"A very tastefully designed hotel with a cozy and welcoming lobby. The inner courtyard and garden deserve special mention – a beautiful, unique oasis with many plants, flowers, trees, and inviting seating areas that create a wonderful atmosphere to relax and feel at home.
Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything one could need. Everything was spotlessly clean. The service was good, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is offered via a small but well-chosen menu. Communication worked very well via WeChat using the translation function. We were especially grateful to the young staff member who helped us organize our onward journey to Shaxizhen 沙溪镇.

"Before coming to Dali, I spent a lot of time comparing hotels and finally chose Pullman, opting against a B&B. It turned out to be a wise decision. I was traveling with my parents, and all of us were very satisfied.
The front desk staff had an amazing attitude and proactively upgraded us to an executive floor.
The concierge was enthusiastic and professional. We had a lot of luggage, and they handled everything for us.
Our butler, Mary, was incredibly attentive, from recommending various itineraries and providing a hand-drawn hotel map to suggesting local delicacies and sending thoughtful daily greetings. She was both professional and warm.
The hotel gym isn't huge but is very well-equipped.
The breakfast was also delicious, with Dali specialties like Ersi (rice noodles), roasted Erkuai (rice cake), and Xidoufen (pea flour soup), all tasting great. Here's a small detail: I left my room card on the dining table. Before I even reached the elevator and realized my mistake, a kind lady from the restaurant came running to bring it to me.
To sum up, among all the hotels I've experienced during my self-driving trip in Yunnan, I feel the Pullman staff have the best service attitude. From the front desk, concierge, and butler to the restaurant staff and even the cleaning crew, everyone was smiling and thoughtful towards guests. A huge thumbs-up! I hope you continue to maintain such high standards of service!"

"Located by Erhai Lake, it's convenient to walk around. The family suite has a good layout, and the room is clean. The owner provides excellent service, helping us with things like timely car rental. GGuest UserWe had a wonderful two-night stay at Dali Twelve Clouds Villa Seaview Hotel (Erhai Branch).😊 The view of the lake from our room was stunning, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the breakfast was very, very good — plenty of variety and really fresh. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and great value for money.
A special mention goes to Zhang Feng, who truly made our stay outstanding. Even though we arrived late at night, he checked us in smoothly and went above and beyond to help us. We didn’t have access to the local food apps, but he kindly used his own to order food for us when we were hungry, making sure everything was taken care of. Throughout our stay, he was attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His hospitality really stood out.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful scenery, comfortable rooms, and genuine hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if you meet Zhang Feng, you’ll be in very good hands!😊

The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable. Our luggage was quite heavy, and when he realized this, he borrowed a cart to help us transport it. When we checked out, it was very early in the morning and he couldn't find a cart, so he personally helped us drag our suitcases to the alley entrance, making it much easier for us to catch a taxi.
We were so happy to have chosen this guesthouse for our trip to Dali. A huge thank you to the owner and his family for their kindness. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Dali!

We arrived late in the evening, and a staff member helped us with our luggage to our room and gave us tips on exploring Dali. The next day, we enjoyed delicious pour-over coffee and a healthy dessert afternoon tea. My favorite spot was their small pool with a few lounge chairs around it – it instantly gave off island vacation vibes. From our room, we had a direct view of Cangshan Mountain, and in the evenings, we could watch the sunset and the beautiful night view of the ancient city. There's also a rooftop terrace on the fourth floor where you can catch both sunrise and sunset. This guesthouse offers excellent value for money. I hope to bring my family and friends here next time.

MM2ewuepzb****Our stay in Shuanglang was simply divine, and this seaview room was absolutely legendary! From booking to check-out, the entire experience was incredibly pleasant. Before we even arrived, the butler contacted us to ask if we needed parking or any other services.
First, let me rave about the sea view – it was absolutely breathtaking! The room's floor-to-ceiling windows and private balcony faced Erhai Lake directly, offering expansive views that stretched all the way to the silhouettes of Cangshan Mountain in the distance. Especially at sunset, the warm, orange light reflecting on the water, creating shimmering ripples, wasn't overly saturated; it was the natural glow of a true sunset. Every photo I took was a masterpiece, no filter needed.
The facilities and amenities were incredibly comprehensive and high-quality. The room was spacious and well-laid-out, never feeling cramped. The bedding and towels were soft and gentle on the skin, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation. Hot water supply was consistent with great water pressure, and even the hairdryer was high-powered, drying my hair quickly. The room also came equipped with a mini-fridge and tea set, perfect for a relaxing cup of tea while enjoying the sea view.
The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable, with a minimalist yet luxurious design aesthetic. The public areas were tastefully decorated, whether it was the bookshelf area in the lobby or the lounge area in the courtyard – both perfect for quiet contemplation and escaping the city's hustle and bustle.
The service was impeccable. The staff were gentle, responsive, and quickly resolved any issues we had. They even proactively helped us book local specialty experiences like cycling around the lake and Erhai boat tours, which was a thoughtful touch.
The location was also incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Shuanglang. It's just a few minutes' walk to all sorts of shops and restaurants in the ancient town, yet it's set back enough to avoid the main street's noise. You get to enjoy the buzz while still having peace and quiet – definitely our top choice for accommodation in Shuanglang!
A good hotel should always be comfortable and beautiful! We decided to upgrade our room type upon arrival, which was well worth the extra cost! However, this place truly offers excellent value for money!

GGuest UserClouds Villa is absolutely incredible. After staying in the heart of Lijiang’s Ancient City, it was refreshing to be up in the mountains here—peaceful, scenic, and really fresh air—but still only about a 10-minute Didi ride into Dali Ancient Town when we wanted cobbled streets, fried cheese, rose cakes, and all the amazing food.
We came here for our honeymoon and booked a hot spring villa, and to our surprise, we were upgraded to an even larger villa. The staff also surprised us with a bottle of red wine and a delicious cream cake—a really thoughtful touch that made our stay feel special.
The hot spring itself was perfect. After a day of walking the Ancient City or biking around Erhai Lake, relaxing in the steaming water was heavenly. The villa’s private yard was beautifully designed and made for the perfect chill spot. The whole resort is landscaped with care—gardens, ponds, and mountain views everywhere you turn.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied—plenty of choices to start the day right. It was all so nice that we extended our stay by a couple of days because we just didn’t want to leave.
Another highlight is the location right next to the Chongsheng Temple complex. The temples are stunning and absolutely worth a visit, and at night you can even hear the bells ringing, which adds a magical vibe to the stay.
All in all, Clouds Villa was everything we could have hoped for and more. I honestly wish I could live there forever.
