Our group of three guys went on a self-drive trip to Western Sichuan, and this guesthouse was hands down the biggest surprise and highlight of the entire journey. The overall experience even surpassed that of the Tianyuan Howard Johnson I'd stayed at before, offering incredible value for money. We had only booked one room, but the owner was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded us to a larger, more spacious room free of charge. They also provide a dedicated butler service, with staff who are attentive, responsive, and quickly and properly handle any requests, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. I absolutely have to rave about the hotel breakfast. The freshly cooked rice noodles were divine, with lamb that was stewed to perfection – tender and flavorful, not dry at all. The entire breakfast spread was thoughtfully curated, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and a well-planned nutritional profile. Eating it each morning instantly banished the fatigue from our high-altitude drives. The courtyard environment was immaculately maintained; the cleanliness was impeccable. There were also gentle, adorable cats in the yard that you could pet. Free coffee and ice were always available in the common areas, and relaxing in the courtyard during downtime created a wonderful ambiance. What truly touched us was an unexpected incident during our trip: we had a tire blowout while driving. Stranded on an unfamiliar road, we were at a loss. Thankfully, the kind owner stepped in to help, proactively contacting a reliable repair shop, overseeing the entire tire replacement process for us, and even arranging for our car to be safely stored. Afterwards, they thoughtfully provided transportation to and from Jiuzhaigou. This heartwarming assistance, which went above and beyond the call of duty, made us feel incredibly secure on our journey in a foreign place. Whether it was the facilities, the dining quality, the butler service, or the owner's outstanding hospitality, everything was faultless. This was the most memorable accommodation from our Western Sichuan trip, and I will definitely be highly recommending it to all my friends planning to travel the Western Sichuan loop. It will be our top choice again next time we visit!

Our stay at Jiuzhai Yunshang was truly special and one of the highlights of our trip to Jiuzhaigou. Nestled beautifully in the mountains, the inn offers a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. A special mention has to go to our personal butler, 扎西, who made our stay incredibly memorable. He was warm, thoughtful and attentive without ever being intrusive. He made sure our time was well spent by arranging wonderful experiences such as mountain mushroom picking and a visit to a local Zhang household, giving us the opportunity to experience the local culture and way of life. What we especially appreciated was the perfect balance between activities and personal time. 扎西 made sure we had things to look forward to while also giving us plenty of space to simply enjoy the villa, take in the mountain scenery and listen to the rain in complete peace. It was exactly the kind of slow, relaxing escape we needed. The villa itself was beautiful, with clean and modern interiors complemented by gorgeous Zhang-style aesthetics. It felt luxurious yet warm and deeply connected to its surroundings. Thank you to 扎西 and the team for making our stay so thoughtful and memorable. This hotel is absolutely amazing! The location is superb, very close to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance, only 5 kilometers away. When you open the window in the room, you're greeted by a stunning view of rolling mountains and mist, it's truly ethereal. The room itself is decorated in a ******* style, which is very unique and charming. Breakfast was also incredibly rich and delicious. Our butler, Xiao Ban, was fantastic – so warm, attentive, and his service attitude was impeccable. He helped us book VIP tickets for the scenic area and patiently answered all our questions. In the evening, the hotel offers special ******* cuisine, and there's even free late-night snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch! Other restaurants are also not far, just a 5-10 minute walk. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

This time in Jiuzhaigou, I booked this B&B with a private hot spring in Zhangza Town, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with a cozy and comfortable off-white color scheme. The outdoor private hot spring pool was the highlight – soaking in the warm water under the stars at night created an incredibly atmospheric and photogenic scene. All the fatigue from a day of travel instantly melted away. The location is right at the entrance of the scenic area, making it very convenient to get there, and they offer free shuttle service. The breakfast was also delicious, with freshly cooked rice noodles and steamed dim sum, perfect for a hearty start to the day.

I was traveling alone, and after researching various options, I found this hotel which seemed great, so I booked it. When I first arrived, I took a wrong turn and had to walk a long way around before finally finding it. 1. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the scenic area, and in the mornings, there's dedicated staff who drive guests right to the entrance of the scenic spot. 2. Around the hotel, there are pharmacies, restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, and fruit stalls, all within two to three hundred meters, which is very convenient. 3. Everything in the hotel is very clean and disposable. The slippers are disinfected, and there's even a magnifying makeup mirror! 4. The front desk staff were also very kind and attentive. They even walked a distance from the entrance to help me with my luggage. 5. However, the soundproofing of the hotel isn't great. I could clearly hear children shouting downstairs in the middle of the night. Overall, it was a very good stay. It's one of the few hotels I've stayed at that I've been truly satisfied with!

