I absolutely loved this room! It had a tatami tea table and a small balcony. There were even more seating areas on the rooftop. The bedroom, toilet, and shower were all separate, which was great for functionality and privacy. The owner was super enthusiastic and gave me excellent tips for sightseeing. Plus, the electric scooter rental price was incredibly good, making my Hangzhou trip very pleasant. I'll definitely be back to Hangzhou and will stay here again!

The room was spacious and clean, and I especially loved the lush green view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. I booked this place for easy access to Baoshi Mountain. I went up from Qixia Ridge Road next to Yue Fei Temple, circled past the Chunzheng Bookstore after reaching the summit, and descended from Baoshi Mountain Xia Nong. From Baoshi Mountain, you can not only see the Baochu Pagoda but also West Lake, directly facing the Broken Bridge. It's been many years since I last climbed Baoshi Mountain; I used to hike it every year with friends from Zhejiang University's Yuquan Campus. The owner also gifted a small box of Longjing tea, which was very fragrant.

This hotel is perfectly situated right at the foot of Beigaofeng Mountain. It's an easy 7-8 minute walk to Lingyin Temple and only about 100 meters from the God of Wealth Temple cable car – the location is absolutely fantastic. Since Lingyin Temple became free, ride-hailing services and taxis aren't allowed into the scenic area during the day. Luckily, the hotel offers a shuttle service directly to the subway station on weekends and holidays, making getting around super convenient. I had a wonderful night's sleep and was able to enjoy breakfast before heading off to burn incense at the temple – it felt so relaxed and comfortable. I even saw a chubby, adorable little squirrel foraging in the hotel's tree outside – too cute!

I specifically requested a loft room, mainly drawn in by the oval window I saw online. **Layout:** Upon entering, the bathroom with the toilet and shower stall is immediately to your right. Further in, you'll find the vanity, and the bed is to its right. 🔥It's worth noting that because it's a loft, you might not be able to stand completely upright in the area leading to the bed.🔥 However, I factored this in when I booked, so it wasn't an issue for me. **Surroundings:** It's super convenient – just a short walk down a flight of stairs from the Lingyin East bus station. It's also very close to Lingyin Temple, and the area is full of guesthouses and small restaurants, which is great. **Cleanliness:** Very good. Generally tidy and clean. The bathroom had no unpleasant odors. However, the showerhead had weak water pressure, and the water wasn't very hot. **Noise Level:** The sound insulation between rooms is excellent, but it's noisy outside. 🔥A heads-up: The window by the bed faces directly onto the road and the bus stop. Many tour groups visiting Feilaifeng arrive at this stop, so in the afternoon, there are a lot of tourists, and the guides' megaphones create a buzzing, noisy environment. At night, there are many vehicles passing by on the road, which is also loud. I was aware of this before booking, and due to my itinerary that day, it didn't bother me much. It's something to consider based on individual preference. I recommend using the air conditioning rather than opening the windows, as many mosquitoes and insects can fly in.

On our third night in Hangzhou, we spontaneously booked a twin room at this guesthouse. At nearly 300, the price wasn't exactly cheap. We found out upon arrival that there are two locations: Yuexi Garden Guesthouse (132 Qingzhiwu) and Yuexi Cinema Guesthouse (154 Qingzhiwu). Check-in and the actual room weren't in the same building, but they weren't far apart either. The landlady's service attitude was decent. The complimentary special activities were at the check-in location, so we didn't bother trying them. The room's cleanliness was alright; I felt a slight itch in the morning, but it was nothing serious. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very convenient. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great; you could hear water flowing and people talking. The router under the projector screen was very bright at night, and its flashing reflection on both sides of the ceiling was disruptive to sleep. I suggest covering it up. Getting around here mainly relies on taxis, or you can walk to West Lake for a stroll. There's hot water available on the first floor for guests, which is a nice touch for women, and free umbrellas are provided at the entrance. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

This hotel is small but exquisite, offering a great overall experience and excellent value for money. Although it's been open for a while and the rooms show a bit of age, they are still very comfortable. The hotel is quite generous with its amenities, providing Le Labo toiletries and Voss water. Even the mini-bar drinks are of good quality, not just cheap fillers. The welcome fruit was also top-notch. The semi-buffet breakfast was good too – hot and convenient. The hotel is located near the Lingyin Scenic Area, which can be a bit inconvenient if you don't have a car. However, if you're driving, just inform the hotel in advance, and you'll have smooth access to the West Lake area, which is great. I stayed here with my parents, and it was very convenient for visiting Lingyin Temple and the Botanical Garden. On a nice day, strolling around the area is very pleasant.

The environment is very good in the small courtyard, the room has a floor-to-ceiling glass facing the tea table in the yard, and the late check-in is smooth. The room was cleaned and comfortable, and it was quiet to sleep at night. In the morning, I can hear the bells in the temple, and the place to be quiet is really good. The location is also very good in the scenic area, the homestay is 50 meters from the entrance, very easy to find, a very good experience, come back next time

I chose the Atour Hotel West Lake in Hangzhou, and it's not my first time staying at an Atour. As always, it felt like a home away from home. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the location is super convenient, very close to the subway exit, making getting around a breeze. It was a great stay!

1. **Location:** The hotel is situated right by West Lake. If you're taking the bus, get off at Yuemiao Station. From the hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk to Quyuan Garden in West Lake, which is incredibly convenient if you want to see the cherry blossoms there. It's also very close to Lingyin Temple and Hangzhou Botanical Garden. Prince Bay Park is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. One thing to note, though, is that the hotel is right next to Yue Fei's Tomb. You might want to consider if that bothers you; I only found out after checking in (facepalm 🤦). 2. **Service:** For a price of over 400 RMB, the room amenities and cleanliness were decent. However, the exhaust fan was broken. I called the front desk, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but no one ever came, and I didn't get any follow-up. Another point, and this is my biggest complaint, is that we booked a standard twin room. Right outside the room was a small road. I initially thought it wouldn't be busy, but cars and electric bikes were passing by from evening until early morning, making quite a lot of noise. 3. **Cleanliness:** Overall, the hygiene was good. 4. **Food:** There are a few local eateries at the hotel's intersection, but dining options in general are a bit inconvenient. However, you can take a taxi to Dongshanlong Market nearby, where there are more food choices. I recommend the stir-fried eel noodles from Zhiweiguan.

This hotel is beautifully situated by West Lake, directly opposite the stunning Quyuan Garden (Curved Yard and Lotus Pool in Summer), making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and saving a lot on taxi fares. If you prefer to stay in during the evening, you can simply stroll around the hotel grounds, as Jinxi Hotel itself feels like a scenic destination. Listen to the insects, watch the sunset – Jinxi Hotel is truly the best choice for a vacation. Plus, the price is reasonable. My favorite part was the hotel's breakfast; it had a wide variety of delicious options. Enjoy a wonderful meal, then happily explore the beautiful West Lake. What a beautiful life experience!
