"Great value good and amazing service from helpful staff. If youre looking at budget accomodation of course you have to be realistic but I would stay here again. Nice area, laundromat 440m away, close to Hongjae metro and some nice temples etc. It was a little tricky to find with uber who take care with the address."

Great
JJesmin TThe room is warm enough during winter Dec and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast choices are limited. Their cheesecake is nice. We can refill drinking water and hot water at the lobby receptionist area. We are sad that we couldn't have the hanbok experience during our visit. It is supposed to provide free hanbok experience for photo shooting. They just told me that it was sent for cleaning. We stayed 3 nights, and the hanboks are not available :(
Lastly, the rate for a luxury room is a bit over priced. Their location is able to walk to nearby attractions but we have to walk a lot. 15-20mins walk to hanok village.

KKris7szThis is a nice hotel but unfortunately let's itself down in a few ways. The room is nice and well kitted out. It is also new. There is also water and coffee in the check in area and free pods for the washing machine which is a great touch. But unfortunately for us what let it down was the lack of any sort of cleaning/ changing of the sheets. For a 7 night stay you would at least expect the sheets to be changed once! There is an option on the tablet to request a sheet change which seems to come with a charge. Now onto the tablet. It's unfortunately placed in the most ridiculous place. It blocks the whole table it's on and is absolutely useless anyway. We requested toilet paper to no avail. When asked a cleaner we were told to go to the 3rd floor they are there. Next onto the towels. We left the towels outside to be changed after 4 days. Didn't receive any towels back. When asked about this we told again to get them from the 3rd floor draw. Which only has handtowls in it. Utterly bannanas. I asked where do I put rubbish and was told to take it to the 3rd floor. Luckily there were spare bin bags as I was doing rubbish runs every day of our trip. First time iv stayed in a hotel and had to go 5 floors to empty my own rubbish every day. Next onto the noise. Now we did expect it to be noisey due to reviews and the location. But bunches of girls screaming into 4am in the morning most nights is just wild. Especially during the weekdays when you would expect it to be quiet. Then there's the window. Which you can see is new but still somehow let's in a cold breeze. Also I don't know if it's the drains or the breeze in the window but the on and off smell of sulpher is wild(mostly on). I know Seoul has a sewer problem but the hallway smells great!. All in all I would recommend this hotel for a short stay if your partying. Anything else and I would give it a pass. Which is a shame. Oh and another cherry on the top. I asked to use a hoover as there is no brush or anything in the room. So managed to hoover my room. Again a first for a hotel stay. I'm starting to wonder would I have been better to book separate stays here rather than one big booking then I might have got some new sheets towels ect.

GGuest UserPros: A staff member was always around (even if in the back of reception), spoke good English and gave us a pouch of amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Big smart tv. They had underfloor heating. Unlimited water bottles. I think there was a coffee machine by reception too. We were impressed by how clean it was.
Cons: The space was a bit limited for 2 people, but we opened one of the suitcases on the sofa. There was only 1 big towel in the room, but the 2 smaller ones were still sufficient. Only 1 key card to share.
Despite initial worries because the price seemed too good to be true, there were no downsides. Pretty good value for money overall. We were worried it was a love motel but it was not the case. The alleyway wasn't bad or scary if you are walking from the main road, so I recommend that route if anyone was worried from other reviews. Make sure you copy the hangul/korean name of the hotel for maps/uber. It was a good hotel to stay at coming from Gimpo airport late night. Managed to order food delivery on baemin too :)

YYaredaifuyouThis hotel greatly improved my impression of Korea. First, the price was great; it didn't increase during holidays and was still very affordable. Second, the amenities were excellent: free multi-plug charging cables, disposable face wash, skincare products, bath towels, bagged sterilized pajamas, condoms, and even a computer. These amenities are either unavailable or chargeable in China. Oh, and they even had a shoehorn, which I've only ever seen in five-star hotels. The difference was stark. It's also about a ten-minute walk from the subway station, just across one traffic light. There are convenience stores, restaurants, a laundry room, and a small supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Korea.

