After raising the matter with the front desk staff, she was able to accommodate my request and provided a higher-floor unit 😊. I must admit that this is the best hotel I’ve stayed so far. It is more like a fully-equipped condo than a hotel — super comfortable, clean, modern and great location! It’s the kind of stay that makes you wish you booked longer.. "An Extremely Pleasant Stay in Seoul This hotel surprised us a lot, and yes, in a good way! Check-in was seamless. Just hand in your passport for processing and you got the room key. Very fast and convenient. There was an area where we could place our baggage before checking in so that we could go and explore the city with ease. The room was spectacular. The bed was cloud-like, the linens were crisp and luxurious, and the bathroom featured a toilet with an automatic bidet which was great and exceeded our expectations. We asked for room cleaning only once during our 7-day stay. Breakfast was okay. A self-service counter in a separate compartment/room with tables. Just typical breakfast: bread, yam, cereal, milk, and orange juice. Free mini-ramyon was also available in limited quantities. Oh and the cereal and milk were available 24 hours until depleted. We came back one evening, exhausted and thank god there was food (even if it’s just cereal). The pantry was also equipped with a microwave and toaster. Free plastic cutlery was also provided. The hotel location couldn't have been better, just steps away from renowned shopping stores (Olive Young, Daiso), incredible restaurants, and public transportation to explore Seoul. In the elevator, we could even see the airport bus information (Bus No. 6013) with a ticket price indicated (cash or T-money card accepted), which was an absolute godsend. We no longer needed to take the metro or public bus to the airport because of this. Thank you, Bellus! What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the staff and strategic location where we could easily find a bus stop and a place to eat. This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had in Seoul. The city has already stolen our hearts, and this affordable hotel was a huge part of the reason why. "Stay at SL Myeongdong for 3 nights. Location is quite good, in between Myeongdong and ChungMuro station (~6 mins walk). Airport bus stops for 6001 and 6015 located near the two stations. Frontdesk is efficient and friendly. Room is bright, relatively small but equipped with washing machine, dryer and a full-size fridge. Bed was comfy, but pillows were too soft. Hotel is new but the cleaning/maintenance can be better, cos some marks can be seen on the tiles. On the first night, we noticed a bit of blood stain on the side of the bedsheet, which they promptly changed after feedback. Overall a good place to stay in Seoul near Myeongdong."

"Traveling with kids means location, transport, and dining options, catering to both crowds and quiet spots, are all key considerations. First off, the location was perfect – the airport shuttle drops you right at the hotel, just across the street. We noticed fewer Chinese guests and more European and American visitors. Right opposite the hotel, there's Olive Young, McDonald's, and a fried chicken joint. To the left and right of the hotel entrance, you'll find a 7-Eleven on each side. The streets behind the hotel are packed with restaurants. Just about 200 meters to the left of the hotel entrance is Mapo Subway Station, which is only one stop from Yeouido Department Store – super convenient. If you head right from the hotel, you'll reach Gongdeok Subway Station, where you can find the popular Egg Drop sandwiches, which are a great value for breakfast. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so it's a good idea to bring your own set. If you forget, there's a machine on the first floor where you can buy them. For your return journey, you can catch the airport shuttle to the airport right in front of the McDonald's opposite the hotel. You can buy tickets on-site by scanning a QR code or paying with cash. Highly recommend this hotel for families with children."

"The front desk staff was very polite and even upgraded our room type, which made our stay very comfortable. The room, although not large, was well-equipped. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to both bus and metro stations, less than a 5-minute walk away."

"Overall, I'm satisfied. The service attitude was pretty good, and they have a business center for printing documents, which wasn't cheap but acceptable. The room itself was genuinely small; my large suitcase barely fit in the hallway and under the desk. The bed size was decent. Slippers and a hairdryer were provided, but no dental kit. My laundry dried overnight. The window offered a city view. The location is excellent, right in the CBD. It's an 8-10 minute walk straight ahead or left from the hotel entrance to Myeongdong's streets and alleys or Lotte Department Store, just two blocks down. There's a nice cafe downstairs open until 10:30 PM, and a Starbucks in the adjacent commercial building, though it closes earlier. If you turn right from the hotel entrance and walk straight for a hundred or two meters, you'll cross a small overpass connected to the street. Below the overpass is a small stream and greenery, a bit like Guangzhou's Liwan Stream. Turn left, cross the road, and walk straight, and you'll find many restaurants and cafes. There's a classic chicken sausage cheese spicy turkey noodle dish; the first few bites are really delicious, but it gets rich quickly. However, it's great value for money, with a large pot costing only about 160 RMB. The subway station is also nearby, with lines 3 and 4 not far away. All in all, the hotel offers decent value for money."

"Pros: My room was incredibly clean, especially the bathroom. The sink gleamed, every corner was spotless, and the large mirror was perfect for makeup. The spacious counter was a huge plus for all my toiletries (girls tend to have a lot of skincare products!). The room size was typical for a Korean hotel, with enough space for two people's luggage. It's quite close to the subway station, with a convenience store and a few restaurants nearby, and a chill coffee shop just across the street. Although it's on a slope, it's a very short one. The elderly gentleman who checked us in at the front desk had an excellent attitude. There's even a tax refund machine in the hotel lobby. Cons: The soundproofing was poor. The two men in the next room were very loud. If it weren't for the language barrier, I think I would have known their entire conversation – there was absolutely no privacy. Luckily, we didn't stay on a weekend, so we didn't hear any bar-goers or drinkers. So staying here really depends on luck; if you get considerate guests who keep to themselves, it's great. But if you encounter loud ones, it's just bad luck. Also, at 1 AM, the TV (or possibly some other electronic box) suddenly blared an ear-splitting alarm, like an ambulance, which startled us awake. Since I take sedatives, being abruptly woken up is very disorienting for me. My girlfriend quickly unplugged all the power cords behind the TV, and the sound instantly disappeared. I don't know what caused this; I forgot to ask the front desk when we checked out, and I still have no idea what happened."
