"Great hotel service and in middle of Myeong-dong! Do note the Uber/Taxi apps can’t set pickup point right outside the hotel entrance, you got to walk out to main street, all else is good about the location They offer free beer and nachos or popcorn for the movie room. They went out of the way to find me birthday candles which I forgot to bring and can’t find anywhere in Myeong-dong. The room is great and cool concept except there are no windows. Late check-out is also not tolerated. Check-out after 11:10am is chargeable, I requested a-bit more time and only offered till 11:20am else charges start at 20,000KRW. No toothbrush and toothpaste as well, is sold for 6,500KRW for a pack of 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bring your own!"

"Convenient to travel from the airport—Bus 6009 stops nearby. The hotel is located right by the Orange Line subway. The staff provide good service and offer luggage storage. However, the downside is that the bed is very hard and not comfortable to sleep on. Overall, it’s a good stay."

"The hotel is super. The room was small, but there was storage space for our belongings. We weren't bothered by any excessive noise. The room was warm; the only thing was that in February, the bathroom was a bit chilly at times. The location is good. We enjoy walking and hardly used public transport, walking to about half of the attractions. Housekeeping was good, done every 2-3 days. Our bed linen was changed 2 or 3 times during our 11-day stay. With discounts from Trip.com, it turned out to be quite budget-friendly. We are completely satisfied. What's also important is that the lobby has a lot of amenities: free coffee, water, ice, tea, toast, jam, a washing machine and dryer, detergent, and a clothes steamer."

"On one of the nights during our stay, the fire alarm went off at 3 AM. We sat on the curb across the street, shivering in the cold for half an hour before the fire truck arrived. During that entire half hour, no staff member came out to explain the situation. Staff from Hotel Skypark II across the street did come out to check, and after the fire trucks arrived, we also saw Skypark staff communicating with the firefighters. About an hour later, other guests started returning to their rooms, and we followed suit. Even at that point, no staff from this hotel had appeared. On our way back to the room, we noticed a large amount of clutter in the stairwell (see photo) — a hazard in itself.  A few minutes after we got back to our room, the fire alarm suddenly went off again, but just for a few seconds, which startled us so much that we immediately went down to the front desk on the 3/F. At that time, there were two foreign female sitting in the common area. We thought they were just guests and chatted with them for a bit, only to find out during the conversation that they were actually staff members here. According to them, they were something like international students or exchange students working here— not trained professionals you would expect to handle an emergency. We also figured out during the conversation that they had actually been standing outside with the guests the whole time while we were all waiting for the fire trucks to arrive — yet even then, neither of them had come forward to say anything or offer any reassurance. We guessed that they were probably working here in exchange for a place to stay, which would explain why no one seemed to be properly in charge when things went wrong. Putting this incident aside, this hostel is actually quite good.  The three of us stayed in a family twin room. We were able to open two large suitcases in the entrance hallway, and there was plenty of space at the foot of the beds and underneath them to temporarily store things we had just bought. The double bed was more than spacious enough for two people, and there was also lots of room on the shelf behind our bed to place personal items. The only minor complaint is that a smell occasionally came from the ventilation system on the bathroom ceiling. Also, there is no shower stall/ bathtub (see photo), so when you shower, the entire floor and toilet bowl gets wet, and there is no place to hang clothes to change into after showering. The room was pretty clean. The common area has a vacuum cleaner, a washer-dryer, and a luggage scale. There is also a microwave, an oven, and a stovetop available for use. For breakfast, bread, eggs, cereal, milk, and Indomie instant noodles are provided for you to cook yourself.   The hotel's location is very convenient — it's right across from Hotel Skypark II. It's a short walk to Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station and Myeongdong, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, as well as a convenience store right across the street. If it weren't for this incident, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel."

"I had a really great stay at Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong—it was definitely the right choice. The location is perfect. I usually stay right in the middle of Myeongdong, but this time I chose Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong, which is slightly away from the busiest area. It felt much more comfortable and gave a more premium experience. It’s still very close to Myeongdong, and the surrounding area is clean and pleasant. The hotel also has a laundry zone, the rooms are very comfortable, and I especially appreciated the daily housekeeping. Overall, everything about the hotel is 10/10. The hotel informed me that there is a Seven Eleven on the first floor. Unfortunately, the staff there had a poor attitude—they seemed unwilling to serve a tourist and were visibly upset. I was also given incorrect change, and when I went back, it seemed they already knew they had given me less. I hope this can be improved for future guests."

"For this price point, I honestly think this hotel is pretty good! The room is a bit small – we struggled to open two suitcases – but it has a massive TV that you can cast Netflix and YouTube to. Watching TV on such a huge screen was incredibly satisfying. As for cleanliness, it's neither outstanding nor terrible; those who are particularly finicky might not like it. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, which is acceptable. You can also walk to Dongdaemun in a short while, so the location is decent (though next time I might choose to stay in Myeongdong). Ordering takeout is super convenient; you can basically get all the popular takeout options from Xiaohongshu. I highly recommend ordering takeout, the Korean delivery food is truly amazing and delicious! 🔥 The front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting us when we returned. Overall, it's a good hotel, suitable for those who aren't too picky about accommodation and want to save money 🩷❤️"

"The hotel is great, surrounded by restaurants, very new, and affordable. It's perfect for a layover, just a 20-minute taxi ride away. I'll definitely stay here again if I have another layover in Incheon. The self check-in and check-out process is simple and efficient. The 24-hour bar on the 13th floor is also a nice touch."

"This was not my first time staying here, but the service this time provided by Sophia is horrible. I checked in at 6:30-45pm that day. First Sophia just found 1 booking for me, then I told her I actually have 2 then she checked again and she found. Then said she offered me a room which upgraded, once I went up the room and I didn’t feel well, my ears were hurt might be because of the room pressure then I went down and requested if I can changed back my room type. Sophia just said to me all rooms are occupied and only corner room available. I was quite shocked because still have some groups behind me and wait for check-in but it’s fine maybe their room type is different. And she said one more corner room on sixth floor and I request changed to 6th floor, and Sophia said if I would like to change the text that I need to pay the upgrade fee. Huh??? What’s wrong with this situation? She offered me there a room available on sixth floor and then she said I need to pay the upgrade and at first she upgraded me. I told her I just need the type what I booked and no need any upgrade offer and she said all rooms are occupied. I asked what about you just mentioned the room on sixth floor? Sophia said oh sorry that was occupied too. Am I joke to you???? You didn’t check clearly beforehead? I don’t feel good with her attitude and she is working as a customer oriented industry needs to perform best service to customers. Her attitude comparing with others staff who worked there was not in standard. I appreciated for the service which provided by the manager and also the luggage helper and the housekeeper but not Sophia!!! I didn’t request any changes afterwards because she insisted my room just the one and only room available in the hotel that was so hilarious!!!"