This hotel is perfect for travelers who aren't in a hurry to get to the valley. During peak hours, it can take over 30 minutes by taxi to and from the Jiuzhaigou Tourist Center. The hotel and rooms offer stunning views, located in the Huamei Shengdi town. Within walking distance, you'll find basic amenities like convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. It's also easy to get a taxi to Zhongzha Valley. The room facilities are on par with what you'd expect from a five-star resort hotel. Overall, the service was generally mediocre. Two things, however, stood out as excellent: Firstly, a slightly older male staff member during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic. He noticed it was our first stay and gave us a detailed介绍 of child-friendly attractions nearby. Secondly, when our TV broke, two maintenance staff members worked diligently for a long time into the evening, eventually discovering the IP was down and replacing the TV – they worked very hard late at night. Additionally, the shuttle drivers within the hotel were very responsible, always offering rides if they saw us on the road. Other services were rather cold. After discovering the TV was broken, the front desk initially dismissed it as a signal issue. It took a second call before they sent maintenance. There was no butler contact throughout our stay, but oddly enough, we received a call asking for a good review after we checked out. During our stay, there was a celebrity filming, and a staff member actually blocked our way to our room, asking us to make way for the celebrity – it was baffling.

The B&B environment is beautiful and quiet, far exceeding my expectations. The room was also very clean. The hot water kettle is the kind that heats directly, which is very convenient. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic; she carefully explained how to use the room's facilities and even helped with luggage. The breakfast was also very generous, and you could get free refills if needed. The driver provides free pick-up and drop-off to scenic spots, which is super convenient, and he was very enthusiastic about introducing the local specialties. I'm extremely satisfied!

I've stayed at many Hilton hotels across the country, and I want to share my honest experience from this stay. We were in Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong from the evening of the 29th to the 2nd, and stayed at this hotel. The price, at 1400 a night, wasn't cheap but not overly expensive either. We chose it hoping for good service and environment, but were a bit disappointed. Here are my thoughts: 1. The hot water tap in the bathroom was broken... That's a bit much. 2. The carpet wasn't treated for slip resistance; it was very easy to slip and fall. 3. Drinks weren't refilled when the room was cleaned, even though they were included in my booking. These were just cheap sodas and the like, but such details shouldn't be overlooked in a five-star hotel. 4. It gets very cold in the mountains at night, and the hotel didn't have hot air conditioning. We had to get a portable heater, which made the air incredibly dry. 5. The hotel is located in a resort area, but all the surrounding businesses have closed down. There's nothing to browse or eat nearby in the evenings. We had to go all the way to the 'Eternal Love' area for dinner. On our first night, not wanting to travel, we ate the hotel's buffet dinner and ended up with diarrhea. There were only 4 types of chilled seafood, and the other dishes were just mediocre. 6. The TV was very small, and the bed was extremely soft, not suitable for people with back problems. Overall, regarding the general detail experience, I can only give it a 68 out of 100.

So glad we chose this forest hotel; it really added a unique touch to our trip. It's located deep inside Zhongzhagou Valley, which is already stunning. If you're not in a rush to get to Jiuzhaigou, you could easily spend a few extra days here. There's even a hiking trail behind the hotel if you're into that. We were incredibly lucky and spotted wild rabbits on the lawn in the afternoon, evening, and early morning! The hotel also offers dining, and there are ******* restaurants in the village. However, you'll find more options down the mountain, which is only about a fifteen-minute drive away. We had to leave after breakfast to head to Jiuzhaigou, but we definitely could have stayed another day to explore the surrounding scenery.

The hotel is directly opposite 'Impression Lijiang', which is a great location. The rooms are spacious and feature smart home technology. There's also a laundry room. The facilities, location, and value for money are all good, but there's room for improvement in the service: 1. When booking, it showed a shared shuttle service from Jiuzhai-Huanglong Airport, but it wasn't specified that it was a third-party service requiring additional payment. 2. For departures to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, there was only one shuttle bus. Given the morning peak hour traffic, its operational capacity was clearly insufficient. We later discussed this with the hotel, and they covered the cost for us and another two guests (four people in total) to take a taxi to the scenic area. 3. Previous reviews mentioned that breakfast wasn't great, and my personal experience confirms it's quite average. However, considering the ambiance, location, and value for money, it's still generally acceptable.
