We absolutely loved our night at the Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome-kind, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. Their warmth set the tone for a perfect stay.
Our room was a dream: spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the linens felt fresh and crisp, and there was plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. It’s the kind of space that instantly puts you at ease.
And then there’s the surprise that makes this place unforgettable—their charming little zoo! We were delighted to wander outside and find deer gracefully roaming, a curious ostrich adding a playful touch, and three adorable dogs who absolutely stole our hearts. It’s unique, joyful, and perfect for both families and anyone who loves a bit of nature and personality with their stay.
If you’re heading to the astounding Jiuzhai Valley National Park, this place makes the adventure even more special. The park’s dreamlike scenery-mirror‑clear lakes in shades of turquoise, terraced mineral pools, cascading waterfalls, and ever‑changing forests left us in awe. After a day of wandering boardwalks and soaking in those views, coming back to the serenity of “Between the trees and streams” felt perfect. The name truly fits the vibe.

YYalvFor the price, both the hotel's amenities and the scenery were absolutely breathtaking!
Upon arrival, a dedicated butler welcomed us with a traditional Hada scarf. Prior to check-in, we enjoyed welcome tea and a stunning ******* dance performance – both the dancers and the backdrop were enchanting.
During check-in, they also gave us a comprehensive tour of the lobby's functional areas, introducing their three restaurants:
The stir-fry restaurant offered delicious food and the most spectacular views (even the tableware was custom-designed to complement the ambiance).
The mini hot pot restaurant was very refined.
And then there was the Western restaurant, which apparently wasn't great (we didn't try it ourselves, but reviews suggested it wasn't up to par).
The sprawling resort consists entirely of individual villas, so electric buggy service is essential and generally available on demand (though there were occasional minor hiccups, which I hope they address).
The room was simply indescribable – so comfortable and steeped in local culture and unique features. My child exclaimed that the moment they saw the room, all the exhaustion from our long journey immediately melted away, making it completely worthwhile (a 2-hour high-speed train ride from Chengdu to Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou, followed by another 1.5 hours from the station to the hotel). I've never stayed in a hotel this beautiful, this spacious and grand, complete with such a massive balcony! It genuinely felt like a 'welcome home' – though even my own home isn't this stunning! I must be dreaming!
The swimming pool was so immaculately clean, it didn't even have a hint of chlorine smell.
Upon departure, they even presented us with a thoughtful 'love bento' (delicious sandwiches, nuts, and fruit) and welcome gifts for the children (toys, bracelets, craft kits, etc.).
Just a note: the in-room minibar is complimentary only on the first day of your stay.
All the staff were incredibly charming and warm-hearted (I have photos to prove it!).
If I *had* to point out one minor drawback, it would be the transportation inconvenience; you'll need to charter a car, otherwise, getting down the mountain would be quite a challenge!
I've never written such a detailed hotel review before, but if I had to describe this hotel in just two words, they would be: utterly magnificent!

YYiyunenaniiThe setting is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. There are also many activities available, such as trying on traditional ******* clothing for photoshoots and horseback riding. We were even incredibly lucky to witness a double rainbow on the day we checked in! The service was outstanding; they arranged for a driver to take us to and from the town whenever we needed. On our departure day, we had an early high-speed train and wouldn't have time for breakfast, but one of the lovely hotel staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take on the go. And the photo opportunities by the pond were absolutely stunning!

The hotel's location in Huameishengdi was perfect; we could walk to restaurants in just a couple of minutes. Getting to scenic spots was convenient by taxi, taking about 17-20 minutes.

MM282884****Very close to Goukou, about a ten-minute drive away. Although it's located near the road, it's behind the main commercial street, so it's very quiet at night. During the off-season, there's ample parking, and the spaces are a good size. The hotel's decor is stylish and very new, with no unpleasant odors. The only downside is the low water pressure, which is comparable to other hotels in western Sichuan, but the water temperature is stable. Breakfast is rich and replenished promptly, and it tastes great – I wished I had two stomachs! The service is excellent; everyone is polite and thoughtful, and we even received complimentary welcome fruit.

GGuest UserThis trip was absolutely worth it, even though I was initially worried about the long journey. In the end, I'm so glad we braved the trouble and came. Traveling in winter isn't about stunning scenery; it's truly about escaping the crowds and hiding away in the mountains. The eight kilometers of dusty, winding mountain road didn't feel long at all. In fact, turning the corner and seeing the hotel's entrance felt just like the entrance to a hidden village, with staff and a small dog greeting us with traditional Hada scarves. The emotional value was off the charts!
The room was rustic yet refined, with large windows facing the distant mountains and the kitchen smoke rising in front. Clever touches were everywhere: small board games in the cabinet, and a leather-bound notebook filled with messages from previous guests. The room also came with a yoga mat, a steam eye mask, and lip balm. The shower was incredibly comfortable; the shower stall was a tiny wooden cabin, and as soon as the hot water turned on, it felt like a sauna – absolutely no cold!
As southerners, we still felt a bit chilly in winter even with the heating and underfloor heating on, but they even provided electric blankets in the room! Plus, the mattress was firm and comfortable; I slept without any back pain.
Now, for my favorite aspect of this hotel – it felt like staying in the home of a warm and hospitable ******* family, full of genuine human connection. The driver told us about the mountain's past and present and the villagers' lives. The staff proactively offered to take photos for us with their camera and props. On Christmas Eve, there was complimentary mulled wine and late-night snacks. Even after their shift ended, they still turned on the Christmas tree lights to help us take pictures and even tried to wake up our friend with better photography skills to take photos for us, hahaha!
The only regret is that we stayed too short a time. We didn't get to explore the back mountain or participate in a workshop. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back!

SSusuYANGA holiday should be about breaking free from the conventional, and I much prefer raw, authentic experiences. Staying here, all my worries instantly melted away, and both my body and mind reconnected with their true, original selves, allowing for a deeper focus on my inner peace.
My mornings weren't woken by an alarm clock or the din of city traffic, but by the gentle neighing of horses right outside my window. Stepping out, I was greeted by horses and wild rabbits, all coexisting peacefully without bothering anyone.
The staff's service was truly personalized and attentive, a refreshing change from the generic, 'by-the-book' service you often encounter. While everyone's needs and feelings are different, and a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn't work, I personally had a fantastic experience. It truly depends on what you're looking for in a stay; for me, what I particularly cherished here was the immersive nature, the profound relaxation, and the sheer tranquility.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the service from our personal butler, Yuying, made us feel incredibly welcome. She proactively asked for our arrival time before check-in, prepared the room in advance, and thoughtfully recommended nearby dining options. The room itself was quite spacious, featuring a balcony, a separate desk, a sofa, and even a heater, making the facilities very comprehensive! Highly recommend! Highly recommend!!!

Hygiene: It's clean and tidy, with new, clean, and comfortable bedding. The duvet is thin but warm.
Environment: The hotel is located in a primeval forest, making it grand and quiet. The only downside is how dry it gets at night.
Service: The hotel staff are friendly and pleasant. The front desk staff are professional and handle check-ins quickly, which is great. A special shout-out to the lobby manager, Yolanda. During my two-night stay, I saw her in the lobby every day, greeting guests warmly and enthusiastically. She answered all our questions and resolved any issues.