GGuest UserIt was nice that they let us take one drink per person, and the room was spacious and clean, which was nice😍 The staff were all very friendly! It was such a great experience that my Japanese friend said he wanted to stay here again when he comes to Korea❤️ I'm glad you made good memories.
GGuest UserA bit hard to find. Turn left at the intersection in picture 1, then go through the door in picture 2 and take the elevator to the 4th floor. The room is very small, with hostel-like facilities. The shared bathroom is clean, but there's no toilet, so you have to use the public toilets in the building. Otherwise, I'm quite satisfied.

ささっちャんAbout a 5-minute walk from Dongmyo Station? I think Exit 3 was the closest. There's also an elevator.
It's a completely self-check-in system.
You scan a QR code from LINE or similar to add them as a friend, then send screenshots of your reservation confirmation and passport via chat. After a short wait, your room number and room PIN will be sent, and you can enter your room.
The room cleaning wasn't exactly spotless... It felt a bit lacking, but it wasn't dirty by any means.
Water pressure in the shower was perfectly fine.
For a two-night stay, two face towels were provided. If you needed more, you could just grab them from the front desk area. However, if you came back late at night, there were no towels left...
The air conditioning seemed to be entirely controlled by the front desk, as I couldn't adjust the cooler myself.
There's a small G25 convenience store right in front of the hotel.
A hairdryer and power adapter were available.
I ordered delivery (Pedal) and it arrived at the correct address.
AAnonymous UserOverall I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and quickly moved me when I had an issue. On my first night, I felt unsafe due to an aggressive roommate and left to stay elsewhere. The next day I was given a new room with a respectful roommate, and I felt safe, rested well, and had a great experience. I really appreciated how the staff handled everything
P. S.
Special thanks to Manager Noel, receptionist Anna, Gabriel and Isabella!
GGuest UserWe were able to locate the guest house easily using Naver Map. However, our first struggle was how to reach the destination itself.
The guesthouse is located in an uphill area, almost near Namsan Cable Car (600km/20min walk). A great tip we discovered (after struggling of walking uphill for 2 days 😂) was using the escalators/elevators near the Ihoeyeong Memorial Hall. Go straight from there and you’ll find a 7-Eleven convenience store upon crossing the street. Go left then right at the first wide alley way you see, it should be uphill. Keep on walking until you see a signage of mama guest house on your right side.
We booked a day before our arrival so we could immediately check-in in our rooms. A note welcomed us and our keys were found at the reception area. Pls don’t forget to remove your shoes and change into the slippers they provide found in the shoe cabinet at the left side of the entrance.
Our rooms were next to each other, but differ in size. Bathroom was okay, but I hope they’ll fix the sink’s pipe problem in room 104 since it leaks on the floor upon using. I suggest buying shower filters (5,000 Won) since the water in SK is quite harsh. I suggest to test how you’ll adjust the temperature when showering. There were no bidets in our bathrooms.
Always bring your keycard with you whenever you go out. They don’t go into your rooms like hotels would. If you have any requests, just leave a note on their desk (ie. New towels, tissue, etc.) They also don’t have laundry machines. Do not eat inside the rooms, only in the kitchen which is in the basement.
If you feel like your trash bins are getting full, trash bins are found in the lobby and segregate everything according to their waste category. Just think of it as you’re staying on your own room.
Walls are thin, made of light wood materials so I wouldn’t suggest talking nor listening to your phone loudly.
Breakfast menu were cereals with milk, bread and flavored jam, and instant noodles. You can only consume what’s inside the fridge unless there’s a note that a room guest owns it. You can cook and buy your own food, just make sure you clean up after. You can also fill-up your water bottles here.
Going to different areas are easy too since it’s near Myeongdong Station exit 1. If you’re planning to go shopping in Myeongdong, just go straight after exit 1 and you should see E-Mart across the street then cross on the first crosswalk you see. If you want to enter the “main” street, go left until you see the bug HBAF building.
Overall, I think our stay was a good since the staff we get see was very accommodating to our requests. I just hope they’ll fix some of their bathroom leakage.
