The hotel has a great environment. There's a light fragrance as soon as you enter the door. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. When you leave, they even ask if you want to take two more bottles of water. Thumbs up! There's also a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. I'll stay here again next time I go to Disneyland.

🌟 5 points are great | Business trip party gospel! Shanghai Dashe lyf Hotel is too appetizing to me ✨
I came to Shanghai on a business trip and booked this one casually. It was originally convenient for transportation, but the result was a surprise. I really recommend it to friends on business or travel ~
The most satisfying thing is convenience! The surrounding traffic is very smooth. It is especially worry-free to commute to my office. There is no need to spend time on the road. The party on business trips really need this convenience. And the hotel is owned by Ascott, the style is very young, the walnut is with olive green, and some green plants are embellished. It is not dull. The lobby and corridors have a sense of design. It is good-looking and very aesthetic for our young people.
Focus on boasting the room! The bedding is soft and the mattress is comfortable. You can relax and fall asleep after lying down every day. The sound insulation is also OK and will not be noisy. The most surprising thing is that the window can be opened. It has been raining in Shanghai for the past two days. I was worried that it would be stuffy. As a result, the window was opened for ventilation, and the damp feeling was much less. It was refreshing and relieved a lot of fatigue on business trips. There are actually three and a half meals of coffee in the room. I usually like to drink this very much. I just poke my kind of cattle and horses! The matching cups are also very simple, the value is online, I want to secretly take them back to the office, hahaha.
The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water comes quickly, the water flow is stable, the focus is on the shower, the water is particularly comfortable, after a busy day to take a hot bath, the fatigue is washed away, the details are really in place.
The hotel also has an open leisure area. After busy work, sit for a while and have a cup of coffee, which is more comfortable than staying in the room, not so closed, which is a plus.
The overall situation really exceeded expectations. Convenience, appearance, and comfort are all online. Even the small details of coffee and shower are on my heart. I will definitely choose this one next time I come to Shanghai for a business trip. I have already recommended it to my colleagues who travel frequently!

Next to the Chinese Medicine University Examination Hall, the room is quite large and clean, but the soundproofing is average, you have to close all the windows to soundproof it. You can store your luggage, and breakfast is self-service.
We’re located in Zhangjiang Science City, next to Zhangjiang Sciengate Towers and Science Hall. We offer access to Xuelin Road Station via an underground walkway. Lujiazui Financial Center, Shanghai Disneyland, and PVG Airport are within 30 minutes and SHA Airport is within 45. Enjoy our meeting space, on-site dining, fitness center, and indoor pool.

This newly opened hotel isn't far from the metro station, and all the staff, from top to bottom, had great attitudes. However, the front desk and breakfast restaurant staff seemed a bit green in their operations. On the other hand, the housekeeping aunties and executive lounge employees were incredibly warm, professional, and provided excellent service. The room was very clean, but it was a shame that this room type, which was the most expensive apart from the suites, wasn't really worth it. It just had a rather useless, 'chicken-rib' balcony that actually made the room feel more cramped. As soon as I checked in, I found the electric curtains weren't working and wouldn't come down. Luckily, I discovered this before bedtime, otherwise, I might have thought I was staying in an old hotel! The gym's changing rooms had a sauna but no plunge pool, which felt like a downgrade in facilities. There were also very few showers, and half of them either had no water or very weak water pressure. On the plus side, all the food at the hotel was excellent. The three meals at the executive lounge and breakfast restaurant were impressive in both taste and texture – one of the few hotels where the food actually makes you feel happy. Plus, the coffee and juice were also great. With Christmas approaching, the hotel's decorations and music really added to the ambiance. Overall, it was okay, but it didn't quite justify the price, and there's definitely room for improvement in many areas.
The hotel is located at the core intersection of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park and Pudong Software Park in Pudong New Area. It is surrounded by complete dining and entertainment facilities and is only a 10-minute walk from Changtai Shopping Mall, adjacent to Zhangjiang Theme Park. The hotel is close to Jinke Road Station on Metro Line 2. You can take Bus Pudong Line 12 for 3 stops right at the hotel entrance; it takes only 8 stops on Metro Line 2 to reach the Bund and Oriental Pearl Tower, where you can enjoy the breeze along the Bund or go up the Oriental Pearl Tower for a panoramic view of the Huangpu River. The hotel is near the Shanghai New International Expo Center, about a 13-minute drive, or 6 stops by Bus Pudong Line 28. Shanghai Disneyland Resort is about a 15-minute drive away. The hotel's design concept focuses on reading and cultural photography, with high-quality room facilities and attentive and warm service, offering you a healthy lifestyle that is 'natural, tranquil, warm, and simple.'

