**Val*Hotel location is excellent with Insadong Cultural street just behind the hotel. Lots of eateries, tea houses, cafes and quaint little shops selling everything from pottery, tea sets, fragrances, unique crafts, amd many more. There are also art galleries to step into and refresh your mind. Easily can spend half a day there. For the location, I'd recommend this hotel. The rooms however are on the smaller side.

GGuest UserThe Sky Room's layout made the room feel a bit small, and I couldn't see N Seoul Tower from the window. I think a double room would have made it easier to unpack my luggage. The location, however, is very convenient. It's about a five-minute walk from Euljiro 3-ga Station (Line 2), Exit 12, and about a 10-minute walk to Myeongdong. There's also a convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is super handy, especially in the middle of winter when you don't want to go outside.

Had a great stay here and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Myeongdong, surrounded by shopping, food options, and with easy access to public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and allowed for good rest. Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful throughout the stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, great value for money and a very convenient base for exploring Seoul. I would definitely stay here again.

FFajrinaRohmatI booked this trip last minute and didn’t have many expectations for the hotel, but I ended up having such a pleasant stay. They have a mini kitchen with kitchen utensils available apon request which was a big plus because I could reheat and cook simple meals. There’s also a washing machine for quick laundry and a toilet with a bidet — super plus point!
The location is great — very close to Chungmuro Station, near Myeongdong but much quieter and peaceful. There are buses that go almost everywhere, and a CU right in front of the hotel. The bed was comfy, the room size felt just right, and housekeeping was consistent. Rubbish was cleared every day and fresh towels were provided daily too.
Thank you for the lovely stay! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Seoul 🫶

MMengmengchifan！The hotel is extremely close to the airport shuttle bus stop, and the shuttle even announces the hotel name, making it very easy to find. The guy at the front desk, even though he didn't speak Chinese, was able to communicate seamlessly in English and was very enthusiastic! While the room was small, it had everything you needed and was quite clean. The only minor downside was that their electricity seemed a bit unstable, as charging electronic devices was incredibly slow. Also, contrary to what was stated on the details page, there isn't 24-hour hot water, but there's still hot water for showering, just not super scalding. The heating in winter was very comfortable, usually staying around 22 to 23 degrees Celsius. (If you're Chinese and reading this, please remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and gargle cup!)

NNIKKI 1309This hotel is right by exit 6 or 7, next to a Starbucks. If you go out of exit 3, you can find BHC fried chicken (the tteokbokki is especially good!). Their original fries are also delicious, and the fried chicken is great too. The hotel's front desk is on B1 (take the escalator down one floor). It's very convenient for guests who need to do laundry, as you can wash and dry clothes right in your room. However, the bathroom design is a bit problematic; water flows into the dry toilet area when you shower (there's no separate wet and dry zone). You have to use a mop to block it off afterwards. The room is also quite small, making it difficult to open luggage. Oh, and they don't provide any disposable amenities.

SShuijuedalanzhuThe bathroom had really bad ventilation, so it smelled terrible. Every time I used it, I had to quickly close the door, which made me reluctant to shower. I just wanted to get out as fast as possible after using the toilet.
The front desk staff on the night shift was very nice and even spoke Chinese. They were always willing to help.
However, the bathroom really brought down the whole experience, so I'd say it was just average. I probably won't be booking here again.
