Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, and Seongsu. There's also an E-mart (Cheonggyecheon branch) about a 20-minute walk away, and a famous teppanyaki octopus restaurant just a 5-minute walk. The room itself is quite spacious, with the bathroom taking up about half of it. It has a bathtub and a separate shower and toilet. However, the bed is on the smaller side. It gets quite hot in the room, so we had to sleep with the window open as the air conditioning wasn't working. The Wi-Fi also disconnected occasionally. As for cleanliness, it was acceptable, especially considering the great price, large room, and excellent location."

However, there's a water cooler with hot and cold water on the ground floor, as well as a coffee machine with free coffee. This hotel seems popular with couples, which explains some of the 'extra amenities' in the rooms, and likely why children aren't allowed. But honestly, that didn't bother us at all during our two-day stay before our flight home."