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!
MMaria.ezI booked this hotel expecting a proper 4-star stay, but unfortunately, it felt closer to a hostel in terms of comfort and service.
The biggest issue was the room temperature. The AC only works for cooling — even in cold weather. The receptionist told us at check-in that there’s no heating. I was traveling with my son, and after a freezing night, he got sick and I woke up with a sore throat. Going to a cold bed after a long day is just miserable. The cleaner kept turning the AC back to cooling mode after each cleaning, so we’d return to an even colder room.
There’s a smart toilet with a warm seat — ironic, given the rest of the room was like an icebox. No bathrobe either. Shower was fine, but that’s about it.
Breakfast was very mediocre. Rice and side dishes were cold, the place was overcrowded, and many tables stayed dirty for a long time with no staff helping. The only positive: coffee was good.
Service attitude felt like “whatever mode” — not what you’d expect from a 4-star. I asked for an upper floor with a view during booking, but it was completely ignored. I chose a room with a window — ended up on the 3rd floor facing another building’s windows, with rubbish bins downstairs. I could see into the neighbors’ apartments. Worst view I’ve ever had.
They also claim on their website that currency exchange is available, but when I asked, staff told me to wait for banks to open and go there myself.
The location is just okay — 10 min walk to Yu Garden and subway, 25 min to Nanjing Lu. Laundry room is a plus (free detergent), but expect a queue in the evening.
Overall, this is a very average hotel. Definitely not 4-star. If there’s no other choice, it’s tolerable — but there are many better places to stay near Yu Garden. I would not recommend this hotel.
LLingling Kotchanan Tanrattanakul TanrattanakulJust the first night we had problems. From 11 PM onwards, there was a lot of noise coming from what sounded like a bar outside. Both the music and people talking and laughing loudly could be heard clearly in our room, even though we double-checked and the windows were tightly shut.
We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM that night, very tired. It was our first time in Shanghai, and we had an early flight from Chiang Mai (waking up at 4 AM to get to the airport) and walked a lot upon arrival. Discovering this situation made us want to change rooms. We even had to cancel our tour plans for the next morning because we couldn't sleep. We called the front desk for earplugs, but we're not used to them and couldn't sleep with them in. Thankfully, the hotel helped us switch rooms first thing in the morning.
After we changed rooms, we didn't encounter any more issues.
The hotel's location is good.
The bed is comfortable.
The hot water is good.
The service is excellent.
We would come back again.
GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!
CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested.
The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk.
Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages.
The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen.
BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best.
Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.
GGuest UserThis classic hotel lives up to its reputation. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. Concierges Aaron and Katrina were particularly patient and detailed, making communication pleasant and smooth. Overall, the stay was comfortable and delightful.
The hotel has a timeless charm, beautifully preserved like a beauty who defies age. The Long Bar, specially recommended by the concierge, is also exceptional. With the Bund and Oriental Pearl Tower outside the window and the Waldorf Astoria inside, it offers a truly superb experience of Shanghai's Bund. Highly recommended! 👍
However, do note that you need to be on a higher floor to enjoy a full panoramic view of the Bund. The picture shows the view from the 17th floor.
GGuest UserGreat location, after all, it's an old alleyway, and once you step into the room, it's really lovely. Very cozy, and the small attic was very comfortable to stay in.
UUeeLeeHost are super friendly and helpful, the location is very convenient and easy to find, near tourist attractions and shopping areas. The place is just in the local area with you can see real local people life. The room is clean, nice and cozy, you will got everything you need during the stay like towels, shampoo, dryer, toothbrush etc., they even have projector you can use, I really have a good time with my friends, we spend night time ordering food and snack and have a small party, watching our favorite shows. Recommend for anyone who staying with friends or family.
GGuest UserMy stay at the W Shanghai - The Bund was truly warmed by Karina from the loyalty team. Seeing that I was injured, Karina took meticulous care of me throughout my stay, proactively offering help and thoughtful well-wishes, which made me feel incredibly at ease. Not only was the service impeccable, but her attitude was also incredibly gentle and considerate. I truly felt the W Hotel's emphasis and care for its guests. Highly recommend, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!
EEKoRyoGreat location with convenient transportation. The service was excellent, and it's very close to the US Consulate, which was a huge plus. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep! It's super convenient whether you're here for a job interview, a relaxing staycation, or exploring the city as a tourist.
