LLiimm11I’ve been to many holidays and I rarely leave reviews, but this is the best accommodation I’ve stayed in so far. The service was impeccable and cannot be compared to other accommodations. There was 6 of us and 4 of us stayed in a family room, while the other 2 stayed in a couple room. There was enough space for all our big luggages. Both rooms were clean, neat and great. The views were amazing as well. We stayed in the winter, but the room heater was strong and the bed had a heating function too. The cleaner cleans the room everyday and tops up all the water, toothbrush etc. The surrounding area near the homestay is good, with a tourist attraction just 5 minutes away on foot. It’s very easy to call a DiDi near the homestay, and it is located in a very convenient district. The owners were very nice, they gave us fruits upon arrival and even topped up our rooms with water as the air was very dry. The owner even brought us to a nearby restaurant and the food was so good, my family and I went back twice. Although there was no elevator, but the service was extremely good at the homestay and the owners helped us with all our baggages. As we are foreigners, the staff recommended food and visiting places in Dali, and went above and beyond by helping us to book a car for our day trip around Erhai Lake at a reasonable cost. Even after our stay, they helped us to charter a car to Lijiang as well. I highly recommend this homestay. The experience I had during my time here has left a very positive experience on our trip to Yunnan. The owners are very friendly and are willing to help you with any queries you have. I will make sure to recommend this homestay to my acquaintances and if I ever visit Dali in the future I would definitely book this homestay again! Thank you for making my family’s experience a very positive one in Dali 🥰

__WeChat322990****I'm not usually one to write reviews, but the owner's exceptional service completely compelled me to write my very first one! This was by far the cleanest room I've stayed in throughout Yunnan – absolutely no strange odors, so anyone worried about hygiene can book with confidence. There wasn't a whisper of noise, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. But the real highlight was the service! Even before we arrived, the owner proactively contacted us with directions and tips to avoid common tourist traps. Upon arrival, he gave us a complimentary room upgrade and shared an incredibly detailed itinerary, including taxi advice, which saved us so much hassle. He patiently answered all our questions. The location is also super convenient; a taxi to Erhai Lake or the Cangshan cable car was less than 10 RMB, and the pedestrian street is just a 10-minute walk away. We could catch a taxi just a few meters down the road, which is a huge plus since many parts of the old town center are car-free, and some spots require a 10-minute walk just to find a cab. I could go on and on about all the good things! At check-out, we even received two wonderful souvenirs. If I ever return, I will definitely, definitely, definitely choose this place again. GGuest UserI booked two nights next to the ancient city of Dali. After staying there for one night, my kids said it was not fun just to walk around. I canceled the reservation at midnight and booked a hotel at Time Inn next to the ancient city. After arriving, I felt that both kids were very satisfied. The courtyard is very beautiful and warm, and the boss sister is very enthusiastic (their family came here from their hometown in Chongqing to play here before, but they couldn't take care of it and so they ended up living here permanently). We originally only booked it for one night, but the kids didn't have enough fun and stayed here for two days in a row. ! The eldest brother likes to eat the dinner cooked by the boss very much, it is delicious! (He had a bit of a problem with his mouth, but he said it tasted delicious. It must be better than what I made😋) About 100 meters away is Erhai Lake. We went cycling as soon as we arrived. I accidentally broke my knee, and the boss bought me iodine and povidone. He took anti-inflammatory ***** and enthusiastically took my two children to play on the beach. I was very touched! On the third day today, after having dinner with my sister's family, we rode the boss's tricycle to go for a walk on the Erhai Lake. Bashi's board! In the future, when we come to Erhai Lake, we will still book at my sister’s house. It’s very comfortable! (The tricycle is owned by the owner, so you don’t need to pay for it.) All kinds of travel ladies will arrange a comfortable one for us. We must give it a big thumbs up 👍

GGuest UserThe B&B owner was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. They even helped us adjust our booking when we realized we'd chosen the wrong dates, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, the owner helped us carry our luggage up and down, which was a very thoughtful touch. The B&B itself has a great environment and beautiful views. Plus, you can rent electric scooters there, which is a really good deal. They also serve rice noodle breakfast, and we had it two days in a row – it was delicious, haha. The owner also gave us recommendations for classic tourist routes and tips, helping us avoid any pitfalls.

GGuest UserAbsolutely thrilled with our stay! My child attended a summer camp nearby, and we stayed at this B&B for a week. The owner has an electric scooter, which made dropping off and picking up my child for camp incredibly convenient every day. Plenty of local eateries close by meant all three meals were a breeze. Wuweisi Temple is not far from the B&B, and it's only a ten-to-fifteen-minute ride to Cangshan Cloud Grassland and Erhai Lake. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a large bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after the kids returned from camp. The view was absolutely stunning. From the room, you could see both Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and working from the bay window every day was a real pleasure. The soundproofing was also excellent. Usually, when I stay at B&Bs in towns or villages, I worry about traffic noise, but the soundproofing here was superb. Apart from the garbage truck cheerfully singing its way past downstairs at 8:30 AM, you couldn't hear any neighbor's voices or other car sounds from the room. The small courtyard was beautiful, and the owner has a friendly little dog named Zaizai who was very fond of the children.

EEmily Seah 爱美丽My stay at Dali Hotel was absolutely wonderful, largely thanks to the incredible host, Boss Zhou (周师傅). He is exceptionally friendly and kind. He offered us invaluable local advice which truly helped us avoid tourist traps and ”踩坑” – allowing us to experience the real Dali seamlessly. The hotel itself is impeccable. Our room and the overall environment were very well-maintained, clean and surprisingly spacious, offering great comfort. What truly exceeded all expectations was Boss Zhou's personalized service. Not only did he generously offer us an early check-in, but he even personally came to pick us up! To our delight, he also upgraded us to the largest room for free. This level of care and hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. Highly, highly recommended for anyone visiting Dali. It feels like staying with a helpful friend rather than just at a hotel. PPierre-AlexisWe had an amazing time here ! The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and quiet. The location is also super good (everything in town is walkable from here). The owner is just a lovely guy, super friendly, chill, happy to help you and to share some good moments with you (despite the language barrier, but it worked well with a translator). We met some of the owner's friends and we shared so much time all together, everyone was so welcoming with us, one of the best memory of our travel. The lighting and ventilation of the mountain view room are just average. The Wi-Fi speed is also fast, which is very convenient for office work. MMargauxTI booked a studio on the 3rd for 2 nights and was so disappointed that it was surprisingly not available when I arrived. They gave me another room, clean and comfortable but on the ground floor with no natural light and right besides the reception where people have been loud until late. The next day I discovered the room I initially booked was occupied by other guests. As long as they were leaving, I insisted on changing so I could have the room for the 2nd night, it was wonderful. That's too bad that this happened, rooms shouldn't be sold online if it's not available anymore.. I would have given a 10/10 if only I had the room I booked since the beginning
