"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. When I look for hotels, one of the priorities is safety and cleanliness. I felt really safe in this hotel. It was clean, quiet. Everything was perfect for me: location, polite staff, service, their own cafe. I enjoyed having breakfast with free ciabatta and you can buy some drink, a cake in their cafe. It's situated near two stations (the 4th line, Hyehwa Station, and the 1st line, Jongno-5 ga Station). As for me, it's comfortable to carry your suitcase to the hotel after you get out of subway. As I love Naksan park and the neighbourhood around it, I choose the right hotel for walking there. When I come to Seoul, I would definitely choose this hotel again for staying. Thank you very much."

"Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel offers good value for money, and the hygiene was excellent. It's very close to the subway station, just a 3-5 minute walk away. Downstairs, across the street, there are plenty of restaurants and small bars. The hotel is located in the city center, near Myeongdong, and you can walk to the pedestrian street in about ten minutes. It's also quite quiet at night. There's a convenience store in the lobby downstairs, making it easy to buy things. I initially booked for 3 nights and wanted to extend, but there were no suitable rooms available. I'd definitely recommend it for future visits."

"The hotel met my expectations. The room size was just right for one person, and it was well-equipped. The front desk staff and the cleaning ladies were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The only issue was a motion-activated light near the entrance. It seems there's no switch to turn it off, and it's overly sensitive with too wide a range. Even slight movements in bed would trigger it, which was quite annoying at night."

"The location is decent; it's just around the corner from Hongdae and Sinchon subway stations. However, be careful as the entrance is next to a CU convenience store, and it's easy to miss. The front desk staff speaks Chinese, and the service is okay. The room facilities are a bit old, and while it looked clean, I'm prone to bug bites and even with a disposable bedsheet, I still got two bites, probably from dust mites. Also, the room ventilation isn't great. They offer a special Olive Young discount coupon: ₩5,000 off a purchase of ₩100,000 or more."

"The location is excellent, just one or two hundred meters from the subway station, and the airport shuttle bus stop is also nearby, right downstairs. It's at the entrance of Myeongdong shopping street, and you can even walk to N Seoul Tower. The room is small but has all the essential facilities, and is generally clean and tidy. The laundry room has limited equipment, only one washing machine and one dryer, but they are both large and efficient. There's a charge, and you'll need 1000 won bills. The hotel also offers free luggage storage in secure lockers."

"## Location: Perfect Score Right across from Lotte Duty-Free and less than a 5-minute walk to Shinsegae Duty-Free, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. Its location is comparable to the Aloft nearby but significantly better than Voco (which requires a bit of a detour). If you're here for serious shopping, this location will definitely save you time and effort. ## Room & Facilities The room size is similar to Aloft's – both are on the 'compact' side. It's a bit smaller than Voco, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might want to reconsider. The hotel is located within a mixed-use building, so you'll need to go to the 9th-floor lobby for check-in. Waiting for elevators during peak hours can be a bit of a pain. There are free luggage lockers on the 9th floor lobby, which are very convenient to use. ## Service & Details The service was adequate, neither exceptionally good nor bad. However, there's a noticeable drawback: my Trip.com reservation explicitly requested a 'high floor,' but I was given the 11th floor (guest rooms are on floors 10-18). This compromised both the view and the quietness. I recommend calling ahead to confirm or actively requesting a higher floor upon arrival. The central air conditioning noise from the adjacent building runs 24/7, which somewhat affected my sleep. ## Alternatives Next door is Ibis. If you're not sensitive to floor level or room size, you could compare prices for the same location and pick whichever is cheaper. ## Summary: If you're looking for ultimate convenience and don't mind a smaller room or the occasional elevator wait, this place is worth considering. However, if a great view, spacious rooms, or a high-floor experience are important to you, I suggest lowering your expectations or looking elsewhere."

"Extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied with this hotel!! It's very new, and the front desk staff was incredibly attentive, even proactively speaking in Chinese. They stored my luggage before check-in and made sure it was in my room when I arrived. I stayed in a corner room, so it was very spacious. The location is super convenient; just step out onto the main road and you're at the subway station, with the airport shuttle stop right across the street. The hotel is located in a huge food street area, so you'll never have to worry about finding food. Plus, Daiso, Mega Coffee, and Compose Coffee are all downstairs. This place has become my happy little home away from home in Korea – I'll definitely be back next time!"

"The hotel room even has a washing machine and a drying rack! Absolutely amazing! It's perfect for travelers staying for several days. The room is very clean and tidy, small but exquisite, giving off a 'small but perfectly formed' vibe. Although it's a bit far from the sea, you can still catch a partial sea view from the room, and it's a quick walk downstairs to the beach. However, rooms are in high demand; I wanted to extend my stay and tried to book another night the next morning, but unfortunately, the room was already booked, so I had to check out."

"My stay at Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan was excellent overall! The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, and the room was tidied very neatly, making me feel relaxed after checking in. What I liked most was its incredibly convenient location. The hotel is very close to Yongsan Station, within walking distance. Yongsan Station itself is a crucial transportation hub, making it easy to take the subway to downtown Seoul or catch a train to other cities. This location is a real time-saver, especially if your itinerary involves taking the KTX. Furthermore, the hotel is also very close to I'Park Mall, which is incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, grabbing coffee, or buying daily necessities, without needing to plan extra time to travel far. It's also easy to head back to the hotel after shopping, which is a huge plus for independent travelers. If you need to go to Seoul Station, it's also very convenient; a quick ride from Yongsan Station will get you there without having to drag your luggage through multiple transfers. For someone like me who has a busy itinerary and needs to move around to different places daily, this location is truly practical. Overall, this is a hotel with convenient transportation, complete amenities, and comfortable accommodation. Whether you're traveling independently, on a business trip, or need to take a train to another city, I highly recommend choosing the Yongsan area. 😊"
