MM515703****The room was beautiful and very clean. I stayed for three nights, and every day the room was tidied up and the sheets were changed, which made me feel great coming back. When you open the curtains in the morning, you can see the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight'. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly nice. As soon as we arrived, he helped us with our luggage. We bought too many strawberries and wanted to borrow a pot to make strawberry jam, and he was very enthusiastic, helping us get everything set up and even invited us for tea. In the evening, we wanted to rent an electric scooter for two hours to cruise around the ancient town, and the owner was so generous, offering it to us for free. His scooter was also very easy to ride, definitely worth renting for a whole day! This is my first time writing such a long review, but this place deserves it – it's truly heartwarming.

__WeChat322990****I'm not usually one to write reviews, but the owner's exceptional service completely compelled me to write my very first one! This was by far the cleanest room I've stayed in throughout Yunnan – absolutely no strange odors, so anyone worried about hygiene can book with confidence. There wasn't a whisper of noise, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. But the real highlight was the service! Even before we arrived, the owner proactively contacted us with directions and tips to avoid common tourist traps. Upon arrival, he gave us a complimentary room upgrade and shared an incredibly detailed itinerary, including taxi advice, which saved us so much hassle. He patiently answered all our questions. The location is also super convenient; a taxi to Erhai Lake or the Cangshan cable car was less than 10 RMB, and the pedestrian street is just a 10-minute walk away. We could catch a taxi just a few meters down the road, which is a huge plus since many parts of the old town center are car-free, and some spots require a 10-minute walk just to find a cab. I could go on and on about all the good things! At check-out, we even received two wonderful souvenirs. If I ever return, I will definitely, definitely, definitely choose this place again. Finally, I wish the owner a prosperous business! (The picture was taken at check-out, so please excuse the slight mess.)

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient. The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

GGuest UserWe visited Dali for the first time from New York. Our kids were in a local summer camp for two weeks. We took the large three bedroom suite. It was a very comfortable stay - perfect for adults and children. The owners were very nice and sweet, especially with the kids. They would offer fruit from their garden sometimes. The hotel had a nice stream and a pond with fish inside. The kids loved it. They would catch fish and eel with their nets over and over again. Also they have a friendly dog that the kids enjoyed playing with. The hotel is 10 minutes away from Dali village. They had some scooters that we used from time to time to travel around, which made everything more convenient. If we come to Dali again we would stay in this hotel.

GGuest UserTraveling with my parents, I found this place to have the best location and high ratings. I messaged the owner beforehand about our situation, and she was very kind, arranging a ground-floor room for us. The inn isn't wooden, so soundproofing is excellent. It's tucked away in an alley, making it very quiet. From the fourth floor, you can catch both sunrise and sunset. My parents found it very comfortable, and they also promptly accommodated my work needs. They took great care of us these past few days. A big thank you to the owners for their hard work and for our encounter! 😀 We ate at the restaurant recommended by the owner two nights in a row! Two-Day Stay Includes One-Day Erhai Lake Bus Tour: Booking was smooth; just a quick word with the owner. The itinerary was packed, covering many places in one day – quite good value for money. They do take you to a spot where you can ride horses, feed peacocks, and do tie-dye, which involves some spending. They also promote flower cakes and mushroom snacks on the bus, but there's no pressure to buy. Welcome Fruit: The fruit here is definitely better than what we get up north!

__APC502968****This time, my boyfriend and I traveled together and stayed for 3 nights. Because the same room type was fully booked, we had to change to an upstairs room on the second day. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic and always offered to help us move our large suitcases, they were so kind! One night, my boyfriend suffered from altitude sickness in the early hours, and I messaged the owner. They replied instantly and brought us an oxygen tank, constantly checking in on us, which was truly touching! The breakfast every day was freshly cooked and fragrant rice noodles. The room was also very spacious and clean. In terms of location, it's very close to Sanyue Street, great for shopping, and also close to the ancient city. You can even rent an electric scooter from the owner! There's also a billiard table downstairs for entertainment! I have to say it again, the owner is really, really nice!! I didn't actually take any photos of the hotel, but the environment is really good!

GGuest UserThe hotel is just 3 km from Dali Railway Station.If you are using the train,this hotel is one of the best options. I booked a room facing the lake. The view is awesome. There is a lift. The room and toilet are clean. There are basic amenities like body shower, toothbrush,hair shampoo,comb, mineral water,kettle and tv provided. I get free breakfast. They serve plain porridge with condiments, boiled egg,steam corn and sweet potatoes,bread and buns,fresh fruits and warm soy milk.The food is yummy and delicious. Didi is available all the time and easy to assess from the hotel.You may also be greeted by fresh fruit sellers outside the hotel.We do buy some fresh grapes. The hotel reception Ms Xiao Yang is very friendly and helpful.She helped to book Didi to Muslim restaurant for us.We also asked her for help to order a packed lunch because it was raining and we couldn't get out. Despite her work shift ending,she still waited for us to make sure we were safely back to the railway station. I hope her boss will recognise the hospitality she showed. I recommend this hotel to tourists. You will not hear the noise outside the hotel during your stay. Hopefully the management can put the hotel name signboard in english so it is easier for tourists to book Didi. Overall I was satisfied with the room and the warm hospitality the hotel provides. PPierre-AlexisWe had an amazing time here ! The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and quiet. The location is also super good (everything in town is walkable from here). The owner is just a lovely guy, super friendly, chill, happy to help you and to share some good moments with you (despite the language barrier, but it worked well with a translator). We met some of the owner's friends and we shared so much time all together, everyone was so welcoming with us, one of the best memory of our travel. MMargauxTI booked a studio on the 3rd for 2 nights and was so disappointed that it was surprisingly not available when I arrived. They gave me another room, clean and comfortable but on the ground floor with no natural light and right besides the reception where people have been loud until late. The next day I discovered the room I initially booked was occupied by other guests. As long as they were leaving, I insisted on changing so I could have the room for the 2nd night, it was wonderful. That's too bad that this happened, rooms shouldn't be sold online if it's not available anymore.. I would have given a 10/10 if only I had the room I booked since the beginning
