Full marks, full marks! We chose this place after seeing Xiao Jian's recommendation. The butler contacted us in advance to confirm the number of guests and helped us combine two beds. Upon arrival, we were treated to a delightful afternoon tea (fruits, pastries, nuts) and a late-night snack (red date and white fungus soup). Sitting on the seaside balcony was incredibly relaxing, and our two children couldn't stop exclaiming, 'This place is so beautiful!' The hotel also offered a complimentary 3-photo photoshoot, and that's when we discovered the incredible beauty of not only the sea view and swing in the first-floor restaurant but also the stunning glass room with a white bed on the third floor and the glass walkway on the rooftop. The decor is simply unbeatable. Beyond the fantastic aesthetics, the food was also outstanding. All four of us practically licked the plates clean with the sauce from the yellow curry shrimp, using it to mix with our rice. Luggage service was provided for both check-in and check-out, and a parking spot in a nearby lot was reserved for us in advance. The only minor inconvenience for us as a family with children: the bathroom and toilet in the room only had a glass and sheer curtain partition. It was a bit awkward when adults were showering, as we had to distract the kids with an iPad cartoon.

Choosing Yunying Chunxiao·Shuiyuan is truly a love-filled experience. The hotel is right on the shore of Erhai Lake, offering stunning views of the sea right from your window. Enjoying the sunset in the evening and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is incredibly therapeutic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet sophisticated décor and complete with smart devices, making the stay super convenient. Our butler, Ms. Su, was incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with itinerary planning and recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions. From breakfast and evening sweet soup, the attention to detail was impeccable. The complimentary travel photography experience was also excellent; the photographer was very professional, taking photos in the public areas that turned out beautifully, and the rooftop camera position for panoramic views of Erhai Lake was absolutely stunning. If you want to experience a truly slow-paced life in Shuanglang, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

When I came to Dali for a trip, I didn't hesitate at all when booking Wuyun. I just wanted to wake up and see the sea view, and Wuyun definitely delivered. From the initial communication to the actual check-in, everything was pleasant. Downstairs is a rental shop for the ecological corridor, which is very convenient. The yogurt bowl for breakfast was delicious. I kept wanting to ask what brand of yogurt they used, but I forgot by check-out. 😒 Coffee refills were unlimited and they didn't skimp on quality. My friend and I had many cups. If I come to Dali again next time, I'll definitely stay here!

Our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Dali Erhai Park exceeded our expectations! The hotel's location is incredible; a short walk takes you right to the Erhai Lake shore. Enjoying the evening breeze and the lake view was incredibly soothing. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was so soft and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in, patiently answering all our questions. The breakfast had a good variety of options, including both Chinese and Western simple meals, and tasted homely – just right to fuel up before exploring. The hotel environment is quiet, and parking is convenient, making it very suitable for family trips. I highly recommend this hotel for a vacation in Dali! 😃😃😃😃👍👍👍

I chose a stay at 'Yizhanxue' in Dali, and it was a truly comfortable experience. The overall ambiance is great, the room was clean with no strange smells, and the bedding was soft and made for a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic during check-in, and they gave us some simple tips on nearby dining and attractions. The downstairs shopping area is very close, and getting a taxi is convenient. After a busy day, returning to the hotel was peaceful, allowing me to shed the fatigue of travel. I'm very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it.

I brought my mom to Dali for a trip and stumbled upon this hotel, Yunye Hotel, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, not far from the ancient city, yet the environment is incredibly peaceful, like a little paradise with lush greenery all around. My mom couldn't stop raving about the room and the service – the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive. She loved the rice noodles for breakfast and the afternoon tea, and there was even a sweet soup offered at night. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be back next time and I've already recommended it to my friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at Hidden Mist (listed on Trip.com as Santorini National Tide Sea View Resort). If you are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful lake views, outstanding hospitality, and easy access to the Dreamland Resort area, I would happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Location: The hotel is located within Dreamland Resort on the eastern side of Dali, approximately 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the railway station, and around an hour from Dali Ancient City. We stayed near the Ancient City first before moving here, which I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore both sides of Dali. The resort is large, beautifully maintained, and very walkable. Complimentary golf cart shuttles regularly transport guests around the resort, while taxis are easy to arrange from the main entrance. There are quite a few staircases throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility. Service: The service was exceptional and one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Before we even arrived, the hotel contacted us by email and created a dedicated WeChat group with staff from different departments so we could ask questions or request assistance at any time. Everything felt organised, personal, and effortless. From the moment we arrived, a golf cart was waiting to collect us from the resort entrance. Throughout our stay, the staff regularly checked in to ensure everything was going well and genuinely cared that we were comfortable. The handwritten welcome note, housekeeping notes after each room clean, and staff asking what time would be most convenient to service our room were thoughtful touches that made us feel truly looked after. Although our booking only included a complimentary airport or railway station pickup, the hotel kindly arranged an airport drop-off instead because we had arrived from another part of Dali. This was greatly appreciated. Room & Cleanliness: We booked a room with a private garden overlooking Erhai Lake, and it was absolutely worth it. Waking up to the peaceful lake view each morning quickly became one of our favourite parts of the stay. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything still feels new and exceptionally clean. The large soaking bath, with bath milk replenished daily, was perfect after a day of exploring. The shower had excellent water pressure. As someone with very long hair, I found the shampoo and conditioner a little drying, so I would recommend bringing your own. The secure WiFi was reliable and fast enough for both my husband and me to work during our stay. Breakfast & Dining: Breakfast was excellent, with a choice between a Western breakfast and a local Yunnan set menu. We tried both, and every meal was fresh, well presented, and delicious. As we had an early flight on our final morning, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, another thoughtful gesture that reflected the level of service throughout our stay. Our booking also included complimentary afternoon tea with cakes and fresh fruit. It would have been even better if guests could also choose a complimentary tea or coffee. The room includes quality tea, a premium kettle, and a mini fridge, although adding coffee would be a welcome touch, especially in Yunnan. Facilities & Surroundings: The hotel has a convenient power bank rental station in the lobby, and Dreamland Resort is full of beautiful cafés, viewpoints, and photo spots. Flomis Garden is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Our booking also included a traditional tea ceremony experience, which unfortunately we did not have time to attend. 🌲 Dali Cangshan Oxygen Retreat | Living in This Forest, I Kicked My Phone Addiction🍃 Seriously, I'm so grateful! The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. This is a recently announced four-star B&B in Dali. Hahaha, I booked it after seeing it. The taxi we called didn't go directly to Caicun, so we had to go through a small alley. However, it's very close to the ecological corridor, just across the lawn from the back door. I highly recommend the Erhai Ecological Corridor. We were upgraded during the off-season, and I stayed there for two nights. The bedding, amenities, and cleanliness were all very thoughtful. I complained about the loud air conditioning, but the front desk lady brought a radiator up, and I slept very well that night. The B&B is very eco-friendly, and while it's all green, there weren't any bugs in the room, which is a real plus. The small rooftop garden in Figure 4 is beautiful, but it was a shame that it rained every day in Dali that day, so I didn't get to see the sunrise.

The courtyard room is quiet and therapeutic, surrounded by greenery. In the evening, you can also enjoy stunning sunsets, and the overall value for money is exceptional. The inn's service is attentive and thoughtful, parking for self-driving is very convenient, and complimentary coffee is served daily, creating an amazing ambiance. It's very close to Erhai Lake; you can just step outside for a stroll and even watch the fish lanterns near the property. The small courtyard is serene and elegant, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Staying here is the absolute best choice for a relaxing getaway in Dali.
