Guest UserFive-star experience! Highly flexible front desk and perfect location! The service quality here is absolutely top-notch. I had a special reason that required an early check-in, and the front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and flexible in handling my request, making my arrival stress-free. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Moreover, the location is superb and extremely convenient for shopping and exploring. I cannot praise the front desk team enough for their professional and warm attitude. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit!

AichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was excellent (you can choose your pillow at the front desk), and there are water dispensers and ice machines in the hallways. It's only a 3-minute walk from Anguk subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. Gyeongbokgung Palace is also within walking distance. This place is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul who want to hit the main attractions. However, if you're planning on shopping in Gangnam or Seongsu, it might be a bit far. If you're traveling with elderly guests, you can ask the front desk for a non-slip mat (as the rooms have bathtubs, not walk-in showers).

First off, the location is super convenient! It's right opposite Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and in the same building as Hyundai City Outlets. There's a subway station, bus stops, and express bus stops nearby, so getting around is a breeze. The room itself was pretty spacious and very clean, and the staff were all very welcoming. And remember, kids' breakfast is FREE! Kids' breakfast is FREE! Kids' breakfast is FREE! On our first day, there was a ********* staff member at the front desk who insisted we pay for our child's breakfast. She seemed unfamiliar with the policy; kids' breakfast should have been half price (5,000 KRW per day), but she didn't know and was too hesitant to ask, so she tried to charge us 10,000 KRW. We thought that was too much and didn't pay. Interestingly, the next day, the breakfast staff just waved us in, and for the entire four days we stayed, no one ever asked us for a breakfast voucher for our child. Everything else was great though. Lots of Japanese guests stay here, probably because of the bathtubs in the rooms.

DongfangerwenAlthough I didn't see many reviews for this hotel on Xiaohongshu, it was relatively cheaper during the Dragon Boat Festival compared to other hotels around Myeongdong, and the double rooms were larger than those near other commercial areas. It's a Japanese-style hotel, popular with many Japanese guests. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, and staff are available to assist if needed – the service attitude is excellent. The bathroom has a bathtub and toiletries, so you only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The room also provides bath salts and eye masks. The soundproofing is very good. Right outside the hotel, there's a small CU convenience store, a Starbucks, and a food street, so dining out was very convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae Department Store, Myeongdong, or the subway station. There's also an Olive Young on the way to the subway station. The best part is that the Incheon Airport limousine bus stops right on the street outside the hotel, making travel to and from the airport incredibly convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again – highly recommended! Chinese people don't lie to Chinese people!

white627The location is great, right in Euljiro 3-ga. The room facilities are also good, with a washing machine and dryer. Four of us girls stayed together, and there was a big table where we could chat, do our makeup, and skincare every day. It was a very enjoyable trip.

Penguin Graph Lost in TokyoThe room is really nice and comfortable. We really had a good time when stay.
Check-in and Check-out is really smooth and comfortable.
There has many convenience stores around, however, the restaurant around is quite limited and close early.
We love to stay again if we have a chance.

Guest UserFirst off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. In the end, I had a cup of instant noodles and a glass of grape juice.

Guest UserThe location is great even though it’s not near any train station. There’s airport bus limousine nearby. My aircon was not working (unable to adjust the temperature) while my friends’ room are able to do so. The staff was not able to resolve the issue and claimed it’s normal when I showed him it’s now. They did not help to resolve the situation. Room is clean but there was a paper shopping bag left in my room (I saw it during check in). Bed is made up of two single beds pushed together. The walking space around the room is narrow, difficult to open up the luggage if it’s big.

EddrenI had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my trip to Seoul. The hotel was nice and clean, and the check-in process was fast and smooth, which made arrival stress-free. Although the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable enough for 3 people.
One of the highlights is the location, there are plenty of food stalls around the hotel, offering authentic local bites without the overwhelming crowds you’d find in Myeongdong. Personally, I found this area much more enjoyable and relaxing.
The metro station is just a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city.
Travel Tip:
From the airport, take the train to Seoul Station (either normal or express), then transfer to the blue line to Chungmuro Station. If you’re carrying luggage, Exit 5 is the best choice since it has an escalator — just walk toward Starbucks. Otherwise, Exit 7 is a quicker option.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and well-located stay in Seoul.
