Sanjian Twilight Diary Seaview Hotel, Dali 🇨🇳 Another dreamy escape, every corner of this hotel is so beautiful ✨ The staff serve us a very good service, they allowed me to do early check in and offer us free upgrade room also they can arrange for pick up and drop off at railway station. They have 1 front counter staff that able to speak in English and she very helpful! This hotel very clean and i really satisfied. Recommended to those looking for a good hotel in Dali with Erhai Lake view.

It was such a pleasant experience at Cloud House! The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. They always put up a big smiling face and patiently address all your inquiries. They are very attentive👍🏼 The location was amazing. It is right next to the Erhai Lake. If you love the sea/lake vibe, this is your choice. If you wanna take some nice photos, and here is your choice. I love reading my book just there, so quiet so peaceful. Here are some pictures and video for your references.

A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The view from my room was absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and willing to help with anything I needed. One of the highlights was the free airport transfer, which made my travel stress-free and convenient. I had an early morning flight, and the hotel went above and beyond by packing a breakfast for me to take on the go. That thoughtful touch really made a difference. Overall, I was very impressed with the level of service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great views, and exceptional service.

I stayed at Darling Darling Villa and overall had a pleasant experience, with a mix of highlights and a few areas that could be improved. Location: The villa is conveniently located about 10–14 minutes from Dali Ancient Town, which makes it easy to explore while still enjoying a quieter stay. Room & Facilities: The room was very spacious and big, which was a huge plus. The bathtub was exceptionally large, easily fitting a family of four. However, the area where the tub connects to the floor showed cracking paint, which suggests some lack of maintenance. The steps leading up to the bathtub were also quite slippery, so caution is needed. The toilet area lacked sufficient lighting and did not have an enclosed space. Considering that food in Yunnan often makes bowel movements very “smooth,” the ventilation for odors was rather poor, which could be uncomfortable. There were also flies around the shower area, which was not very pleasant. The basin was slightly low for face washing, but still manageable. Service: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They assisted with carrying our luggage during both check-in and check-out, which was much appreciated. For foreigners, do note that check-in may take longer due to the registration process. Communication via WeChat was fast and responsive, which made things very convenient. One suggestion: please provide clear instructions for using the washing machine—I had some difficulty figuring it out. Thankfully, the staff kindly helped me. Thank you, 小哥哥! 🥺 Rooftop & Views: The rooftop view was stunning, perfect for stargazing. However, we visited during winter and it was extremely cold, so dress warmly if you plan to spend time there. Transportation: The drop-off area is located in a narrow alley, so be sure to inform your cab driver in advance. Otherwise, you may need to carry heavy luggage from the main road, which can be inconvenient. Overall: Darling Darling Villa offers great views, spacious rooms, and genuinely warm service. With some improvements in maintenance, lighting, ventilation, and cleanliness, it could be an even better stay.

This is a very nice hotel in Shuanglang ancient city. The hotel room have a nice view facing Cangshan and Erhai. The room is very spacious, clean and bed is comfortable. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Xiao Lee for the good service and call us 1 day before to arrange for the pick up at the ancient city entrance to the hotel. They offer nice tea break and variety breakfast. We enjoy our stay here. Recommended to stay at this hotel.

A Tranquil, Authentic Stay in the Heart of Dali’s Ancient Town We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yupin Villa Tower Next to the Ancient Courtyard. This beautiful Chinese-style boutique hotel is perfectly nestled in the heart of Dali, just steps away from the ancient town — making it a convenient base for exploring the historic charm of the area. The architecture and atmosphere truly reflect traditional Chinese aesthetics, offering an immersive cultural experience. Our suite was exceptionally spacious, spread over two floors with two full bathrooms, a cozy living area, and tasteful décor throughout — it really felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They greeted us with a refreshing tea drink, assisted us with our luggage, and patiently answered all our questions about the city and nearby sights. Their hospitality made our stay seamless and enjoyable. A special mention goes to the breakfast: although the hotel emphasizes traditional design and ambiance, they thoughtfully prepared a Western-style breakfast tailored to our preferences, which we deeply appreciated. If you’re looking for a stay that blends comfort, culture, and heartfelt service, this is the perfect place. I highly recommend Yupin Villa Tower to anyone who wants a peaceful, authentic, and memorable experience in Dali.

This is a beautiful hotel wonderfully taken care of by a team of dedicated enthusiastic young people who really took such great care of us. Because of them I would revisit Dali and choose to stay at this hotel again. The rooms have nice deco, are warm, even toilet seats have warm covers, comfortable with great unblocked view of Erhai and when sunrises you can lie in bed to watch the mountains across turn gold or crimson. Breakfast and tea is provided, with footbaths and even a photography service. The setup for photography is tasteful and they even provide pretty dresses for photography. It is a quieter location than the west side of Erhai and hence more restful. The seagulls were right in front of the hotel we didn't have to squeeze with the crowds on the west side. Thank you to the wonderful team!

Beautiful hotel managed by a family with very good service. Our original room’s smart toilet bowl kept closing even when someone is on it, and we requested for a room change. They quickly shifted us to another room and even provided a gift as apology. Breakfast is clean, healthy, and delicious. The overall vibe of the hotel is very zen, but some amenities look worn out and needs to be refreshed. Pick up/drop off service is very useful for us as we are traveling with big luggage.
