"Excellent services!the room is clean and spacious. Lot of breakfast choices, love the pasta, cheese and pepperoni :) friendly and great staff from the front office to housekeeping. Strategic location. 10 mins to Global Harbour Mall and 30 mins to Hongqiao airport. They also have a free shuttle airport services. Recommended hotel in Shanghai."
"The hotel is a very nice and clean hotel. Lots of state of the art amenities. The washer and dryer are connected to the tv rooms upstairs, so you know which washer and dryer are complete before going downstairs. Very convenient! Una, the front desk receptionist, was able to help with a request to call stores in Shanghai to see if a particular item I wanted was in stock. Friendly and warm staff. However, be warned the sofa bed in the bedroom (family suite) is exactly how you see it in the photos. It does not pull out into a bed (someone came to set up the sofa for me). I was traveling with 2 friends. I slept fine on the couch but if you are more particular about your bed then you should switch to the 2 bedroom suites. Also the door to the toilet and shower/sink area is one single sliding door."
"It was such a pleasure for us to stay at Amara! We had a lovely vacation, and the staff was also very welcoming! Love the high floor view and the room is spacious and clean 🥰 Located in Putuo neighbourhood. It takes roughly 5-7 minutes to walk to Changshou Road Metro Station. Modern bathroom design with great amenities! The gym was well-equipped, but the pool was closed when we visited. Definitely coming again if we come back to Shanghai 🇨🇳"
"I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Changfeng Park. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it easy to get around the city. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A highlight was the delicious variety of Chinese food available at breakfast, which gave me a taste of local flavors. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai!"
"Because of TNT concert, we booked this hotel, and it turned out to be way more convenient than we expected. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the metro station. From Fengqiao Road, take Line 11 for just 6 stops to Shanghai Swimming Center, then walk about 7 minutes to reach the concert venue (Shanghai Stadium). Besides that, we can also take Line 11 from Fengqiao Road to Jiangsu Road and transfer to Line 2, which takes us to Dongnanxi Road, People’s Square, Nanjing East Road (The Bund), Lujiazui, and many other famous attractions. Just in my opinion, the room is quite small, but it’s enough for two people. The price is affordable, and the cleanliness is good. Most importantly, since it was our first time in Shanghai, we didn’t really know how to get around or where to go, so we asked the hotel staff. The receptionist was super kind, explained everything in detail, and even gave us directions. We were really impressed!"
"We stayed as a couple for 2 nights at the Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of Chinese and Western choices, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located right by Langao Road Metro Station (Line 7), making it easy to reach the Bund and other attractions, though it does take around 20–30 minutes. Overall, a great option for couples looking for comfort, good facilities, and easy access to the city, even if it’s not in the central tourist area."
"First time staying here, transportation is convenient. There is a subway station at the door. It is easily accessible everywhere. The salesperson who received me was very enthusiastic! Hope to have the opportunity to come again!"
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the view — whether from the room or the rooftop, it was truly impressive. I also appreciated the amenities: a well-equipped gym, a relaxing pool area, and a delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. The location was ideal, close to restaurants, shops, and public transport, which made getting around very convenient. I also liked how quiet the rooms were despite being in a busy area. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near Nanjing pedestrian road, only5-10 mins walk from Mosaic department store. The family room is really big and suitable for big Family of 4-6 people😊 There are lots of plugs in the room. The room is well equipped with all necessary things. The only one point I want to improve is to change some breakfast menu. (I stayed here 3 days , same menu everyday😂) The flushing water in the toilet is not that strong, but it is nice automated toilet! The staffs are very polite and friendly. My family love this hotel so much😍
GGuest UserI’ve been visiting The Peninsula for a decade, and it’s a magnificent hotel. The location is brilliant, the indoor pool is one of the best in the world, the spa team is phenomenal. Yet on this recent visit, the service, while quite good, wasn’t the sort of impeccable, seamless joy one hopes for: the early staffing for breakfast was limited, without a dedicated host to welcome and seat guests; I realize it was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, but a twenty minute wait just to be able to order room service is a bit much; over half of the deserts on the menu were unavailable. The room is wonderfully comfortable as always, fantastic housekeeping and amenities—I do hope they can get back to the very high bar they’ve set for themselves across all of their hotels. Plus truly stunning views if you’re in a river view room.
GGuest UserI would like to sincerely commend Jude from the concierge team at Waldorf Astoria for his exceptional service. Despite it being 12am, Jude was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting me with a parcel that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Jude — his dedication did not go unnoticed and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. The other team members in the concierge department also did a helpful job with our baggage. It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my Meituan food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!
GGuest UserThe place is acceptable, the price is reasonable, the service is acceptable, and the room is acceptable considering the price. Overall, this hotel is acceptable.
