"Ever since I received such warm assistance from the Shangri-La during the pandemic, I've chosen this hotel every time I visit Chengdu. Although the hotel is a bit older, all its facilities are very well-maintained. The gym has a full range of high-quality equipment, and the changing rooms offer both steam and dry saunas, as well as a hot tub, definitely meeting a five-star standard. Towels are always plentiful. Housekeeping is punctual every day, and there's even a turn-down service between 6 and 7 PM. I find the breakfast quite good, with a variety of options including Japanese cuisine. The location is also excellent; for younger, more energetic guests, the Lan Kwai Fong bar street is just 100 meters to the right of the hotel. All things considered, the Shangri-La remains one of the top hotels in Chengdu."

"Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!"

"Staying at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu was a luxurious experience, truly feeling like I was 'above the clouds.' The hotel lobby, located on the 50th floor, offers expansive views and boasts a fantastic ambiance, blending retro artistic style with a touch of Sichuan charm. There was even a bamboo weaving exhibition in the lobby during my stay, perfect for snapping some Instagram-worthy photos. The room itself was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning night views of the Twin Towers and the city lights below. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bathroom clean and elegant, and the toiletries had a wonderfully sophisticated scent. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a remarkably quiet stay despite being in a bustling city. The service was attentive and thoughtful. I received a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and the breakfast spread was diverse and delicious. What's more, the butler service even delivered my takeout directly to the room. Whether for a vacation or a business trip, this is definitely a top-tier choice in Chengdu and well worth experiencing."

"The loft I stayed in this time was better than I expected; the room was very clean. The subway is right downstairs, which makes getting around super convenient. There are tons of places to eat nearby; you can find a restaurant easily just by stepping out. It's also not far from Jiuyan Bridge and Chunxi Road, which is great for shopping or enjoying the night view. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Chengdu."
