Jiuzhaigou Hotels with balcony

I rarely write reviews, but I just had to before I even checked out this time. The service was absolutely fantastic! We originally booked the No. 1 courtyard, but they upgraded us to the No. 5 courtyard upon arrival. They helped us book tickets for the show and even provided pick-up and drop-off. They also arranged transportation to scenic spots and recommended a variety of local delicacies, giving us more options to choose from. However, we still preferred eating at the guesthouse – it was clean, quiet, delicious, had great views, and used fresh ingredients. The stay was very comfortable, and all three generations of our family were extremely satisfied with the experience. Huahua is so adorable! It's wonderful to see a dog so free yet still part of a family. As a dog owner, I can't stand guesthouses that keep dogs just for marketing purposes. Huahua here is genuinely happy and very friendly. My child kept saying they wanted to come back to see Huahua again before we left. I hope to see Huahua living such a happy life next time too!

This guesthouse is a true hidden gem, nestled atop its own private mountain. The rooms are comfortable and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The mountain scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows changes with the weather and sunlight, and you can enjoy beautiful vistas right from your bed. I heard the highest peak is considered a sacred mountain by the locals. When it rains, you can witness an enchanting misty mountain scene; in spring, the mountains are covered in wildflowers; autumn brings vibrant fall colors; and in winter, you get to see snow-capped peaks. The beauty of Jiuzhai isn't just in Jiuzhaigou itself, but also in the stunning landscape visible from this guesthouse's windows. There are friendly cats and dogs in the yard that love attention, and in the evenings, there's a bonfire with drinks and music – it's a perfect place to relax and unwind. I was incredibly lucky to see a sky full of stars, the Milky Way, and even shooting stars on a clear night! I loved this guesthouse so much I took a lot of pictures. Lu Jing isn't close to the scenic area entrance or the direct shuttle bus stop, but the environment is truly wonderful and it offers a completely different experience from a typical chain hotel. They offer one free pickup (though since I was coming from Huanglong Scenic Area, they could only pick me up at the shuttle drop-off point), and every morning they drop you off at the scenic area entrance. Because it's not near the commercial district, it's very quiet and not crowded. It was perfect for my solo trip. The in-room amenities were top-notch; I slept very comfortably. The bathroom faucets and showerheads were all Kohler, and the room was very clean. The front desk lady even helped me carry my luggage to my room when I checked in, the service was excellent. Next time I come to Jiuzhaigou in the autumn, I'll definitely stay here again!

My overall stay was a mixed bag. While some staff members provided commendable service, there were serious privacy violations and significant safety and hygiene issues. I'd like to specifically commend Kari, Vincent, Emily, and Sophie. They were patient, responsive, and provided professional and attentive service, which greatly enhanced our trip. A special shout-out to Vincent; despite being a manager, he drove us around in the sightseeing buggy and even took us to a different location for a taxi, ensuring we got there comfortably. My service rating is solely for these staff members. However, some unacceptable problems arose: The breakfast hygiene was concerning; we found hair in the food. For a high-end hotel, such hygiene issues are inexcusable and raise serious food safety concerns. The privacy and security in the guest room were severely compromised. While someone was still in the room, a staff member knocked only once before immediately pushing the door open and looking directly towards the closet area. This was a grave infringement on guest privacy and a serious breach of security. When paying for a hotel room, guests are entitled to basic privacy. This incident was so severe it warranted calling the police. I felt a complete lack of security throughout my entire stay. The hotel's hardware and views are good, but the room management processes, breakfast hygiene, and staff entry protocols urgently need a complete overhaul. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prioritize privacy and hygiene. I hope the hotel takes this incident seriously, strengthens all-staff training, and prevents other guests from experiencing similar situations.

The environment here is fantastic, with pristine forest right behind the property. On clear days, you can even see snow-capped mountains across the way and behind us, though it's quite atmospheric even on cloudy days. It's truly untouched; we saw wild rabbits hopping around and herders' horses grazing nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the yak hotpot we had for dinner was pretty good too. I also highly recommend exploring the village down the mountain.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain and offers shuttle service directly to the top. The driver was very enthusiastic and proactively helped with our luggage. The front desk staff were also excellent, providing superb service and a great emotional experience. Down the mountain, there's a very lively street with plenty of options for dining and shopping, which is super convenient. The hotel facilities are quite new, and there's a small balcony. From the balcony, you can enjoy the mountain views, and at night, you can even stargaze. There's a bonfire party at 8:00 PM, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Thumbs up!

I'm not a shill, this is a genuine review. The guesthouse has a great location. If you take the Jiuzhai tour bus, you can get off at Zangwang Station and it's a two-minute walk from there. The surrounding area is bustling with amenities like KFC and Starbucks. It's also very close to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, about a 15-minute walk. The room was clean and tidy, with complimentary snacks and fruit, and disposable bath towels and face towels. There's a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak or foot bath after exploring the scenic area. The bed and duvet were very comfortable. The staff were warm and polite.

1. The location is quite convenient, close to Moon Bay parking lot, where you can catch buses for arrivals and departures. You can take a taxi to the scenic area, which costs just a few yuan. The hotel is about a kilometer away from the scenic area. It can be hard to find a taxi after playing, but you can walk back, though it might be a bit tiring after a day of exploring. 2. The hotel handles issues very promptly and provides a butler service. They even offered foot-soaking amenities, which was a great touch! It's excellent for older guests, as they respond immediately to any problems. The breakfast is also very rich and satisfying for the family. 3. We stayed in a deluxe twin room, which was spacious enough for a comfortable rest. The room had a wet and dry separation. We were on the third floor, and it was very quiet at night. The hotel also tried its best to accommodate our room preference requests upon check-in, which was much appreciated! 4. There are many dining options nearby, including a newly opened tomato yak beef hotpot restaurant, making it very convenient for meals. Chuanjie Yak Beef Noodles is also not far. If you don't feel like walking, you can order takeout, though it can only be delivered to the hotel lobby, which is a bit inconvenient.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We drink a lot of water, and they didn't bat an eye, which was great. The sister who wore traditional clothing also had excellent service. However, the rooftop on the fourth floor was quite desolate, and there were sunflower seed shells left there for days without being cleaned. The hotel is not far from the scenic area. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. You get what you pay for, and for the price, I think it met expectations. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the breakfast; it wasn't very tasty. The buns, corn, and purple sweet potatoes were all cold, and the noodle topping wasn't good. But we stayed for two days, and while the first day's breakfast was terrible, the second day's was much better, so it might depend on the specific day. Overall, it's pretty good – not amazing value, but not a bad deal either. It's an average guesthouse, which is perfectly normal.

Great location, very convenient for getting around. The hygiene was decent, and the price offered good value for money. The common areas were clean, the atmosphere was quiet, and the facilities were complete, making it a very suitable and recommended stop for a trip.
