"A very satisfying stay! The location was easy to find, right by Erhai Lake, and parking was convenient with EV charging stations available. The front desk staff had a great attitude, and the room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and a smart toilet. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. It offers great value for money, and the overall experience was excellent. It's a great choice for both business trips and tourism. I'll definitely come again! I usually don't leave good reviews, so when I do, it means I was truly impressed."

"I can't imagine this hotel having any bad reviews. My two-day stay was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and beautiful with an excellent view; the hillside scenery truly captures the essence of Cangshan and Erhai Lake. There were several housekeepers, and they responded promptly to any requests I sent in the group chat. We brought a bouquet of flowers from Kunming, and they even provided a vase and scissors for me to arrange them. Since the hotel is about a kilometer from the dining street below, they offered complimentary shuttle service during our stay. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. On our last day, we had no plans, so we just sat on the balcony, enjoyed the view, and it was incredibly peaceful. The hotel is very photogenic, with many great spots for pictures, and the design feels very high-end. When I showed the photos to my friends, they all said they want to stay here next time they visit Dali. I believe a good hotel doesn't need marketing; guests can truly feel the effort put into the service."

"Located on a small hill near Qingshan Village in Dali Haidong, this hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the Shuanglang Scenic Area. The surroundings are quiet with no commercial shops, making it ideal for those traveling by car or private charter. The hotel's biggest draw is undoubtedly its 'Sky Mirror' swing, offering panoramic views of Erhai Lake, with Cangshan Mountain visible in the distance. During this season, you can even catch a glimpse of snow on Cangshan in the mornings, and I was lucky enough to see the 'Erhai Moon' at night! 😃 The room amenities and supplies were fairly basic, but I brought my own, so it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast is served in a separate building, so you have to go downstairs and walk over. Service: The male staff members were very friendly. There are many steps leading up to the front desk, and they were quite helpful carrying my luggage!"

"I've stayed at quite a few guesthouses in Dali, but choosing April·Return was a pleasant surprise. Located along the lakefront, the weather was perfect when I checked in, allowing me to witness an unforgettable sunset over Cangshan Mountain—no exaggeration, the view from the second-floor common area offered a breathtaking panorama of the nineteen peaks of Cangshan, every snapshot a masterpiece! As for the accommodation, as a designer guesthouse, both the common areas and guest rooms feature a lot of open space. The rooms include bathtubs with views of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, which instantly soothed my fatigue and helped me get a good night's sleep. The rooms also include local breakfast and afternoon tea, so you don't need to go out to find a trendy cafe; a good mood is guaranteed! It's a guesthouse I'd definitely stay at again. P.S.: I recommend staying two nights or more for a more complete experience!"

"The room layout is great, allowing you to enjoy a cup of tea while overlooking Erhai Lake. We encountered tidal flow lanes (5:30 PM - 6:45 PM) on our way to the hotel. We called the hotel directly and added Diana, a staff member, on WeChat. She guided us to the hotel very accurately and even recommended local Dali food and travel routes, saving us a lot of trouble. The underground parking is also excellent. This is a reputable hotel, and its quality is trustworthy. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dali."

The panoramic rooftop terrace and the viewing platforms in each room are my personal hidden gems. —During the day, I watched the waves of Erhai Lake; in the evening, I waited for the sunset's blue hour; at night, I gazed up at the starry sky. Every photo I took here was stunning, no filter needed. ✨ Qiyun Room Type: A healing space to watch the sea from bed The design of the Qiyun room perfectly blends 'luxury' with 'relaxation'. - Absolutely stunning views: The large floor-to-ceiling window acts like a flowing painting. Waking up in the morning, I could watch the mist over Erhai Lake slowly dissipate without even getting out of bed. Even just zoning out became a pleasure. - Impeccable details: Soft music played from the Marshall speaker, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud, instantly melting away the fatigue of a day's travel. The large bathtub faced the window, and soaking in a hot bath while watching the clouds drift by made time seem to slow down. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind and relax, or to capture stunning photos that will flood your social media, this is the perfect choice for Dali. "I came to Ideal Resort primarily for photos, and I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The main reason is that it boasts the largest area within the entire resort, and you can access the rooftop for photoshoots without any extra charge. Plus, there are so many great spots on the rooftop for pictures – basically all the popular Instagram photo ops are concentrated here! If you love taking photos, you absolutely shouldn't miss it. I had a blast taking pictures here after checking in, especially with the complimentary afternoon tea! The infinity pool is truly stunning. What's more, the butler service was incredibly patient and attentive, and the shuttle service, which can take you up and down the mountain, was always available when called. The rooms are highly automated, and the window view offers a romantic vista of Erhai Lake and the chapel within Ideal Garden. They even provide Dyson hairdryers! The breakfast spread is abundant and varied, easily comparable to a star-rated hotel."

"The hotel is spotless and incredibly quiet and comfortable. The service was absolutely outstanding! Every staff member was dedicated and super friendly to guests. My child experienced altitude sickness for the first time in Yunnan, and the hotel immediately provided oxygen and even offered to accompany us to the doctor. The breakfast was delicious, and room service was very efficient. I highly, highly recommend this place. Before we left, they even gave a small gift to my child. Seriously, I can't recommend this quality hotel enough; it's truly trustworthy."

"This absolutely deserves a 5️⃣-star plus rating! I only stayed one night because I was in Dali for two days, but I'll definitely choose it again next time. The location is great, very close to the airport and high-speed rail station, about 20 minutes away. Facilities: Excellent! They have everything – a projector, bathtub, a balcony with a prime sea view, a hairdryer, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find an iron too. The hairdryer is a Dyson, which was really good. Another even bigger surprise was that you don't need to bring clothes for travel photography; downstairs, they have Yi and Bai ethnic costumes, and long-sleeved dresses in various colors, even with trains, all perfect for photoshoots and all provided for free. Cleanliness: Very clean. The butler, restaurant staff, and cleaning aunties not only provide excellent service and have great attitudes but also work meticulously and keep everything spotless. Environment: The owner has nurtured many beautiful flowers and succulents for 6-7 years. There's a lovely small garden, swings, a swimming pool, a piano, a rooftop afternoon tea area, and even a sailboat⛵️. On the day we checked in, we planned to go sightseeing, but we ended up taking photos at the hotel until 7:30 PM! The owner is very accommodating and even provided airport transfer services."
