"This hotel was great! The location is right in front of the erhai lake, with one of the most beautiful views I have seen yet. Dali is a gorgeous city with lot's to offer, and I think this is a great location if you want to explore a bit more, not just the ancient city. I loved that in the reception they offer free tea (lose leafs, good quality) and have an entire tea ceremony table with everything you need to enjoy the view from the reception. My room was very clean, and they replaced towels and whatever was needed daily. The reception staff was very sweet. The shower had great water pressure and temperature... 5 stars for sure!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of the ancient city, surrounded by a food street. Taxis and food delivery services are easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable, and the bedding is clean and just right. I booked two rooms, and both mine and my children's were great; the bedding wasn't damp at all and felt very comfortable. The hotel's interior environment is fantastic, and they even provide free clothes for photo ops – my family was taking pictures until past 10 PM on our check-in night. The breakfast is exquisite, and the taste perfectly suited for someone from northern China like me; I'd have two bowls of rice noodles every day until I was stuffed! Finally, the staff's service attitude and enthusiasm were exceptionally good and diligent. This hotel is highly recommended."

"We will be back! This felt like a home away from home, except it had such a wonderful view of the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

"The Honglongjing branch in Dali Ancient City is absolutely amazing! 📍 The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Honglongjing Pedestrian Street. Step outside and you're greeted by a gently flowing stream, and you can look up to see the Cangshan mountains. It's just a few minutes' walk to Fuxing Road, the main street, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. 🏡 The ambiance is perfect! The Bai ethnic architectural style blends seamlessly with modern design. The courtyard with its flowing water, flagstone paths, and red lanterns makes every photo Instagram-worthy. At night, when the lights come on, the atmosphere is simply magical, giving off a 'Spirited Away' kind of dreaminess. 💁 The service is incredibly thoughtful! The staff are warm and professional, proactively offering tips on nearby attractions and local delicacies. Their attention to detail really shines through, like providing local snacks and complimentary tea. 🍽️ The overall experience is fantastic! Whether it's the comfortable rooms, the aromatic coffee at the cafe, or the authentic Bai cuisine at the restaurant, everything leaves a lasting impression. It offers excellent value for money. "Location: Situated right inside Dali Ancient Town, making it super convenient for sightseeing and daily life. Facilities: The entire hotel is exquisitely decorated. The rooms are spacious and clean. I stayed in a top-floor room with a view, and the scenery was quite stunning. Hygiene: The whole hotel is very clean; you can stay with peace of mind. Environment: It has an elegant and fresh ancient charm style. There are also three super cute cats: two silver tabbies and one Russian Blue. The silver tabbies are very friendly and love to be petted and held – super adorable! The Russian Blue is a bit less affectionate, but if you pet her just right, you can hold her too. Service: Absolutely top-notch service! You don't even need to plan your trip to Dali, the owner can help with everything. This is by far the best hotel service I've ever encountered. The owner's service philosophy is truly commendable. If you're coming to Dali, just pick this hotel – you can't go wrong!"

"Time seems to slow down to half speed here. Open the door and you're greeted by Erhai Lake; look up and see Cangshan Mountain. The floor-to-ceiling windows are like a living painting. The public areas, with their swings, floral arches, and waterside terrace, offer picturesque spots everywhere. The service is perfectly balanced – gentle and responsive without being intrusive. My most memorable experience was the afternoon tea by the water, with the wind rippling across the lake's surface, a sweet treat in hand, and the layered mountains in the distance. All fatigue simply melted away. Wake up to the clear blue water and sky, and in the evening, wait for a beautiful sunset. Sanse Yunhe is definitely a place I'd love to visit again."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! The hotel location is superb, and the breakfast was quite good. The room was spotless, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no odd smells; all the facilities were complete and functional. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in/check-out was very fast. The cleaning staff were responsive and provided thoughtful, meticulous service. Overall, it was quiet and not noisy, offering excellent value for money. It's my top choice for business trips or travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!"

"The room view was great! Our butler, Domi, contacted us a few days in advance to ask about our check-in needs and even recommended some fantastic local eateries that offered incredible value for money. There's also a 'Starlight Bar' on the 25th floor of the hotel which is perfect for photos. Other staff members were also incredibly proactive and helpful."

"I checked in around 9 PM, and the owner personally greeted me at the door. My luggage was heavy, and they very enthusiastically helped me carry it up to the second floor. When I opened the door, the room was clean and tidy, completely changing my previous perception of guesthouses. The location is excellent, just across the road from Dali Ancient City, making it very convenient to walk or take a taxi to attractions. From the third-floor balcony, I could see Cangshan Mountain behind and Erhai Lake in front – absolutely stunning views! The proprietress even personally made me a delicious coffee. Unfortunately, my mom didn't have enough medication, so I ordered some online, but the delivery was too far and didn't arrive before we left. I had to trouble the proprietress to personally brave the hot sun to pick it up from the parcel locker and then mail it to my home. Thank you to the warm and lovely owners for everything. I wish them a thriving business and a happy life!"
